Hi Angelmine, This is the one time in life that I wish someone could wave a "magic wand" and that pedophiles could always be found guilty in a court of law. Then they could be locked up forever and life could go on safely for the survivors of these villains!  I have no idea how Sylvia is going to wrap up the Nathan murder storyline. Just when I thought that something was going to happen, Sylvia threw in a Russian Mob twist. I am still scratching my head over that.  I don't think that that storyline will play out much longer though. Many have pointed out that this is a love story (it is just sad that this story includes such traumatic side stories). I think that you might be able to come up with a few great ideas about how Gideon might get out of this "pickle". I am sure that in the course of your studies, you might just see some really strange legal cases.  I look forward to hearing all of your theories and ideas! It will add to an already lively form! Thank you for your weekend wishes.Â

Hi Fayeth, I agree with you. I don't think that Martin and Michael are the same. Eva knows Martin (he is indirect family) so she has been around him in the past. Eva has a pretty good gut instinct and as such if Martin wasn't a nice guy she would have gotten a feeling about him. I also don't think that she would have introduced him to her friend's friend (just my opinion).  As for Megumi, I think that something isn't right with that situation. I am suspicious because no one has spoken to her other than the HR Department. We haven't been introduced to Daphne (is it?) and as such we can't assess whether Megumi is actually sick or whether something more is going on.  The other thing that made me suspicious is the fact that Eva left a messages for Megumi and thus far, neither Megumi nor Lacey have returned her calls. Asides from that I have no idea what has happened. I could potentially see something being written for the next book but as to what that is, I have no idea.  I think that there are several other characters that Sylvia could develop successfully and we would probably love them too. I hope you have a great weekend!Â

 Hi Rogue, I was thinking about the whole Brett thing today and you make a valid point (well actually several valid points ). At the end of the day, I am just a girl and not a guy so I won’t ever really know what it is like to be a guy.  It could be that Brett is just really a ding dong and was expressing his interest in Eva. I don’t know, but I hope that we get clarification on this subject sooner rather than later.  I just keep thinking about your analogy about Brett being a toad. Let’s hope someone else kisses him and he turns into a prince! I have a feeling if Eva kisses him, she may just wind up with warts on her lips.  Thank you for the weekend wishes.Â

Hi Julie, I checked out Amazon as well and there isn't a listing for any of Sylvia's new books coming out any earlier than Novemember. So that is what confuses me. Why hasn't the book that is supposed to be released for August 15th on Amazon's radar? It doesn't make sense?  Have any of the other ladies noticed where the books are being sold online earlier than this? Any information that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sarah, You make a good point. I hope that one of the ladies in the forum starts another thread specifically for other books and authors. I am sorry I am not sure how I would go about doing that.Â

  Hi SME, You are absolutely correct. There is something between Victor and Monica that hasn’t resolved and that there is an attraction between these two that is so strong that time and distance hasn’t diminished their desire for one another. We need so much more information about these two!! Oh information, please come soon!!!  Your correlation between Victor’s dislike of people with money and his self esteem is very interesting! We in the forum have been speculating as to whether Victor and Monica’s connection was merely a “fling†of sorts (se*ual attraction and chemistry fueled by a lot of passion). Time will tell whether Victor and Monica were meant to be or whether they were more like star-crossed lovers. Sylvia said that Monica has “quite the storyâ€! So I am sitting here waiting….waiting….and waiting some more!!    I have had a very hard time with the Monica character. Every time I would take her side, she would do something outrageous and foolish that it made me want to scream!! Her relationship with Eva is extremely unhealthy and Monica needs to grow up. She uses her “vulnerability†like a weapon against her daughter and in a means to control her actions because she never built a healthy relationship with her child. The fact that Monica didn’t notice what was going on for four years while her daughter was being tortured and raped makes my blood boil!! Thus far, the only redeeming qualities that Monica has are in her ability to at least give up the “gig†and apologize when she gets caught. Sigh! I am doing my best not to judge Momo (my nickname for her) but I am having a hard time with that.  You are also absolutely correct! The power of money should never be underestimated! My person opinion is that money will make you more of who you already are. If you are good then money will make you even better. If you are a jerk, then money will just magnify that flaw! What do you think?Â

