 I thought it was a bad sign when Mark was called to the boss' office too but when Eva came back from the weekend trip Mark was asking for information for his honeymoon. I thought it was just to talk about the accounts. However, after Eva introduced Gideon as her fiance at the dinner I thought this was going to set up Mark getting fired and Eva getting offered his position. I think that will make her angry and then she will go to work for Gideon. I also think she will talk Gideon into taking Mark on as her boss and/or in a better position then he had.

I just wanted to make a comment about releasing the wedding photos. Even if Deanne get a copy that isn't going to take anything away from the beauty of the event for Eva and Gideon. They are just pictures, the love is the personal part. I'm sure Eva will understand that Gideon needed to get as much information from Deanna as possible to protect his wife.

 Oh no I hope not besides that would take the story down a most bizarre path. I guess the good thing is it would take the Crossfire series into more than 5 books. No 6 would be Eva meeting her new sibling.

 I agree. That is why the therapy is for Eva at least as much as it is for Gideon.

 I think Gideon was in contact with the staff and knew that Eva wasn't home yet. He also knew she had her Krav Maga class and Clancy would take her home at some point. He said he went to his penthouse to keep up the perception that he was living there so he probably thought it was a good time to stop in and keep up appearances.

 LOL. It is a good possibility but I'm not sure at this point. I will say I was wrong more than I was right about what was going to happen in EWY so I'm not a very good judge of what will happen next. Of course I'm sure that they will have a HEA but that is only because Sylvia said so.

 I don't want Victor with Monica either. I want Victor to find a new woman who can love him for who he is. Shelly will always have doubts and/or questions about Gideon and that will impact her relationship with Eva. I can't see where that will be good for Victor, a man who loves his daughter so much.

 I think he was doing it for Eva too. He always knew he was going to try to win Eva back and he wants to be everything she needs. Getting help from Dr. Petersen was part of his plan to heal his past for Eva. Gideon said before he met Eva he thought he was happy and the fact that he couldn't spend the night with women didn't bother him. (I think that was in RIY.)Â

 I don't want Victor to end up with Shelly. That would put Victor in a bad position keeping secrets from either his daughter or his wife.

 GiGi  You are probably right. That is probably what Gideon whispered in Deanna's ear at the dinner...contact so and so in the Caribbean and you will find the marriage license & picture. You have 48 hours.

    OMG I can't believe how many grammar & spelling errors I have on my posts. It makes me crazy and the nuns that taught me are probably turning over in their graves.

 GiGi  I don't think Victor is the kind of man who would give a woman scraps. I think he has this unrealistic view of Monica in his mind and recent events allow him to see her as a flawed human like the rest of us. If he can take the rose colored glasses off he can appreciate, and accept, what other women have to offer. I think we give a part of our heart to a lot of people, parents, children, family, friends, etc. I don't think that holds us back from giving our love to someone who will make us happy.

 I'm not sure but I think that when the police put people under surveillance that doesn't necessarily mean that they are watched 24/7. In this case it sounds like a group of people are watched. My guess is they spent most of their time watching the "top" guy and that is how they caught the murder. I think the guy the bracelet was found on was a "small fish" member.

 She is beautiful but it would be hard to pass her off as petite.Â
