I don't think the baker household staff were blind I think they were afraid of Nathan . Nathan certainly has mental health issues along with his sexual abusing issues . I wonder if Eva had been the first step sister he'd raped had there been others and had staff told before and nothing had been done maybe staff had been sacked and the remaining staff didn't want to lose their job. Not the right attitude but an option to why they didn't speak out .

It's interesting now that we know Gideon killed Nathan how will Sylvia deal with it . How will our hero is get away with murder? Will it be a crime of passion protection and have the cops really dropped the case. Will victor step up and help Gideon for Eva's benefit seeing that they're both ment to be together

I'm disappointed to hear that Gideon killed Nathan I was hoping for a twist and it to have been someone else with a little help from Gideon . But I am looking forward to reading how Sylvia deals with it. How will Gideon not go down for murder ? Because Eva and Gideon need to be together .

Julie54 it's all to do with when our book stores re stock shelves. I asked Sylvia this on twitter cause I thought one of the reasons the release date had been changed was so everywhere got it at the same time. But thankfully it doesn't affect e books you'll be able to read EWY on your kindle or electronic tablet.

I agree I don't want the investigation of Nathan's murder to take up all of the book. It's a romance not a thriller crime story. We want to see Eva and Gideon's relationship un fold as they learn more about each other The other character that I'd like to see more of are Ireland , Victor , arnaldo , Cary and Trey along .with Corrine Brett Christopher Vidal jr a d sr a little too

I like your thinking . If they're sneaking around then I wonder if Raul one of Gideon's drivers could double up as Gideon . Making the cops think that the person getting out of the bently or limo is Mr Cross. Allowing the real Mr Cross to go to Eva

That's what I was thinking that it could be in line with snippet #5 Yes let's have a proposal , Eva and Gideon are meant to be together . In BTY when Gideon gave Eva the promise ring he said that its not that ring your not ready for that. Then in RIY Monica says he's going to marry you and then in the car Eva says I'm going to marry you. So is inevitable that they get married !

Welcome jeanmarie ! You make an interesting point but not one I agree with. Christopher jr was at least 5 years younger than Gideon . I see where your coming from though, the sibling rivalry that is there Gideon talks about his brother how over the years he's tried everything throwing money at Christopher jr he'd tried theatening him but he showed no inclination to changing would he want to throw money at his abuser. Then also would Christopher jr abuse Ireland would Gideon want to leave her in that situation ? Then when Gideon tells Eva about his abuse he says this about his abuser He said it was my age … hormones … I needed to and I’d be calmer. Less angry all the time. He touched me, said he’d show me how to do it right. That I was doing it wrong" Would a 5 year old really understand hormones etc?

I'm thinking that it could be Angus . The detective tells Eva cross doesn't hire the job out but Angus wouldn't be hired out. Also Angus would never betray Gideon . I'm for it being a wild card character that kills Nathan . It's a romance story not a crime thriller the little time as possible being spent on Nathan death is good for me!

LN Cronan I'm liking your thinking . I want entwined to concentrate on Eva and Gideon's relationship and not Nathan So Brett being in chapter 4 sounds good to me. And Cary being the minx by not telling Eva the full interview from Brett in Florida sounds right !

The papperazzi only need to put two and two together Eva int a common name. She goes out for lunch with him. Someone at the concert not necessarily Brett or the band members(a groupie or stage hand ) could spill to the press about the fight with Gideon and Brett . I think if questioned about Eva being the girl in golden I think that he would say.
