  1.   Hi SME, Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy yourself.  I agree with you about Brett; I don’t trust him either. I hope we get more information on him in the next book. There are so many unanswered questions about him and many of us want to know. You make a good point about Brett correlating having se* Eva and winning her back. That seems to be the only thing that man has in his repertoire which is actually kind of sad when you think about it. Try not to be too jealous of Corinne; the lady is locked up in the psychiatric ward of the hospital and is in a lot of deep poo poo. I can’t believe that we might have to wait until Book 5 to find out if Cary is the father…augh!! Yuck!!  As for your comments about Gideon having murdered Nathan; I can relate to what you have said. I too don’t think that Gideon should have murdered Nathan (holy cow did I get a lot of flak for that but that’s ok). I think that Gideon was obligated to at least try something else first before resorting to murder. I also agree with you about the tension and trouble between Eva and Gideon. I think that although this is a fictional storyline, I believe that many women would have a problem reconciling themselves with their loved ones having committed a murder. Murder isn’t romantic in reality or in fiction either, but it does happen.  Many have said that Gideon didn’t trust the police or couldn’t trust the police. They believe that this may have stemmed from the fact that he told his mother about his own abuse when he was younger and he wasn’t believed or helped.  He may also have looked how Nathan was dealt with in Eva’s case and he may have made his own decisions about how that was handled.  SME, you are not alone in your opinions. I think that sometimes many people are afraid to express their opinions if it doesn’t go with the majority (I could be wrong, it is just what I have seen over the past 7 months). I stand with you on this.   As for Detective Graves, I think I may be in the minority here; I don’t think that her storyline is over by a long shot! I think that she may be biding her time and looking under every single rock and hiding place to find any evidence to break this case wide open. I don’t think that this is the last that we have seen of Detective Graves.  Having differing opinions is what makes this forum so lively and interesting and challenging! It also helps to provide a balanced forum which is critical if theories are to be discussed and decided upon.  What do you think?
  2.  Hi Angelmine, Could you tell me what page that was on please? I just need a frame of reference for the discussion. Thanks in advance.Â
  3. Hi Angelmine,  Thank you for sharing a part of your story. It is incredibly brave of you to do so and I stand and applaude you as a woman and a fellow human being.   It is unfortunate that the legal system hasn't caught up with protecting children/women/adults from se*ual abusers.   It is disgusting!   It is unfortunate (however) that Gideon wouldn't be able to use a "Justifiable Homicide" as his defense. He planned Nathan's murder for at least a week and under the law, what Gideon did wouldn't qualify as justifiable homicide. I am sure that we would all love it if he could, but legally he couldn't. Gideon would have to find another defense.  This has been a hotly debated topic in this forum. We have legal experts (including lawyers) who have confirmed that what Gideon did wouldn't qualify as a Justifiable Homicide. Everyone has their own theory on this and that's cool, but from an actual fact, court of law (in reality) that theory isn't viable.  I agree with you completely. I think that if Victor found out about Eva's abuse before Nathan's death, it wouldn't have been too long before Nathan would have been killed. I couldn't see Victor just sitting back and doing nothing about the wrong that was done to his daughter.   I am sending blessings your way and wish you a buon weekend. Thank you for sharing your story.Â
  4.  Hi Julie, I wasn’t concerned at all; I was responding to an interesting posting. It’s all good.  You are absolutely correct, the next two books will tell us what kind of person Corinne is. I hope the books come sooner rather than later. Have a great day!

  6. That is such a sweet photo. Â
  7. Now there's a reason to celebrate! Â
  8. I hope you had a great Fourth of July Claudine! Â
  9. Hi Barb, Thanks for the information. Have a great night!
  10. Hi Barb, I started buying my books online because they were at least 60% cheaper, if not more than in regular bookstores. There is a huge price difference when you stop to think about it. Oh well, I will have to decide soon I guess. I may just check some different websites out to see what they say.  Let's hope that the same things don't happen with her next series...fingers crossed.Â
  11.  HI Barb, Your thought is very interesting. If many people did this, the forum would have a "Superman" link that would stretch all around the world (well at least to many places in the world). The thought is actually very intriguing. Thanks for the thought. Â
  12.  Hi Barb, Thanks for the information. My only thought or concern is having to wait or having a publishing company delay the release again. Once you commit to buying something from a website, aren't you obligated to keep your purchase? How could you cancel your order?
  13.  HI Sheens, You are hillarious!
  14.  Hi Fsumom & Everyone, Does everyone want another thread or does everyone want an entirely different section like at the front of the community web-page? What does everyone think? Â
  15.  Hi Sheens, He can definitely do a great American Accent!
  16.  Hi Peachies, Happy Fourth of July! I hope you get some rest.Â
  17. Hi Barb, I was just about to ask. I saw the books on sale on Amazon and it said something about a Novemeber release date.  It didn't mention anything about an August 15th release date. Could you tell me where the book is on sale in August please? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.  Â
  18. Hi Fsumom, Thanks for posting the new snippet. From what I read, the storyline looks promising. What do you think?
  19. Hi Everyone, Happy Fourth of July to all of the American ladies.Â
  20. Hi Everyone, Has anyone else ever had rose petal jam? It is absolutely delicious! It is so incredibly fragrant as well!Â
  21. Â One of the most beautiful things about roses is their fragrance! Lovely! Â
