For someone obsessed about Eva's safety--- WHY wouldn't Monica tell Eva that Nathan was in town?????

I can buy the car and limosine theory---vehicles being dispatched at the same to throw off the police as to which vehicle Gideon was in....

 

Are the police tailing Eva and Gideon 24/7??

True, Victor is a detective, but he is a father first!

Somehow and in some way, I think he will be the help that Eva and Gideon need..

I think that Victor would be capable of harming Nathan if he found out what Nathan had done to Eva and if he knew that Nathan was in NYC stalking Eva.

I think that Detective Graves probably assumed that Victor knew what Nathan did to Eva in California.

Does anyone think that Raul may serve as a body double for Gideon?

You know --to confuse anyone who may be tailing him---like the police?

I hope to see more of Victor in EWY!

There is no way that that Victor is not sniffing around to find out why Eva reacted so emotionally when the detectives told her that Nathan was in NYC. And I cannot envision him being against Gideon when he finds out all that transpired with Nathan.

 Since Magdalene has known Gideon for a long time, I guess she knew him during his angry teenage years..... wonder what she knows...

 

It seems to me that alot of the characters in this book are stuck emotionally in their teenage years...

Why would Cary video tape Christopher and Magdalene having sex?

Did Cary "just happen" to see Christopher and Magdalene together ----- maybe Cary was following one of them?

I think that Christopher may be the sociopath..

I'm not sure Gideon thought that he and Eva had broken up during those four days...

 

He replicated her bedroom in his apartment...

 

He made a collage of pictures of them together in his study...

 

He bought Eva a ring...

But the Detective said to Eva that the evidence that they collected from Nathan's hotel room showed that Nathan was stalking her.

From this evidence, the detective said that she felt Gideon perceived Eva to be in mortal danger.

 

I believe that Gideon and his security team had Nathan followed, knew his whereabouts and had cased his hotel room...

I don't trust Cary..

I believe that Cary loves Eva and wants her to be happy.

But I believe that Cary is a "drama queen" and he gets off with the love triangle of Eva-Gideon-Brett..so Cary will subtlely do things to push the triangle drama.

Was Corinne back in New York when she called Gideon at the advocacy fundraiser or was she still in Paris?

 

Also, do you think  it was Corinne who was calling Gideon the night that Eva had the dinner at her apartment when her dad was in town-----Gideon took several calls on his cell phone that night...

 

And what is this all about--

 

In BTY page 279 Gideon says to Eva:

 "I've had as much sex since I met you as I've had in the last two years combined."

 

But then in RIY page 49  Dr. Peterson asks Gideon:

"What was the frequency of your sexual encounters prior to Eva?"

 

Gideon responds:

"Twice a week --on average."

 

What the ?!!??

*Wow*
