Hi GLH, I don't think that it is coincidental at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the Deanna character was linked in some way to the Crossfire Series. Many authors such as; Maya Banks and Shayla Black intertwine their characters throughout their various books. It gives readers a chance to get an update about their favourite characters have been up to since they last "visited" with them.  Since many people may not be all that interested in what Deanna has been up to, it may be interesting to see how this Deanna character relates to other characters and during what time period this storyline takes place. Did the storyline take place before Crossfire or after? We may get a glimpse into what Deanna was like before she "hooked up" with Gideon...or maybe not.Â

If Lionsgate is smart, I would think that they would have someone checking on Sylvia's website. The fans (sometimes) have more "pull" then they would think. It would be smart of these executives to listen to their consumers (which we are) because we are the people who will be helping them, by spending our hard-earned money.  I am glad that the next installment will be coming out before the end of the year. It is cause for celebration.Â
