Let me start of by saying that I Loved the prenup. I hate a couple of things that happened in the book but after reading a couple of the comments, I feel better.

I thought that was very rude of the way that Elizabeth treated Eva & can't wait to see how Eva restores the relationship between her & Gideon our if it's even possible.

I don't think that baby is Cary's!

I hate that Corinne still has so much power over Gideon & he should have not been called to the hospital. (I thought was going to turn our to be his).

What's the deal with Megumi?

Anne Lucas, Denna & Corinne all need to get lost (I think they all will cause more problems for the couple in the next book).

Monica needs to tell Eva what's really going on with her & why she's so concerned with money. (Maybe she's the connection with the mob). Think about it!

In the last RIY spoiler the question was asked what was Gideon whispering to Eva the couple of times when she heard him speak hoaresly. Sylvia Day said it was a EWY spoiler but it was not answered in EWY so was it that he was saying "I Love You" then?

I Loved the book, wanted more & hope that we don't have to wait long for the next book!

No way they can be friends. I see Gideon going with them to SD. Brett is not giving up. But maybe the "I'm engaged" will make him see he doesn't have a chance.

 

Once Brett knows she's engaged with Gideon, he will back off.   We have to remember he thought that Gideon was back with Corinne too.   I can' wait for Cary's and Eva's conversations with Dr. Travis.

Favorite of this chapter is when he told her "You opened this door WE'RE walking thorough it..! (together)

 

I like that quote too and she also noticed that Gideon was leaner.   She knew the "break up" affected him too.

Did Monica have to become a high class escort to get money when she became pregnant? Is Victor really Eva's father?

 

Victor is the father.   She didn't get thrown out of the house until after the pregnancy.

OK, I tried really hard not to mention this (I was kinda hoping someone else would acknowledge it) because I got the impression from everyone on the board that it would have been so implausible and there is so much else to delve into so I dropped it.  I think I said (before the release of the book) in another thread that I would love for book 4 to include a wedding and all the drama that goes with that for Eva and Gideon.

 

Everyone else was saying there is so much else to deal with first a wedding would be so far from the plot. Imagine my surprise when I saw that in EWY.

 

I know I'm new here but I feel like I'm coming off wrong on this board, lol.  (or maybe its just me).  I think it's safer for me to go back into lurk mode.  I feel like I'm ruffling feathers for thinking too much out of the box.

 

I am enjoying reading the discussion; however, so keep those up.

 

I also believe the "big" wedding will happen in book 4 and we know there will be drama.   Don't lurk and just give us your theories.

Yep, Gideon already had a couch in that corner office -- ready made to nail Eva on. He really does like getting Eva underneath himself on an office couch, he does.

SD - I hope book 4 we will find out why Monica is hooked on money.   When her parents threw her out of the house, did she have know where to go and was "on the streets".

I cried all along, just like I did at my sister's wedding!

 

I cried at both my brothers wedding and was of course all smiles at mine.   A lot of guests had said I've never seen such a happier bride.

I could understand what the ring met to Gideon but I would have wanted a new ring too.   Elizabeth is toxic.

I think all of the theories about Clancy handling the "Nathan" situation are correct. I think he felt like he screwed up by not protecting Cary so he was probably thinking of taking care of Nathan himself.

 

Also, Clancy did say to her "I had to make sure Nathan was dead".

 

I want to add about Anne... WTF is up with her try to get to Cary. I understand the why, but what kind of marriage do her and Dr. Terry have? Who would accept this type of behavior from their spouse? Why stay together?

 

Who is Michael? Why is Megumi suddenly "sick"

 

I'm wondering if Michael is actually Chris Jr.  He could easily lie about his name.   I'm curious about Megumi being sick too.   Even though we might be reading more into her being sick.  She could actually be sick.

Hello from ob gyn world...I could tell you stories about patients who couldn't imagine they were pregnant until at least the baby started moving, which for first time mothers is usually about 21-22 weeks (5 months),,,I try not to watch TV where the women didn't know they were pregnant the entire time, pretty hard to believe...and I know that in many of these cases denial is a strong tool...

 

and for heavy women you don't necessarily show at 4 months, but thin women usually you can tell a little something but I have many patients that dress cleverly if they are not "out in their pregnancy"(many women wait till the anatomy scan to say that the kid is ok before they go public), but clearly the women all know themselves,,,and in this day of ultrasound very few women get by without knowing they are pregnant very early on,

 

sometimes I get a lady who just missed her period for a day or two and wants me to assure her that the baby is ok and she is pregnant,,,and I laugh and ask them "What are you 2 hours pregnant"?

 

She was in real denial mode and also, I have a feeling she knew she was pregnant.   I actually felt Jamie earlier than 5 months.   She was a kicker then and now.  LOL

I think Eva feels bad for Brett and the way she has led him on and yes she needs to nip it in the butt herself and hopefully in SD she can do that with Cary being there, I don't think she should see him alone.  Maybe Gideon will put security detail on her again to keep her safe.

 

I think the Tableau One was so Gideon knew where they were and that Arnaldo would look out for her in case she needed him and I did not get the impression in the book that Gideon was angry she was going to dinner with Brett and was pleased she picked somewhere he owned to be closer to him and to give him the respect of knowing where she was.

 

she purposely picked Tableau One too.   Even though Gideon did not show up but Arnoldo was there practically the whole time at the dinner.  Arnoldo also noticed Eva did not eat much and we all know Eva loves to eat.  

 

If Gideon doesn't go to San Diego, there will definitely be a tail on her there.

Broke my heart when Gideon said that at times he couldn't stand being by himself. Wondering what he would do if not have s*x with whoever he brought to the f#*k pad.

So focusing on someone else I think thats where all the toys came as he didn't wanna use his TOOL.

Good Morning Girls (at least in NY)

 

There was about a 150-175 in attendance.   I'm trying to remember because I'm very tired from rereading into 4:00 this morning and need to hit the gym.  I didn't take notes.

 

The TV series will come out after the 2 books.   The 2 books will be out within the year.   She's still in writing book 4 (which we knew).   She said she wrote Reflected in You in 6 weeks but between editing and everything else with publishing it takes up to about 5 months.   She was very personable person.  About Elizabeth Vidal - she knows a few woman just like her and doesn't agree with her methods.   We will find out in the next book why Monica is so hung up on money.   She named quite a few of her favorite authors but since I didn't take notes I don't remember who they were.   Also I mentioned about what the title of book 4 was and she said she didn't know yet.   Then I informed we had a list on the website.  I started reading them off and they all started laughing with Demonizing You.   She said that one won't be used because the title insinuates something else.  She did say send the list of our titles.   At the beginning she use to write 2 books at a time but that was too much and only writes one book at a time.  I know there's more but got get this but to the gym.   All 3 books were signed too and also a picture was taken.

At the book signing in Paramus. I'm up to chapter 22.
