 I agree but I really can't see Eva or Gideon giving up what they have for a roll in the hay with someone else. I hate when I really like a character and they take that path. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I recently read a book where the main character got drunk and ended up in bed, but never did anything, with a guy. I just couldn't cheer for her anymore.

 Sylvia said Monica's secret is addressed in book 4.

 Oh wow now that gives me something to think about. It is a good way to put together some of the theories that were put forward here.

 I agree. The question for the next book is--Will these two decide to work on the marriage or will Corinne still be a problem for Eva & Gideon?

I checked out Raoul Bova and he will work as Arnoldo. I like him better with the longer hair, though.

I guess we don't have a title yet. I noticed Sylvia just arrived home from Australia late last night. She must have jet lag and needs to catch up on sleep.

 I don't like Arnoldo and Angus. I have to think about that a little more. Most of the others I can live with.

 I'm not a lawyer but I have listened to defense lawyers on TV. Almost every one of them say that they never ask "did you do it" or "are you innocent." They say that they don't want their client to lie to them and see the lie in their eyes. They prefer to do the research and develop a defense passed on their research not on their clients word.Â

 There is no way that I think Liz believes Gideon made up the abuse. She has convinced herself that he did and uses the doctors reports as evidence but she knows. She had to hear Gideon's nightmares and other indications.  She knows in her heart that she failed her son.

 I think Brett is a problem. When Eva interacts with Brett, either on the phone or in person, her mind takes her back to their steamy s*x life. It seems that she can't more on and that spells danger. I don't think their is any love there but Eva can't deal with Brett in a rational way because of their history and that spells danger in my opinion.

 I found several in depth studies in medical journals for the atypical s*xual parasomnia. Treating patients with violent parasomnia events have a high success rate when they are triggered by child sexual abuse. (It appears that they aren't very successful when parasomnia is a progression from sleep walking.) For the violent dreams like Gideon experiences it states that once drug & psychiatric intervention begin the nightmares are controlled relatively quickly. Patients are moved to just drug treatment in as little as six months to a year. Most patients in this category are advised to continue seeing a shrink to treat their abuse issues but even the patients that didn't continue followup conversations indicated that the patient doesn't have violent dreams that hurt their sleep partners even though they might experience some nightmares. That is prognosis good for our couple.Â

 I too think that the Giroux's will do some couples therapy and JFG will look at ways that he failed his wife and vice versa. At some point they will need to say their marriage is worth saving or it is time to call it quits. I hope they try to save it so Corinne will leave town but it wouldn't surprise me if they divorce. My hope is Gideon doesn't interact with the conniving diva anymore.   I agree that too much touching is a trigger for Eva. She didn't like it when Elizabeth did it at the garden party and she was definitely uncomfortable when Giroux was to friendly.

 I agree. If there is any interaction between JFG & Eva in the future it will most likely be a very angry war of words.

 I agree. I belong to a couple forums for my favorite TV shows but this is my favorite by far.         Â

 I agree. He seems to be a very proud man. He wouldn't even chase after his wife because she was chasing another man.Â

  You're right she was worried that Gideon was going to tell her it was over and she didn't want to face it.

 I really can't see JFG hitting on Eva but if he does it will be from a place of anger. It will only get him a slap in the face or Eva will call him an even bigger Asshat.Â

 I have a friend whose father gave her and her siblings $1 million for every grandchild. (I offered to let him have a couple of my kids as grandchildren but he didn't accept my offer.) She said he gave her mother $500,000 for every child. It wasn't really in a prenup but he just wanted her to understand that he loved her and appreciated the fact that she would give him these wonderful children. I think it is very sweet and loving. I feel the same way about Gideon.  I think he is just letting Eva know that having his children is very special to him.

 But that was fun. I learned a lot about priestess dresses on google but I understand. I usually get online during a break at work and post before I really read what I've written. It is embarrassing sometimes.
