Hi gals ! I'm returning thoughts to snapshot 1 the newspaper . With that in mind the Tuesday that Eva had lunch with Brett she took him to the restaurant that her and Cary had been at and papperazzi had photographed then. So then with that in mind could the papperazzi done the same with her and Brett ? Witha little digging they surely would have found out that Eva Tramell is the Eva in "Golden" Breaking that news prior to the concert in time square with a quote from Brett that he wanted to hook up with Eva and make it work. Any other thoughts ??

GiGi I'm sure that when Eva and Gideon went to the hotel they were boy/girlfriend. This was the Monday after the advocacy dinner. She had been to his office that lunchtime and had consented to be exclusive . After the gym and then the follow trip to the f*** pad for s** led to Gideon taking Eva to his home which he had never done with a woman.

Your reading my mind GiGi! I think that Christopher jr is going to feel betrayed by Ireland as she bonds with Gideon . She's HIS sister not Gideon's . I think we will see a violent side to Christopher jr and Krav Maga and Eva will come to the rescue!

I think Brett will spill that Eva is golden girl in the hope that this will show he has commitment by making his feelings known about her. but this will back fire on him but will help Gideon and Eva out in the long run. Brett can't compete with the chemistry that Gideon and Eva have , he missed his chance with her.

I want Ireland to play matchmaker! And in doing so she's going to bond with her half bro Gideon . I think Christopher jr isn't going to like Ireland getting close to Gideon but I want Ireland to be strong a feisty gal that isn't going listen to Christopher jr but make her own choices.

I read RIY in one sitting couldn't put it down then when i did try to put it down and get some sleep i had to pick it up to see what happened.

I want a wild character have killed Nathan but for Gideon to have known about it or cleaned up the mess provided his security team. That to have been his opportunity taken . I want EWY to have a happily ever after story line. Not Gideon being charged for murder . I'm so glad that the week EWY is released I'm off work on leave. Had requested the time before the release date had been changed!

I love that this new snippet includes more characters that just Gideon and Eva . I think Ireland is there as part of the Vidal family. But I wonder that when she sees Eva she seeks Gideon out to go and talk with Eva . Ireland sees how Eva effect Gideon in a good way how he listens to Eva am sure Ireland wants them together as accouple as much as .â€we the reader want them together .

KiMa I'm liking your thinking of throwing this curve ball into the mix. It's made me laugh after a busy day at work! Gideon's security team investigated him and had given Gideon info on Parker he knew he was married with kids And no one would suspect Parker. What about this for a twist how about DR TRAVIS killing Nathan . Cary had contacted him after his clusterf**k and am sure he would have told him that Eva was having nightmares again.

Eva's birth control is never stated as being the pill. Plenty of other contraceptive methods. I don't think Gideon is ready to be a daddy yet.

LNCronan I like your scenario and agree with it. I think Monica is pivotal in how and why Nathan opened his hotel room door. I think Monica is stronger than we think. Having Stanton on her side and knowing just how much Gideon love Eva and wants to protect her for Nathan makes her stronger. Although I agree with MicheleWV I wondered if the photos are of Eva in NYC and Nathan was just showing thy he hd his eye on Eva and knew where she was. Gideon would worry about Eva safety. We are all presuming that these photos are of Eva younger and possibly in compromising situation .

I believe Monica did it with the help of Gideon .

It's good to speculate and think wo else could have killed Nathan I mentioned before that I thought Gideon was in cahoots with Monica . Nathan opened the door of the hotel room which I doubt he would have done if it was Gideon at the other side when he would have checked the peep hole. I believe that Gideon took the opportunity to help Monica it was his hotel he would have known about the CCTV being down. He would know the quickest way to get out . I think Monica did the deed but Gideon was the clean up guy. He'd started to pull away from Eva publicly after Cary's attack i wonder if he was possibly hoping that if Nathan thought they had split then he'd back off . But something else must have happened Monica wanting to take action. Both of them had. Chat at the hospital on Monday while Eva freshened up and poke with Cary . What did thy talk about?

I've never thought about the fact it could have been him. That's a curved ball thrown in for us to debate. Maybe when Gideon went to Stanton about Nathan he (stanton) got intouch with Mr Barker for Nathan's whereabouts Nathan was dead to him and maybe he thought he'd do the job for real. Thinking he wouldn't be a suspect if Stanton and Gideon we looking for Nathan .

