But I feel like Gideon would have brought it up when he was discussing Anne's brother with Eva. I don't think Michael was abused. I think it has to do with something that is more surface level. Like who received the most attention as a child, or maybe Sylvia already addressed it when Gideon told Eva about Vidal records. 

 

Also, I hope that Gideon gets that picture for Eva of his farther and him at the beach. I might cry if that scene happens... 

 

And a bachelorette party discussion between Gideon and Eva. That convo could go so many different ways. Maybe at the end of May we will know something about a release date. I am still curious as to when the 5th book will come out in relation t the 4th. Like on the same day or a couple of months following the 4th book...

So I was on SD's facebook and she mentioned in a caption of a picture that she was headed to NYC in the next couple days. Maybe its to meet with Penguin about a possible release date.... or she finished the 5th book and is meeting with them about it. I probably shouldn't make assumptions and get myself excited over nothing lol.

So the readers know who Gideon's abuser was, the guy who was Anne's brother, correct? What is left to find out is what makes Elizabeth deny it as well, am I right? 

Tell me if I have this right: what is left a mystery in the last book is the deal with the mob, where the heck megumi is, why Monica is obsessed with money, and if Brett is involved with the sex tape. I feel like all that can be wrapped up in one book, thinking about how drama packed Sylvia makes them, which makes me wonder what in the world she has in store for us in the next two....

 

I understand S's reluctance in giving us a time frame for the book, especially because she is still writing the 5th one, but ughhhhh in June it will be a year. My mind is running wild with filling in the holes for everything above. 

 

Maybe megumi is prego and has had really bad morning sickness, like the kind where you barf all day. But does anyone else think that she is like overlyyyy ? If you think about it, she makes remarks like every scene she is in about how sexy a man is or she says she wants to do someting naughty to them. Like every scene. I think it's hilarious and has become comic relief  when I am rereading. Next time you re-read, notice how she makes some sexual remark about a man ALL the time.  

I agree sscrph. BTY and EWY were a little bit easier to get through on an emotional level. RIY still has me in tears after reading it a gazillion times. So I think angsty and emotional is on its way.

Do y'all think it will be rocky between G&E or rocky for them both at the same time as a couple? I wouldn't be super excited to read something depressing after being so anxious, so I agree with yall on glad they are coming out close together. I also think that since Sylvia says she is still writing the 5th book that we have a long while to wait... like I thought it would come out in June, but I'm not getting my hopes up for that timing. 

Ugh the more I reread the more impatient I get and I don't want to be impatient

I really wanna see how the conversation went about San Diego! The drop off ending always makes me more eager for the next book!

Do y'all think the next book will close the story line of carry and the baby? I kinda feel like the baby isn't his.

If Sylvia is giving us these little ones then she probably has something great up her sleeve to give us in the future. Has she said anything about a title for the 5th book? Like when she is releasing it? Also, did she say the last two books would come out at the same time or relatively close in dates?

Even if we 600 pages, there wouldn't be enough for the reader to crack Gideon. He is such an elusive character and he is such a big part of the book. I wonder if I will still be thinking this after I finish the first book.

I think if Brett was involved with the release of the sex tape it would be because he thought that Gideon would dump Eva over it and make the way clear for him to move in....if this is true, how he explains his actions to Eva is another story...Perhaps Brett will be the recipient of Eva's Krav Maga skills. .

I wonder if that what the tweet is about. Gideon followed her out to SD and then was being attentive to her bad mood due to Brett. We only get about 350 pages of them a book so they really can't have that many scenes separate.

I def appreciate it! Fingers are still crossed for a late may or early June release though! Hopefully before my vacation so that way I can actually interact with my friends.

Soooo we havnt heard anything in a while and summer is around the corner. I wonder if she will come out with another snippet soon or something. I would like to see a juicy one too, not the norm "I love you so much it hurts" ones. But like a "you look good in that tux" one. Usually tux means they were previously in a limo...

Forget everything else, I wanna know what Brett says about the sex tape!! That interaction will be sooooooo interesting. Like are they gonna scream and yell or will she slap him or will he be like whatever I still love you.

Wow, oops at my typo y'all are reacting to. What I mean is what If the mob is involved because they are getting leverage from G. Like they want to cover it up and help him in order to get something from him. If he doesn't comply they can go after E.

What if the mob killed Nathan because Nathan had ties, or because they knew some how G wanted Nathan done (maybe angus). They could have acted like they were doing it as a favor but really using it as something to get something from Gideon.

Something big that can happen is Eva getting kidnapped by the mob. That would be sad but the worst of the worst in my opinion.

I wonder how much of the book the san diego trip will take. I bet G shows up halfway through because he is so love sick or something. I kinda don't want that to happen actually because I think distance makes the heart grow fonder and the reunion would be even better after a weekend away.

 

If Gideon was tied to the mob for realz then it would make him not such a good guy. Sylvia has made him into a good guy guy that everyone thinks has a bad character. The special thing about Eva is that she is one of the only ones who sees him as good with a bad reputation/ misunderstood.

We have already had an eleven....the plane scene on their weekend get away before they got married!! That was really HOT!! Also the scene at the club during Eva's girls' night out.

I don't understand the statement about an outside source as copy editor.

I mean she should have used a professional copy editor. I think she used her husband or friends or something like that. 

maybe the secret of the wedding gets out before the party and everyone is when they get there and it turns into a sudo-engagement party/celebration...

 

also, I wonder if SD will ever write a scene where G is tipsy/drunk. I feel like that could get a little scary.

 

Also, (last thought I promise... until I get a response) if the books have progressively been getting steamier, then I wonder what the fourth will be like. On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being Beauty and the Beast and 10 being that time Gideon snuck into Eva's room in the middle of the night in the second book and told her to wait/ trust him while he went a-wall and then Cary made the crude comment the next morning about noises...) I think it will be an 11. 

 

I don't think I've read a book where the couple could possibly have extreme reactions to situations like g&e, except that time in 50 shades but I don't really count that cause I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't use an outside source as copy editor. 

I don't think  the issue is with the publisher, if there is an issue at all. If you think about it, Sylvia is one of the most connected authors when it comes to readers and fans. I think that our relationship with her as the writer is what makes the waiting seem to be going on longer than it should. If the book comes out late May or early June, then that seems to be a normal time between releases in a series. I love Sylvia's little teasers and things, but they may be making people think the book is done and printed and they are just being mean and not giving it to us. the end of may is 2 1/2 months away, so lets keep the positivity high and think about whats waiting for us!

 

My question is how many of Eva's friends who we havn't met will be at the dinner, and what happens when they catch the two newly weds being distracted hosts under the table?

How much focus do you think will be put on Gideon's family in CBY?

Since Sylvia said the final two books will be focused on Gideon, then I suspect a lot. There is the stuff about Christopher we need to find out. Elizabeth will not want Eva and G to marry. I feel like a lot of open story lines are on Gideon's side.
