  1.  Hi Claude, Oh boy! I have a feeling that you are right! It is going to be a very intense experience for Gideon and for the rest of us, who are reading his story!
  2. Someone has been influenced by Donald Duck perhaps? Â
  3.     Hi Ladies, Since many of you ladies are on FB, did you ladies happen to notice that comment about Sylvia's attire during her book signing? I finally decided to check out Sylvia's FB page and I was horrified by some of the comments people made! They felt that they were entitled to post these things!  What ever happened to if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all?
  4. Hi Sarah, I think that Gideon's lack of words (POV) thus far, has helped to add to his "mystery". I would like to know what he felt like and how he was affected by the circumstances in his life. I think that in order for the series to progress and for us to gain a better understanding of him, we are going to need to hear his voice and understand his POV. What do you think?
  5. jaqueline figure â€@FigureJaqueline11h @SylDay do u reply to your readers or am I wasting my time reading your books. So sorry if I sound rude. Cheers jaqui pic.twitter.com/WSFFZqBc9k  View photo  Sylvia Day ~ Author â€@SylDay7h @FigureJaqueline I certainly try to!   Hi Barb, Where do you find these comments? I find it really sad that people think that their anonymity gives them a false sense of entitlement to speak to an author rudely. It is if civility falls by the wayside.Â
  6. Hello My Most Favourite Debating Rogue, I agree with your position. I think that if anything, Gideon wouldn't have been all that charming in his pick-up style. I also think that Deanna would have clearly known that this was a "booty call" of sorts. Gideon didn't even chase Deanna. Deanna did all of the chasing and flirting, etc.  It was my understanding that the only reason Gideon decided to take Deanna back to the hotel room was because Anne was continually chasing after Gideon and he couldn't "shake her". The only way that it would be clear to Anne, that he wasn't interested in her, was to leave with another woman.  What do you think?Â
  7. Â Guten tage meine liebe freund SMEÂ I hope you have a blessed day!
  8. Hi Mam2e & Nathalia, I agree with both of you ladies. I think that the way Gideon treated Deanna was not nice. Instead of saying to Deanna, "hey you seem like a nice person but I am not really into this experience" he didn't say anything to her and I think that is what she found so upsetting. It wasn't nice of Gideon. He did owe her some sort of explanation (not because they were in a relationship but just to be a human being).  I however don't understand the level of Deanna's hatred. She went back to Gideon's hotel room willingly, knowing full well that this was a one-night stand. It was almost as if this was her first se*ual experience. Barring someone being violent or forcing themselves upon another person, just meeting and sleeping with someone in a matter of hours is a crap shoot. It seems is looking to blame everyone else but herself. She put herself in that situation and she also had the power to open her mouth then and there and tell Gideon that she didn't like the way she was treated during that "encounter". It is a shame that she wasn't able to take responsiblility for her actions and what put her in that situation in the first place. What do you ladies think?
  9. Guten Tag Meine Liebe SME, I really enjoyed the Fifty Shades of Grey series. I found EL James' writing style to be very refreshing. Her English references didn't bother me in the least (Canada and England have the same language system).  I honestly didn't understand why so many people got upset by her use of English references?  If an author has a writing style that I am not familiar with (e.g. Leo Tolstoy), then I make a pet project to look up any sayings or wordings to understand their meaning. I look at it as an opportunity to learn something new. EL James' list of music references was WONDERFUL!!! I wasn't familiar with some of the artists such Nitin Sawhney and it was Fantastic!!!  I loved every single thing about the books!! I am only sad that the story ended! I know that there are many people that read the series only for the se* and I think that it is a little sad. Ms. James' books offer so much more than just "mommy p***" (not my favourite saying by the way- it is really disrepectful of women and mothers in general).  I am often astounded by people's visceral reactions to both EL James and Sylvia Day. I found it absolutely astounding that people can be incredibly and openly rude about their opinions. What ever happened to common sense? What ever happened to if a person doesn't like something then they aren't obligated to purchase another book from these authors? I have to wonder? What do you think?Â
  10. It was like being a kid on Christmas morning, seeing all of the presents under the Christmas tree only, I got the adult version of Christmas presents (just kidding)!

  17.  Hi Gabri, It is amazing to see how much a generation can change when looking at how the some of the generations discuss the topic of se* more openly. I think that is a sign of progress.
  18. Guten tage meine liebe freund SME, It's alll good! Don't worry about me. Trying out this website has given me a wonderful opportunity to meet many new and wonderful people from all around the world. The experience has been a very positive one for me overall. I have learned so much from so many wonderful and knowledgeable people.   I wish you a good week.Â
  19. Hi SME, It is so interesting to note that regardless of "how" someone found the Fifty Shades of Grey Series, everyone seems to agree that the writing was very good and that the storylines were what hooked each reader. Isn't that supposed to be one of the marks of a good writer?
  20. Hi SME, The rest I will keep to myself.
  21.  Hi Mam2e & SME, I didn't know how to attach my question so I am asking along with you, what made you ladies decide to read the Fifty Shades of Grey Series?  I didn't know that these books existed until I saw the President of the United States of America talking about the books. It was hillarious. I didn't know if he was talking about some kind strange political tactics or agendas. I picked up the wrong order of the books (I didn't read them in their sequence), but I quickly discovered what the books were all about when I got a little into the book. Imagine my surprise...  Â
  22. Hi Mam2e, You are a funny lady.  May your day be blessed.Â
  23. Hi SME, You are doing a great job. Don't worry about any foibles. We are made of hearty stuff in this forum.  All you have to do is pick one person to save and one person to kill. The game is very easy.  Enjoy.Â
