  1. Â All of this definitely made me think. I would hate for Corrine to take away something Eva considers special to her and Gideon. Then again, it could be that red was a color Corrine/Gideon liked in the past.Â
  2. Â I hope that's it because Eva handled that 100x better than I would have. I don't care how much I trust that Gideon wouldn't do something but enough it enough. Show her the door once and for all.Â
  3.  PREACH IT! One of the things I loved about Crossfire versus other books was the difference between Eva and the other girls. Eva was smart, sassy, and independent. I hate that she has to change so much of her life but I don't feel like Eva in the first book would have quit for Gideon but I guess she has to change with the times.Â
  4.  I agree with the awkwardness but he's just so cute! and I forgot about Demi Moore, she would play a great Elizabeth. I wish I saw Eva as myself! I could play Corrine (eww i know)
  5.  I was very surprised with how well everyone did. I was surprised too that we didn't see or hear about Ana's job interview or getting the job especially since Jack Hyde plays such a big role in the second and third book.Â
  6. Heather Graham as Monica  joe manganiello as victor  Monica Bellucci as Elizabeth  Max Irons as CHristopher Vidal Jr  Liam Cunningham as Angus
  7. Alex Pettyfer (?) as Cary   Lilly Collins as Gideons sister Ireland   Jared Leto as Brett   Olivia Munn as Magdalene   Sean O'Pry as Trey  Kevin Daniels as Mark   Candice Swanepoel as Tatiana  Raoul Bova as Arnoldo   Ed Harris as Clancy
  8. Amber Heard is Eva. She's gorgeous, and she shares Eva's feisty nature.  Blake Lively is good as Eva too.   Henry Cavill is Gideon.  Natalie Portman is Corrine (she is supposed to be willowy and soothing and sweet)
  9. I heard to expect it next summer but who knows! I thought Dakota did 100x better than I thought she would. Everything was fabulous.Â
  10. I just really thought after Gideons comments about her in CBY that he would be done playing her games. Frankly, I'm tired of it. Corrine is completely awful and selfish and Gideon needs to stand up to her and actually make an effort to keep her away or just tell Eva that Corrine isn't going anywhere. Sorry if that sounds harsh lol. I'm obviously very frustrated with Gideon and Corrine right now (regardless of how Corrine got in there or what Gideons motives are)Â Â Plus Gideon kept the glass clear in CBY that one time because he didnt want Corrine to think she could stay long or that he had anything to hide from anyone. Guess he quit trying with that.Â
  11. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT READ THE EXCERPT:: Â Why is Gideon indulging Corrine? Seriously, (from what it sounds like) his wife just really "took him back" and hes hanging off his desk talking with Corrine and looking at old photots. UGHH
  12. LOVED THE MOVIE!!
  13. So thankful I follow an author who is so open with her fans!
  14. That lego trailer made my whole day!
  15. MOVIE ENDING SPOILER******   This was on Yahoo news about how EL James wanted the movie to end vs the director: "As anyone who’s read the books knows, the first volume ends after Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) asks her wealthy lover, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), to give her a good shellacking. When he obliges, she recoils and leaves him. In the ending favored by James, who wrote the original film script with Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks), the final word in the film is “stop.†But in the ending favored by the director, which apparently came from a rewrite by Patrick Marber (Notes on a Scandal, Closer), the last word in the movie was “red,†which is used in the trilogy as a “safe word.â€"
  16. Oh okay. That makes sense.Â
  17. Does anyone remember in RIY when Gideon fought Nathan but Eva thought he was "with" Corrine? Why was Corrine there and looking like that? Â Sorry if this is a throwback. I was re-reading to take a break and got to that part and it hit me that I don't remember the answer.Â
  18.  I agree. I also pictured Ana as sweet, dainty, and innocent looking and Dakota doesn't have that. Jason Taylor is the drivers name I think.  Hopefully the movie will prove us wrong about Dakota and the rest of the film.Â
  19. I liked Jamie as Christian but Dakota as Ana was throwing me off. She in no way looked like how I had pictured in my head. I ordered my tickets yesterday.  I heard the end was a "cliffhanger" of sorts because it ends with her leaving Christian like in the books.  Reading 50 shades was what introduced me to the Crossfire series. I finished 50 and had the worst book hangover so I googled books to read after 50 shades and that made me start my book affair with Gideon!
  20. spending the next 15 weeks finishing my last semester of nursing school. wish me luck!

  21. I agree with everything so far but GidEva sleeping together warms my heart.Â
  22. Â Probably my favorite Gideon quote.Â
  23. Â It would be an amazing Christmas present!
  24. Â Haha! We already saw Gideon throw down with Christopher once, but now he'll have Eva and Gideon to worry about!
