Hi Sharon, You did a great thing; you prepared yourself! Good for you! I personally haven't read the KGI series by Maya Banks. I did read two books from Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers Series and I found it a little hard core for my taste. Where she makes up for this is in her fantastic ability to write a great mystery!! She can really keep the reader engaged most of the time.  I might check out Maya Banks but I think I'll go to a bookstore and see if her writing style is for me. Which books from Shayla do you have if I may ask? Is it from her Wicked Lovers Series?  I hope you have a great weekend Sharon.Â

 Hi SME, Remind me to tell you sometime about when a colleague and I lived along the border of Germany. We went in to a bakeshop to purchase baked bread but we ended up getting insulted and thrown out of the bakery. Unfortunately our German wasn't too good and we accidentally asked for "condoms"...sigh! There's more to the story but it was very funny none the less. Â

Dear SME, I think you will do just fine in this forum.  My only suggestion to you is to always listen to your inner voice. You know yourself best. How you read the material is in no more or less correct than anyone else. In that way you will always be able to stand with your convictions with ease.  I look forward to having many lively debates! It is going to be so much fun!  Buon weekend!

My understanding is that Eva could sue for invasion of privacy. She had no idea that she was being taped when she and Brett were intimate. What I wonder is if criminal charges could be layed against someone who invades the privacy of another person. I defer to the expert for the final verdict.

  Hi SME, I read your posting and I had a few thoughts: As far as the se*tape is concerned; the only harm that the release of it can go is embarrass Eva and Gideon. I don’t think that other than a little mudslinging it can harm them. Some of the forum members have said that it would be extremely difficult if Gideon saw the se* tape and as such it would keep eating away at his insecurities, but I say that he and Eva are married and as such Gideon is the ultimate winner out of the two. Brett lost. I think that they could overcome the tape. Gideon would have gotten a good idea about what was on that tape from the Vidal Launch Party and I am sure that he wasn’t thrilled about it, but he got passed it and Gideon and Eva got married (Just my opinion, I could be wrong though). Sylvia mentioned something along the lines that Eva is playing with fire when it comes to Brett.  I hope that Eva kicks Brett to the curb as quickly as possible. I really can’t see this storyline progressing much further, because Eva is married and Sylvia said that Eva and Gideon wouldn’t cheat….so where else is there to go with the storyline? I myself would like to know why Monica and Victor cheated. I think that it would add a lot to the storyline. I also want to know why Monica does what she does. She keeps making huge mistakes with her daughter and it is so frustrating as a reader! Grrr!!! As for the rest of the questions; I have to think about them a little more. You have given me a lot to think about. Thank you.  I look forward to the discussions.

Hi Sscrph, It would be nice if Gideon and Eva got to do some really normal things like going grocery shopping together. I agree with you; I think Gideon would look great in jeans!

Hi Michele, I understood that passage to mean that sometimes Eva is open and vulnerable to Gideon and then when he hurts her, or doesn’t tell her what his plans are and she is cut emotionally, she shuts down and completely blocks Gideon out emotionally.  Does that make sense? What does everyone think?Â
