    I sadly have to agree sscrph. I think I might have yelled at him via my kindle when Eva mentioned that to Corrine in RIY. LOL.

    Why would Gideon even tell Corrine she was insecure. Does he truly not realize this woman is still in love with him? Why give her that type of an emotional advantage over Eva?

    Monica would have lost Eva to Victor. Victor would have been given custody of Eva. Which is probably why Monica didn't want Victor to know.

    I agree Gigi. I can't even imagine being in her shoes at that lunch.

    I think at the point we are at with Gideon and Eva, this just seems impossible, So I agree that I also might be injecting my own personal feelings into this, but there is a bigger part of me as a reader, that just wouldn't buy into it.

    Yeah it was a tough job having to re-read RIY again to note the timeline, but we've all made sacrifices. LMAO. Glad we've been able to get some use out of it.

    Welcome Andie, glad you could join us.  LN- I see there is some sort of interview with Sylvia tomorrow morning, but I can't figure out the time or any other details.     Â Â Let us also not forget the way Magdalene was treated by CV Jr, and Gideon was a friend to her (even though it had to be uncomfortable) showing her the video and letting her know the score. No doubt as Magdalene sat in his office that day surrounded by Eva's flowers she could tell Gideon was the happiest she'd ever seen him, and she gets points in my book for acknowledging that Eva will be in Gideon's life and their paths will be crossing.

    Thanks Caroline. Hopefully I can get as much info about the next book out of it as you have here. A few days before you ladies will have to help me compile a list.

    I'll be there Gigi and Sylvia is doing a meet and greet the night before for fans who may not have been able to get tickets or just those interested in spending more than a few minutes with her at the signing.

    I agree with your assessment LN. I think Magdalene is actually a friend to Gideon. Yes, she wanted to be more (don't we all. ) but in the end her telling Eva what was really happening at the dinner showed that her loyalty lies with Gideon, and wanting him happy.

    Hi ladies the emo's are in the top of the Reply to this topic box when you go to write a reply. Unfortunately they have not been loading properly the past few weeks so if you just use a : and ) you can get the emo to come up or : and ( will get you the of course, but I can't get the other ones up.

    Â Â Welcome Caroline, I'm gone a day and I've missed a bunch. Caroline thanks for sharing the info with us. When Sylvia does Book Bash here in Orlando the end of June she is also doing a fan meet and greet so I am hoping to attend. I'll have to bring a pen paper and a recorder. The emoticons haven't been loading lately, but if you do a smiley with the : and the )Â it will come up and so will some of the other "standard ones" you can use on fb and such.

    I find the no mention of a name a red flag too. I also agree that CV Jr would go out with anyone in order to figure out a way to screw with Gideon.

    Hi GiGi. The mystery man statement was really about Megumi's blind date. Who is he? Obviously he has money because they are going out to his grandparents house over the weekend which is in the Hampton's. It can't be Nathan because he's been dead but I find it suspicious that Meg doesn't say his name. I thought maybe it was Christopher, but I'm not sure. I feel like he will (or has) played a part in the story.

    Good point Peachies, but I am a bit suspicious of the "mystery man."

    It seems both Eva and Gideon are bending rules for each other. His head trip at the advocacy dinner will be interesting to discuss when we get there.

    I agree Gigi. When Gideon said that I brushed it off thinking it was a "common" expression like "I'll kill him." Little did I know, he meant it.
