  1. I mean does Terry Lucas not have any ba!!s? How could he still be married to this woman ? He is a doctor after all he could probablyget a new woman with no problem ... Anne obviously isn't satisfied in the bedroom because she's constantly hitting it with younger hot men like Gideon and now Cary ... You have to wonder why he hasn't kicked her to the curb long ago unless she has something on him that she's holding over his head such as the Gideon incident...

I never thought of that - I wonder if she has something over his head.

  2. It just occurred to me that as soon as Corrine becomes medically stable enough to leave intensive care, she'll possibly (I say probably) be transferred to psychiatric inpatient care. If it's true Dr. Anne Lucas was feeding her inappropriate types and/or dosages of anti-depressants -- to a pregnant patient no less -- then Lucas is likely going to end up in serious trouble.

Because she'll be coming under the care of a new psychiatrist during her inpatient stay, one who almost certainly is going to go over Corrine's recent history.

Major medical practice suit is one possibility, as might be actions concerning Anne's medical license.

I'll bet Anne wasn't counting on Corrine surviving.

    That's definitely true

  3. Hi Donnad,

That was one of the songs played in the movie "Footloose" and I mean the 1984 version.  Am I dating myself too?  Either way, I think it is a beautiful song. The lyrics seem to really suit how Gideon feels about Eva.  Do you know what I mean?

    We are definitely dating ourselves.

  4. You know what I'm struggling with? Why all of a sudden Elizabeth thinks Eva is to blame and she said to her "I won't let you take him away from me?!"

It was clear from the get go that Gideon and his mums relationship was strained to say the least, to be honest with his whole family!! Why is she suddenly pushing the blame onto Eva, I don't think Gideon acted any different to his mum before and after he met Eva! Is it purely cos Eva called her out on the abuse?!

I'm sure Elizabeth is trying to blame everybody but herself.

  5. About Ponzi scheme - being a victim and the sister of a Ponzi schemer - they sell off what the Ponzi scheme made money off of - they sold the 2 house and 3 condos and sold off most of the contents - basically things that are the most expensive too.  Of course, trying the filter out where all the money went - they even go as far as contacting the places they donate too.  For eg - if they donated to the American Cancer Society - they will contact them to try to get the money back.

  6. Hi Kirsten,

I read your posting and I was wondering; what makes you think that Gideon will allow Eva to travel to San Diego without him (even if Cary is in tow)?  I can understand Gideon’s potential concerns prior to Nathan’s death but what I wonder is Gideon is going to trust Eva and let her deal with Brett or could it be that Gideon allows Eva to go to SD under the guise of her going alone but he shadows her during the entire time?

I was wonder about the whole Russian Mob thing and I have to admit that whole scenario threw me for a loop.  I was wondering; do you have any ideas on that whole thing?  What do you think?  What does everyone think?

Gideon will let Eva go to SD as long as she agrees there will be security with her plus the fact that her dad is there.   I'm sure there will be an argument about it but she will only go with Carey.

  7. Hi Rogue,

I agree with your assessment.  Too much has happened between Gideon and Corinne to maintain a friendship, even just a casual one.  In this situation, it is best to let sleeping dogs lie.

As far as the Corinne seeing Anne, I have to agree with you.  That entire scenario would just be far too convenient for me to swallow as well.  I don’t think that Anne was her doctor or was the one treating her.  You are also correct in that the prescription would have the name of the doctor on Corinne’s bottle.  I don’t doubt for one minute that Gideon would have looked at what Corinne was taking, given her increasingly erratic behaviour.  Gideon has been far too shrewd and involved to just suddenly drop the ball.

I have a feeling that we may all be really surprised about how this entire Corinne/medications/psychiatrist storyline plays out.  I have a feeling we may all be thrown for a loop.  What do you think?  What does everyone think?

I was also thinking maybe the doctor that Corinne was seeing was the 1st doctor who checked Gideon out.   What does everyone think about that?

  8. Hi Everyone,

I also thought about "Waiting for a Girl Like You"  by Foreigner.

"Waiting For A Girl Like You"

    So long

I've been looking too hard, I've waiting too long

Sometimes I don't know what I will find

I only know it's a matter of time

    When you love someone

    When you love someone

It feels so right, so warm and true

I need to know if you feel it too

    Maybe I'm wrong

Won't you tell me if I'm coming on too strong?

This heart of mine has been hurt before

This time I wanna be sure

I've been waiting for a girl like you

    To come into my life

I've been waiting for a girl like you

    A love that will survive

I've been waiting for someone new

    To make me feel alive

Yeah, waiting for a girl like you

    To come into my life

    You're so good

When we make love it's understood

It's more than a touch or a word we say

Only in dreams could it be this way

    When you love someone

    Yeah, really love someone

    Now, I know it's right

From the moment I wake up till deep in the night

There's no where on earth that I'd rather be

    Than holding you, tenderly

I've been waiting for a girl like you

    To come into my life

I've been waiting for a girl like you

And a love that will survive

I've been waiting for someone new

    To make me feel alive

Yeah, waiting for a girl like you

    To come into my life

I've been waiting, waiting for you, ooh

    Ooh, I've been waiting

    I've been waiting, yeah

I've been waiting for a girl like you

    I've been waiting

Won't you come into my life?

    My life?

I feel like I'm back in high school. I think that might have been my junior prom song

  9. Hi Kirsten,

I am lost here.  Could you please explain?  How could an engagement ring be part of ponzi scheme?  Wouldn't the authorities have to prove that ring was purchased with ill gotten gains?

The government sells assets to try to regain as much as possible. She's wondering if the ring was sold and then Gideon bought it years later.

  10. According to my friend at a meet and greet the other day Sylvia said that we won't have Gideon on TV until all the books are out, so there is a deadline on when these books have to be released by I would imagine.

I asked her that in Paramus. Liongate wants to start but they can't until after the books are out

  11. I think that Eva is getting stronger every day and I think her actions are proving that.  I also think that it is a good thing that she and Cary are going to San Diego for the weekend.  She realizes that she needs to talk to someone that she can trust.  She hasn't been reacting impulsively or rashly.  When she has become upset, she steps back and takes the time to calm down and then she tackles the problem instead of lashing out.  I think those are all really good signs that her self esteem is well on the way to mending.  What do you think?  What does everyone think?

I can't wait for the scenes with dr Travis

  12. I think back to what Gideon told Eva in North Carolina .... after he'd been with Anne Lucas, no matter how long he showered, he couldn't feel clean. She must have been manipulating his mind even while he was using her.

I think it's obvious she bought the lie that wedding bells were in the future for Gideon and Corrine .... but I wondered whether she had been messing with Corrine's mind during those weeks when Corrine was convinced she and Gideon were dating again but at the same time Corrine incredibly frustrated by mixed messages -- why wouldn't Gideon sleep with her?

Once Gideon dumped Corrine, Corrine would have been putty in Anne's hands. Anne would not have known yet have known about Eva, but Anne likely could have thought to herself something like this -- further proof Gideon Cross is a cold-hearted jerk when it comes to women, he dumped Corrine like he dumped me, but now I have a chance to really get back at him if I can drive Corrine to kill herself over him. With his background, his father a suicide, something like this actually would get under his cold skin. Plus he'd be publicly shamed for having shattered Corrine.

Agree that Eva needs to watch her back now. Fortunately for Eva, she knows a great deal more about the truth than Anne could ever suspect.

Also (we r assuming it was Ann) she said that 2 girls went into depression because of him. We definitely know one was Corinne. Was the other woman her
