Someone else had posted their thought that maybe Gideon was worried about her moving on also b/c of the interview Brett had given that Cary showed Eva. Saying that he wanted to try and reconnect w/ her. I think that couldv'e been another reason why he gave her back her ring. I wonder how Gideon found out Eva spoke to his mother? Did Elizabeth call him and tell him...asking what he's said to her? Or Christopher mabye saw how upset he was after speaking to Eva, maybe?

I think that Gideon started his search for Nathan as soon as Eva told him what he did. He went to Stanton the next day for info. He probably got what he needed to start his search. The pics of Gideon and Eva probably lured him to NY...for sure...if he wasn't there already.. Maybe he had a google alert set for Eva as well...  If anyone on Gideon's team knew that Cary was beaten that night, they def had a way of letting Gideon know. He had his cell w/ thim for the whole 10 hour ride to NC..Eva's was at her apartment...but I'm sure the driver had one...and Angus before him. Also, I think that Gideon did have clothes at the house for Eva..he just didn't let her have them until they left...lol..I mean, he had all her usual cosmetics there..he had to have clothes! Even for himself lol...and they probably flew back b/c that was the plan orginaly going down. I don't think that Nathan set out to kill Cary...just beat him and givee him the warning to 'stay away from her'...  I feel Christopher will def be a problem in EWY... Gonna put the Krav Maga to use!  What about Brett? A problem ,or just sad that he wants to try again w/ her. I kinda feel bad for him...although she told him straight out that they weren't going to happen, but Sylvia said he'll be back. Maybe Eva will play matchmaker w/ him and Magdalena! lol...  Just my random thoughts...

I agree with that. I think it was just in public. Maybe he's trying to help her meet someone new! lol. No way he would lead her on...especially b/c he doesn't want her, he only wants Eva.

Lol...I agree with you Jo_mama.   I also think that Corrine def just mussed herself up right before she stepped out of the Crossfire when she saw Eva. A woman who is always put together so well as she is, wouldn't let herself be seen w/ smeared makeup/lipstick and messed up hair. I'm sure she always looks perfect. So, that was def for Eva b/c i'm sure she went ot speak to Gideon but got turned away.

Let's not forget that Raul was there to pick up Eva at 4:45am...maybe that was just a little too early for Angus! Hehe I like Angus too...I def think he's a big important part in Gideon's life...and now will be for Eva too. I don't think that Gideon has said much of anything to Corrine...probably the bare minimum. I hope that their only interactions are public ones...although that day at the Crossfire when Eva saw them outside annoys me..lol..Prob just for the security cameras ... They probably haven't had any alone time. It still get's me that Corrine was trying to make like Gideon was in her apartment when Eva went to see her...She blew that though when she asked Eva if Gideon knew that she was there...so, obviously Gideon wasn't. Â I love reading everyones opinions on here...even though i want to stop coming on this site b/c June is so far away! Even the snippets are a bit of torture!

 Wow LN Cronan, you've done your homework! Lol. I'd think that Nathan was outside of the Crossfire the second time b/c Gideon would have told security to not let him in again. Maybe to see Eva b.c Gideon and Stanton weren't giving in to his demands. Could you imagine if Eva ran into him in an elevator? I'm sure Gideon wouldn't want that to happen. Eva never follows up on the video again after asking Gideon about it. Wonder why? She just forgot? Also, is it a coincidence that Gideon took Corrine to Tableau One that Mon to be photographed? Is it b/c he hasn't spoken to Arnoldo since that Fri. and maybe he needs him to think that he and Eva are over too? B/c of all the places to take her, he takes her to his friend’s restaurant after all that mess after the concert. Â

No, haven't read " The Marriage Bargin'. Not so great? I just read another book 'Collide'...that of course...is a series w/ the sequal not to be released until May...lol...I really don't know why I do this to myself. I guess I'm looking for another good book, it's got a lot of great reviews...and I've gotta read em! Also, books for $3.99 or less on Kindle is great too.  Still dying for June for this release. Just hope the 4th book comes out shortly after...You think that she's done w/ book 4 considering book 3 was supposed to be out in Dec?

I don't think it was Monica. She probably could have done it, but Gideon pretty much admitted that he did it in the NYE excerpt from his POV. Then Eva saying that he's got 'proverbial blood on his hands'.  I just wanted to mention a book I've just read that I thought was pretty good. Beauty from Pain by Georgia Cates. It's got the Hottie multibillion/millionare, young beautiful girl he makes an offer to she can't refuse. IT was $3.99 on Amazon Kindle. Good story,quick read. only thing is that's its a series too...w/ the second book not being released until May Darn these series! Why can't they all just be released shortly after the other! lol. I really hope the wait for the 4th Crossfire book isn't going to be ridiculous.

Omg...Sylvia keeps saying that 'There's more story to tell' when anyone asks if there's going to be a fourth book. I really hope that they aren't released too far apart if that's true. Waiting is torture to find out what's happened lol

That's a good thought Teresac. I thought the pics and video were of Eva while Nathan was abusing her. But you're right, mabye they are from her behaving badly days. Victor def is going to figure out what happened, cop or not, he's her father and as a parent, you want to know why your child reacted the way she did. I could see a blow-up w/ Victor and Monica b/c she kept that info from him.

I know that cops don't really get to choose what happens in open cases....but they could just not do anything about it. Let it go cold.If the only person who cared about Nathan was his father, and he considered him dead years ago, there's no one really to answer to. no one to really push the case. I think Syliva has already said that is is Nathan at the office that day. I hope they have a happy ending  I wonderif the book is already done, just can not be released for some reason. She's got all of these snippets. I like the NYE snippet from Gideons POV too..It's nice to see what he's thinking.
