Is the g in Magdalene pronounced?

. I agree with you a hundred percent. I don't think he is looking for the traditional D/S relationship. I believe he is a dominating man, but he wants Eva to feel safe in the relationship.

Since we are discussing pronunciation of names, does anyone know how we are supposed to pronounce Magdalene? I've wondered this since is first started reading the stories and it kills me every time I come across her name. Thanks for any help with this.

What about the room in Gideon's house that is an exact replica of Eva's? Â Do you think he would have to get rid of that room? Â If they get a search warrant, they may get one for Eva's house also. Â That would look very incriminating of the fact that they are truly a couple, or Gideon is a real wacko and stalker. Â Why else would he have a room that is an exact replica of Eva's. Â Some food for thought.

I agree. I guess he really never knew how to treat a girlfriend and couldn't out himself in her shoes. Maybe the kiss she gave Brett was the best thing in their relationship. It showed him how it feels to not be made a priority. I am so excited to see how Sylvia is going to write the rest of the book I regards to how Eva and Gideon interact with each other in the future. He still seems to want to skirt by certain topics and act like they aren't an issue. He didn't really give Eva a good answer when she asked him where they stand now.

He is clueless. Someone needs to knock some sense onto him. I guess we don't really know at which point he started truly thinking about protecting Eva, but I don't think he was too concerned about Nathan at the dinner that Corinne showed up to. He should have never given Corinne that much attention that night. I guess he let some form of guilt control his actions and he didn't realize how hurtful it was to Eva.

They still should have said something to Eva, along the lines that so done was waiting to speak with her.

That scene in RIY upset me so much. I don't understand why Gideon acts the way he does toward Eva when they are out in public. Now unfortunately,they probably will have little opportunity to spend time together in public so Gideon can prove to her that she is priority in public as well as in private.

One of the snippets Sylvia posted is Gideon's POV. It didn't give us any indication that he felt he was being cruel to her. It did give the impression that he was worried that Eva didn't want to have anything to do with him in the future. I don't know if he realizes how cruel he has been with Eva. I don't know if he understands that his actions are truly devastating Eva.

I believe that's the only reason Gideon forbid Eva staying in New York when he was going to Arizona. He already knew the danger Eva was in.

I wonder if she is trying to break-up Eva and Gideon, or if she believes that Eva has already been sent to the discard pile. She seems to have a vendetta out for Gideon. She doesn't seem like someone I would want to get to know.

I think you are right, but the way Cary stirs the pot makes me nervous sometimes. He has caused a couple of problems with his pot stirring and I don't understand why he would do that.

Wow. Now that I retread this, it is amazing how much their thoughts about one another are the same. Neither of them realize how special they are. Gideon can't understand why Eva wants him and Eva can't understand why Gideon wants her. They are so made for one another. It would be great to have more chapters from Gideon's point of view!!

I don't think the reporter has any idea about the murder and Gideon's possible connection to it. I think she is out to do a story about Gideon. Probably, just a gossip type story. What do you all think?
