Hi LN Gedeon might have not used his master key, if he was meeting Nathan under the pretence of being willing to pay for those pics of Eva's.

Just another thought!! Â Eva says: "I needed to ask Gideon - with the hope that he was as clueless as I was." Â This statement has me thinking Eva wants to believe Gideon is not further involved, but doesn't put it past him. She needs to hear from Gideon himself that he has nothing to do with the Russian mob, which he promptly does. Â And we're all sighing with relief here!!!

Swooning.......drooling....... fanning...... I've never appreciated my being multitasking like I do know!!!!

After the 4th rereading, Chap. 14 still gives me the creeps. What with Graves + Michna still pestering around, plus Gideon isn't calling Eva back (grrrr), and on top of all that DDeanna and her forked tongue.  The fact that Detective Michna says Yedemsky possibly got those photos of Eva's from Nathan makes me think 1. they know for certain he didn'd 2 they also already suspect who might have planted both the pics and the bracelet.  Whoever is helping Gideon, I don't think he's foe. I'm still debating the point in shifting the case from the local police to the FBI..... and the only thing I've come up with is this mystery man can manage things from the inside.  I have another pick from this chapter! "The thought of him tormented by his own mind, alone and in pain, wounded me". Which, with Henry in the back of my mind, is even more hurting!!!! ps. get into the line, sister!!!

Hi GiGi thank you for sharing those painful memories. My eyes have got all shiny and my contacts are swimming around in their little lifesavers!!!! Heaven would know no harsher fury than an aunt (that's me!) knowing something like that going on. I can't really fathom the lengths I'd go to see everyone involved publicly exposed.... and when I say everyone I mean even those who suspected something but didn't have enquire further. I wonder when we will ever get rid of such a threat to our children.

Good evening LN Some of Corinne's marbles must have gone missing at that time. Could she possibly think she would be able to pass off the baby as Gideon's? She was already 4 months pregnant.... She would give birth a fully formed new-born baby (9-month old) who is supposedly only 5-month old..... I'm not much of an expert in the new-born-babies department, but I've seen my share and wouldn't buy it, not for love or money!!!

Well, nuzziing Gandy's throat was my knee-jerk reaction to him.... Perhaps it works for some of us ladies....as for hair colouring, I'm still debating Gideon's routine with the brunettes, can you imagine? I really hope SD will tell us what the deal is with both these notorious puzzles!!

I also have a really bad feeling about both Martin and Michael. Both of them are linked to Megumi and Lacey.... IDK, perhaps I've watched too many CSIs!!!
