 I'm hoping for October too because it is better than November of December.  I didn't think it was a cliff hanger either. It wouldn't bother me if it was but some fans were really upset.Â

 I love Matt Bomer. He is a great actor and would play Christian perfectly. He is tall, debonair and very emotional. The best quote in this article is  4. He can emote pain with a simple facial expression. Let's be real: Any actor can play a mysterious character with a stoic face. But playing a man in pain takes a lot of emoting and a different caliber of acting. As an actor, Matt Bomer does an excellent job emoting and one facial expression quickly reveals what he's filling. Given that Christian Grey is quiet and hard to read, the actor that plays him should be able to speak with expressions alone.  I don't get why people get hung up on his sexual preference. He is an actor when I watch him on White Collar I never think of him as anything but hot and sexy.  In my opinion he is the perfect Christian Grey. The producers of White Collar are excited that the fans want him for Christian so I don't think he will have any problems getting the time he needs.Â

 I know I felt better after Sylvia explained. I think Eva understands on some level that's why she wasn't too upset. I wish I had taken notes when she was talking to me but I thought that would be rude. It made so much sense and really made me look at some of Gideon's actions that made me crazy in the past differently.

 That's what I'm thinking. If Eva gets Gideon & Liz back together, I suspect Ireland & Elizabeth will smooth the way for Gideon & Christopher to have some kind of relationship. I don't think they will ever be best buds but Gideon reached out to Christoper in the past if mom & sis get on board it can only help.

 It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Sylvia didn't give any information about SD except her comments about the Brett dynamic. I think there is going to be a lot of activity.

 She didn't comment on anything like that. She did say that she has published work under most of the big 6 publishers so she moves around when necessary.

 Me too. I will buy every book she writes from now on. I'm not really into the paranormal but my daughter is. I told her I will get them for her to read.  That reminds me. Sylvia was talking about her writing methods and she said she can't write unless she is reading. She said if she is writing historical romance she reads current romance or paranormal. If she is writing paranormal she reads another genre. She said it helps her story come together.

 I think she is probably sleeping. She was working on Friday setting up for the the Saturday event. Saturday evening they were having something with 40 of the authors that sounded like a drinking get together. I'm not sure who was attending but if Sylvia was there I'll bet it was fun. There are a lot of friends among the romance authors and everyone I met was great. I talked to as many as I could (the people I read first). I was amazed how much fun they were. Shayla Black was there with her husband. He was a riot.   Maya Banks was fun too. I'm sure Kristen has some stories.

 Absolutely and it was obvious that Sylvia didn't like it at all.

  I know. Those of us at the Day after Dark event were going crazy rehashing everything Sylvia said. It was great. I was trying to record it but I didn't realize that my phone was out of juice. I know I'm missing something but I think I got most of the important things. She did spend time talking about her other series but I didn't include that information in these posts. If anyone gets the opportunity to attend an event that features Sylvia I highly recommend it. She is so generous with her time I was amazed how much she talked to me even if she wouldn't answer a question I posed. She always explained why she wouldn't answer.

I'm having a hard time reading my notes. I should have transcribed them when I returned to the hotel on Friday but I went out with a couple ladies and had a few drinks in downtown Kissimmee. As often as I go to Orlando/Kissimmee I've never been downtown. Some interesting little bars & restaurants.  Sylvia talked about the problems with the release of Entwined and how bad she felt about that. She said that will never happen again. Apparently the publisher was trying to appease the vendors many were upset because the prior books were released in the e-version first. Vendors were unhappy because they felt they lost a lot of paper sales. The publisher thought changing the date to June would make the vendors happy because June is a slow month for books. What actually happened was Walmart cancelled their order and Target reduced the order for Entwined. She said they had to eat crow because the book is so popular Target sold out and had to reorder and Walmart had to get books on their shelves because fans were asking for them.  Â

 What I took from Sylvia is that Gideon & Eva are solid...cheating will not happen.

I asked her about this forum and told her the women on here are great and fun to talk to. She agrees. She said she can't really come on very much because she doesn't want comments about future events to impact her writing because the story might not go where it should go but she likes reading comments after a book is release.  I had my Entwined book with me on Friday which has all my tabs that mark what I think correspond to the pictures and some of my favorite quotes. She said she loves seeing books marked like that. I told her we pick the books apart and study them like an assignment. She laughed. Â

 It is easy to tweet my problem is when I go over the 120 characters. My editing skills stink.

Oh I forgot. When we were talking about Gideon she mentioned that his name literally means "He who slays his enemies." She thinks that is very appropriate for the way Gideon handles things.  Sylvia also talked about the Crossfire babies. The woman sitting next to me at the Day after Dark event said she was pregnant after trying for sometime. She said she read "all the good parts" to her husband and now she is finally having a baby. Sylvia said she's heard a lot of those stories including Jill Redfield. Her husband is her manager and they worked on the audio book together. I guess they were inspired by the reading.  Â