Hi Julie, I think that Megumi's mystery illness is of concern for me. It concerns me because no one has been able to speak with her directly and that kind of scenario sets off alarm bells. Your link between Megumi and Lacey is interesting and plausible because they are roommates.  Could it be that Lacey "sold" Megumi up the river? Could Lacey be the person who had problems and Megumi got accidently involved? Some hood (gangster) comes looking for Lacey (because she is the one "they" want-whoever they are) but Megumi is in the wrong place at the wrong time, so she gets it instead? Just a thought. What do you think?  Theorize away lady...

Good afternoon SME, I am sorry we got cut off this morning. There has been construction going on in my neighborhood and one of the construction crews hit the cable lines that supply my street (which effectively ended my postings for the morning). They just finished fixing their "boo boo" and I now have my cable up and running.  I hope you had a great day and now evening (actually night in Germany). I hope we get a chance to catch up again. It was a lot of fun chatting with you. Â

 HI SME, Do you think that it might be possible that Victor might feel guilty about having sex with a married woman? Could it be that Victor might not feel comfortable with people who have considerable sums of money because maybe he was treated like he was less than because he didn't have money?  There is an old saying: Money doesn't corrupt people, money just shows you what the person is like faster (i.e. if a person is kind then they will be just as king and generous as they were before the money. If a person was a jerk, then that person would be an even bigger jerk-people would just notice it faster because of the money). What do you think?

 Hello Ms. Rogue, Twenty years old is twenty-two years ago for me. Perhaps I have gotten cranky with my advanced age?    Don't worry about the double posting. It is all good.Â

 I speak Italian (probably just conversational at this point becuase I don't have someone to speak it with...sigh!). I also speak some French and speak Greek. My Aunt speaks German, Greek, Italian, French, Polish, Russian, English and other languages which I can't remember right now.    I find that if you speak another language then learning a subsequent language isn't as difficult. German is also very similar to English in that some of the same grammar rules apply and such. I have German neighbours that I do my best to speak with...well actually I sputter out a few words and they laugh at me and then procede to eat the "freshly baked good" that I have offered for said privilige. I will get there eventually. Â

 It is true!!  My cousin (who came over from Europe for a vacation) and my brother (who is 47 years old) decided they were going to have a burping contest. My dad heard this and decided to join in the fun. They were howling with laughter!! Just so impressed with themselves about the noises that they had made....it was like having a bunch of twelve year old boys sitting around and making noises!   Â

   HI SME, I can totally relate. So long as someone doesn’t pass a theory off as “expert†testimony, it is all good with me. When information gets presented as expert testimony, it bothers me because there are a lot of people who read these postings and might not know and might assume.  Anyone can have whatever theories or thoughts that they want. It is great!! It makes for a really lively and enthusiastic forum. So long as someone doesn’t pass off a piece of information as the Gospel truth, it is all good. If someone passes off information that is grossly inaccurate or has been passed off as expert testimony (that is not) then I will absolutely challenge that theory. I make sure that I back up any challenge with solid documented evidence that anyone (should they wish) could investigate and reach the same conclusions.  At the end of the day, it is a book and this is all for fun.Â

  Hi SME, I agree. Brett is not my favourite character either, but out of the cast of whacky characters Anne Lucas is far more of concern and dare I say dangerous!  It is unfortunate that many rock stars take advantage of all of the se* and wild lifestyle. Oh well that is for them to deal with.  As for the "barking thing" I would just bark...woof...woof...woof...to get my point across (or shvienahunt- I would always preface this by saying I had a Doberman and she was a hundt but she used to eat like a swvine).  Patients always used to laugh. I always made sure I had a picture of her with me.  Near the end of my days there my patients used to ask about my dog and my dad. I always talk about my dad with my patients. It makes them laugh! My dad is very funny!  I never had a problem working with the patients, there was always someone there to help and if worst came to worst I used charades to get my point across to the staff and the patients. It was a real learning experience (very very difficult) but one that I will treasure always. I learned how to speak Italian because of that experience. It was a real blessing.
