God Julie, I thought I was early on the site, then I see your post and am happy I am not alone in reading these posts this early in the morning, mind you I am at work but hey a wee sneaky 10 mins to catch up will not hurt anyone LOL Â I agree it will be difficult for Victor, I think he will be pulled in two over what to do for the best, he may even talk to Monica about it all and Eva and decide all together what would be best

Welcome Chenolyn, I am fairly new to the site as well and love catching up with all the info and peoples opinions and ideas of what may happen and how they have seen the previous chapters. Â I kind of feel sorry for Victor as he knows nothing about what happened to his daughter and now I think he will find out either by Graves or by Eva and Graves as she may feel the need to tell her dad knowing that the police might. Â I think Victor will come around to Gideon as he will put two and two together and remember how Gideon was when the detective came round to ask questions and being a police man himself I think he will make the connection and part of me believes that he will feel indebted to Gideon for what he has done to keep his little girl safe but part of him will struggle being a police man and trying to uphold the law. Â I think this will be a difficult time for VictorÂ

I know, I think there will be a role reversal in Eva and Gideon, it will now be Eva that is strong for her man and hopefully Cary will take notice and see the difference in her and think about him having that. Â I agree there will probably be some dark times for Gideon and I think a bit of insecurity as well from what he has done and how Eva will handle it and if she will stay with him but I think once he sees how strong she is being he will start to open up more to Eva, well here's hoping anyway

I did wonder about that as well Julie, but I think Cary will be pleased that Nathan is dead and it may even cement his concerns that Gideon would hurt Eva, this may show him that Gideon would do anything to keep Eva safe and I think that will sit well with Cary, he will probably keep an eye out for his "baby girl" but I think he will deep down be relieved that Gideon did what he did and I think he will now see a stronger Eva and hopefully that will help him as well with his recovery.

I agree Julie, I feel sorry for Cary but deep down maybe I just want him to be a nice guy for Eva and I don't think he would do anything that would hurt her or upset her, he may not like her being back with Gideon and he will probably say so and be sceptical of the relationship but I don't think he would do anything intentially to upset Eva or to jepordise his close connection and friendship to Eva

Personally I don't think Cary would do that as he knows that Eva is not "going to dip her feet in that pool again" Â and I don't think Cary would do anything to upset Eva and risk annoying Eva or Eva falling out with him. Â I think Cary maybe at the club and notice Gideon and Eva's secret meeting

Hey Julie  I actually think that because they have to hide away from prying eyes, it will make them closer, they will have more time together to work on the problems and talk and have great s*x as well but I think this will be a huge turning point for both of them and will make them so much more stronger with each other and with themselves and the relationship and happier.  Well that is my hope anyway and as SD said there will be a HEA and I think this book will help lead the way

I agree Julie, Eva I think is going to have to show Gideon each day how much she appreciates what he has done as I think if she does not show him how grateful she is and how much she loves him I think he will falter and he will slide back into a dark placeÂ

Hi Andie  I am rusty with crosswords so I don't feel I have followed your yo yo very well as I still don't get it, but I never was good at things like that

He probably did do that Julie with the brunettes in his life but I think he knows he cannot be that way with Eva, she is different and would not appreciate this kind of control or domination as it would send triggers to Eva which he could not let happen

I actually held my breath reading this chapter, I am now listening to it while writing (on chapter 5) and both seem so horrid an experience for Eva, all the motions coming back. Â You can see how Gideon felt careful in the shower, not wanting to give Eva any triggers after such a horrid dream.
