  1. Here are some great blue eyes. Â
  2. As I was reading through the posts just thought that Eva didn't have anyone to take a picture of her wedding. Even though they are going to have a big blow out, don't you think she would want a picture to remember the private event?
  3.  I love Matt Bomer and very sexy. I know they talked to White Collar producers to see if they would object to him playing Christian. He is 6' and looks great in a suit. I can see him playing either Christian or Gideon. Even though he is 35 he looks young enough to play Gideon, IMO.
  4. Just wanted to say welcome to all the new members. I'm relatively new to the forum too. It is a great place and I thoroughly enjoy talking to everyone about my favorite couple.   Well I have posted enough for the time being. I have to go do the weekend chores.Â
  5.  The more I think about I think Eva is in awe and hardly believes she is married. I occurred to me that maybe she is still trying to preserve that "intimate and deeply personal" feeling she had at the ceremony.   I agree. Eva is afraid but she knows deep down that marrying Gideon is what they both need, not only for the security but also to heal.Â
  6.  I agree also. Gideon wouldn't give the police another person to harass and his actions getting out. Â
  7.  We know he looked at one of the videos because he told Eva he admires that she fought Nathan. I think seeing the videos was the added kick that allowed Gideon to kill Nathan. He must replay that abuse in his mind and knows that if Nathan could do that once he could do it again.Â
  8.  I agree. Monica loves Victor; Eva saw it when Victor was visiting in RIY. I suspect they were arguing about Monica keeping Eva’s abuse from Victor. I further posit that Victor said some very mean things to Monica and hurt her. Monica most likely broke down crying, hysterically and trying to explain why. I believe that Monica is truly devastated and realizes that Eva’s abuse is her fault. I further believe that she told this to Victor who in turn, tried to comfort her and one thing led to another. It is possible (I hope) that seeing how that tryst hurt Eva will give Victor the impetus to examine his life and the torch he holds for Monica. It just might be what he needs to allow himself to let go and find a good woman he can be happy with even if he doesn't love her the same way he loves Monica.
  9. Â I like it. I prefer T.w.a.t for the new snake in the story.Â
  10.    I don't see Monica as an escort. She was presented in society so she has connections even if her parents disowned her. It is possible that is why she left NYC so she could rub elbows with the wealthy without running into her parents. It is possible that she was a mistress for a time, she is adamant with Eva not to move in with Gideon before marriage. I suspect Monica was burned with promises that only a young, desperate woman would believe. If she was a mistress she most likely got out of the relationship with her first millions and then moved on to Barker. A man who could give her wealth and access to "the right" people.  I do think she is happy with Stanton even if she isn't "in love" with him. I remember Eva talking to Cary and saying "I don't know why it never occurred to me to just find someone I can be happy with." Stanton gives Monica everything that she needs except for her being "in love" with him.  As many mistakes that Monica makes, I think she is right that she did everything for the love of Eva. She most likely used her only asset (beauty) to advance her position and open doors for Eva. I feel sorry for Monica because she is hiding a lot of hurt too and she has no one she can talk to.
  11. Â Do you think that is included in 4 or 5 will be Gideon's POV?
  12.  I thought that Sylvia said in the interview the other day that Book 4 is still Eva's point of view but it is Gideon's story. I think she said Gideon isn't talking to her yet.
  13. So we have Creepy Christopher Devious Deanna Cunning Corinne
  14.  Got it. I misunderstood the post when I first read it. Thanks.
  15. Â It would be easy enough to make a calendar with all the pictures that were posted here.Â
  16.  How do we know that Magdalene knows Gideon's history? I get the impression that Gideon didn't share his abuse with anyone before Eva. I am positive the Vidal's didn't tell anyone because they thought Gideon lied. I think Magdalene knows the family and she moves in the same social circles because of that Gideon felt comfortable inviting her to be his +1 to social events but he never felt attracted to her sexually.
  17.  I love this picture.  They said on the news that Superman is breaking records already. I have a feeling he is going to be off the market for Gideon.Â
  18.  Got it. A little confusing though.Â
  19.  I love that scene too. I also love that Gideon always refers to Eva as "wife". Even when he said he wanted to show off his wife. Eva said no one knows but Gideon said I know.   It is interesting that Eva mostly referred to Gideon as husband when she didn't know where he was. Where is my husband. I don't know what my husband is doing.  I wonder why?Â
  20.  Oh I hope so. That would make the wait easier.
  21. I have a question. On the night Gideon told Eva No more Corinne, Gideon told Eva that the kitchen fire was his alibi. Eva thought Corinne was the alibi, and so did I. I also got the impression from Graves that the kitchen fire is what convinced her Gideon killed Nathan. Gideon believed that enough people saw him dealing with the FDNY, insurance, etc. that they couldn't pin the murder on him. Do you think his lawyers are convinced that they could prove reasonable doubt because of the fire?
  22.  I agree that it was justifiable, maybe not in the legal sense, but justifiable nonetheless. Even Graves was convinced Eva was in danger and I don't think that part was a lie. She knew that the way Nathan was acting was certain death for the object of a crazed stalker like Nathan. I also think that will be the piece of evidence that will allow Victor to be on board with Gideon as a son-in-law. He looked at the evidence, either on line or in person, and knew from experience that Eva was in danger. He also put the pieces together that Nathan beat Cary. (This is what I read between the lines because he is a smart cop.)