My theory is like KiMa Victor isn't as clueless as we think .and I think his visit has significance as to its timing Ok GiGi I see where your coming from that Victor would carry out Nathan murder alone. I think Victor already knows about Eva being raped by Nathan I think he's known about it since it all came out. But I think he wanted Eva to tell him herself but understood why a daughter wouldn't want to discuss it with him. I think Victor loves Monica and if he did know he would have seen that as soon as she knew she got her and Eva out of the situation. It mirrored what Monica did when she fell pregnant with Eva she left the money of her family to carry on and have Eva doing what she felt was right. Monica left multi millionaire Mr Barker leaving monetary security that she felt she had to have , but doing what was right for her daughter ment leaving that ok she came out of that marriage with financial gain but that would give her lasting security . I'm hoping that in EWY we will find out more about Victor.

In bared to you at chapter 6 we find out that for four years Eva and her dad lived close enough to see each other at least once a week. Something that Victor said to Eva made me think about the views of personal safety . " some nights I wake up in a cold sweat thinking about you in New York . I get through it by telling myself you're too smart to take chances, thanks to two parents who've drilled safety rules into your DNA" Evas Safety was obviously just as important to victor as it was Monica . Do we think victor investigated why Monica left Nathan's dad and why Eva had gone wild. Victor loves his daughter could he be in cahoots with Gideon Stanton and Monica to rid the world of Nathan Barker. When Monica saw Nathan at the crossfire on the Monday after Vegas did she and Stanton go to Gideon to ask what was happening ? Did Gideon tell him that he had seen Nathan the Thursday before Vegas the Thursday they went to dr Peterson as a couple for the first time. Did Gideon tell them that victor was going to visit did they then feel hat he needed to know and his expertise and police knowledge be used in getting Nathan out of Eva's life forever?

We don't know what the photos Nathan had of Eva that he showed to Gideon . It could simple have been to love he was stalking her. I'm on the Monica killing Nathan and Gideon turning up to do it and its done. He the carries out the tidying up. Maybe he leaves the photos and other things that would point the police to think that Nathan was stalking Eva . I'm interested in finding out more about Victor and if he will help out so Eva and Gideon can be happy together.

I think Monica didn't tell Eva about Nathan being in NY to protect her daughter . She didn't want to worry Eva about Nathan's presents . Monica couldn't protect Eva from Nathan when she didn't know about the abuse. But now Monica saw how Eva was in a relationship with Gideon a suitable man of means for her daughter . She didn't want Nathan to harm that.

Hi GiGi I agree with you I think Monica and Gideon are in cahoots . That Monday in the hospital Eva leaves her mother and Gideon while she returns to Cary's room and freshen up . Her and cary chat before Gideon comes in to Eva saying " If Gideon’s touched anything but his hand or me, we’d be over.†There was plenty of time for him and Monica to speak. I think Monica saying something like it could have been Eva attacked rather than Cary . Pleading with him to find out who it was that attacked Cary . Asking him where Nathan was and what he planed to do about him. I am of the opinion that Monica killed Nathan but with help from Clancy and Gideon . Crime of a mother wanting justice for her daughter protecting her like she couldn't before . She didn't know about Nathan raping Eva when she was younger until the miscarriage . But now she could she knew Nathan was in NY and that Eva didn't know he was there. Monica killing Nathan makes me think that victor will help her out and in turn he will help Gideon out for being part of it. Victors going to be angry when he finds out about the rape of his only child but the detective in him and his love of Monica will make sure that neither she or Gideon will go to prison for killing Nathan . The 4th June can't come soon enough to see where this story goes. I do love that Sylvia has shown us the book cover and even the inside of EWY along with the various snippets from the book.. But a nice long snippet with other characters in it would be good for us !!!

I'm throwing this into the mix. Been re reading RIY yet again and something made me start questioning things. Monday morning in the hospital, what do Monica and Gideon talk about ? I'm sure it's more than Monica giving him into trouble for taking Eva away with no way of contacting anyone, Could it be about Nathan ?

I think that Vidal Sr kept Gideon as Gideon cross to distance himself from the boy. Or wanted him to always be identified as a Cross, the son that would pay for his fathers mistakes. He had no attachment to this boy. His priority was his trophy wife and her producing an heir for him and children of his own. What I do find strange is that Gideon has the controlling share in Vidal music . Why not Christopher Jr he is Vidal s heir ? If Vidal Sr was in financial difficulties would he really want his step son to bail him out?
