I would kindly like to remind you that when everyone was discussing how this entire next book should be handled only five or six individuals spoke up and thought that there should be as many threads as there are.  Might I respectfully remind you that a few individuals cannot speak for the majority.

 

I would also note that people have been discussing this book in code or letters or whatever since well before Friday and dare I say that there has been nary a cricket sound of displeasure from opposing camps.  Keep that in mind.  Thanks in advance.

I think more then five or six ppl spoke on this subject..! This question was asked mutipule times..! that i know of NOBOBY said they DIDN'T approve of having 2 threads..!! This thread here is for a chapter daily as there are ppl that just got their book yesterday and DON'T want to jump right into the book, but want to take their time savoring it.. We are being respectful to those ppl, as SD is..!

Honestly I thought it was being nice waiting till today because we DIDN'T have to do that and truth be told I could have let the cat out the bag June 1 and spoiled it for everyone but I didn't..!

The other post is for ppl that want to talk about the book in no particular order ( with spoilers included) so for those that didn't get their books yet or DON'T want to go over the book by chapter a day ,this would be for them..! The choice is yours..! To each is own..!!

But why make ppl read spoilers if they don't want to..? Wouldn't it make since to make a thread without it..!?

Why hide spoilers from ppl that want to read them..? Make a thread for them..! So that's what we did,,!

As far as hints and codes that's all they were nobody spoiled the book for no one..!

All we ask is have respect for others..!!

Hi, jumping in with a quick reminder that this one particular thread is designed specifically for one chapter per day, especially for readers who are still working on the early chapters but have not yet finished.

 

The main "SPOILER" thread (and yes, I misspelled that word when I set up the other thread) is for any and everything everywhere in the book.

Please be respectful of this Ladies and Gent's..!! It is GREATLY APPRECIATED..!

I hope he hears from reporters trying to reach him for reaction to the news Gideon Cross is engaged to "Golden" and he decides to avoid seeing Eva in San Diego. Yes, they are going to need to talk about the existence of the sex tape, something that can hurt them both. But it would be better if they avoid going near one another for several reasons -- one of which is the existence of the tape. Eva herself pointed out to Gideon that Crisis Management 101 involves distancing one's self from the source of controversy. They can talk about the sex tape on the phone.

He's going to want to see her to ask if its true or not if he gets wind of an engagement or marriage, And Eva is going to want see him face to face to ask if he knew anything about the tape..! That's why she meant to tell Gideon ( not that he probably didn't already know) that Brett has a stop SD that same weekend. Giving him a warning that she would see him.!

I do however think Gideon won't send her alone..! ( so to speak)

I have this little scene in my head from Brett & Eva's first meeting in Book 4 where Brett leans in to kiss her hello and she stops him by putting her left hand up to cover his mouth. He sees her ring and exclaims "You're engaged!" To which she replies, "Actually, I'm married."

For her sake I hope that happens..!!

Oh I was wanting to say one of the two things that P I S S E D me off with Eva is

She (as Gideon would say) opened the door to the idea of marriage.. " leave you.? I'm going to marry you" and then when Gideon wanted it she backed into a corner like a child on punishment..!

Brett is under the illusion that it will take just 1 time with him, to make Eva want him and not Gideon. Stupid man

With the whole Brett / Eva situation... I think we need to remember that PUBLICALLY that night in Times Sq was supposed to be the first time Gideon and Eva had spoken since their break up 3weeks earlier. Eva did tell Brett that she was in love with Gideon, she also deflected all of his attempts to kiss her (as best she could) but she couldn't come out and make declarations about how serious Gideon and her were as they were only just talking again.

I do agree however, that there was no reason to bring Brett up to her apartment. Why couldn't she say good night in the car?

I think when she goes to SD she will meet up with Brett, but I think she will do so mainly to tell him about the video situation. I think if he makes a move this time she will make it quite clear that she is engaged/married and he better back off.

Someone said they thought Brett might use the video to blackmail Eva into sleeping with him. I don't see how that would work as Gideon knows about the video. Eva can't fear Gideon finding out about it - he was the one who told her about it!!

Just because Gideon knows about the video doesn't mean Brett won't try to use it to blackmail Eva while she's in SD,!!

Yeah-but seeing that she's in the hospital at the end of the book maybe we'll get our claws in her in #4.

Nah I think she's leaving straight from the hospital back to France with her husband in book 4

Call me naive but I can't see either of them cheating on the other, they have came too too far!!

Nope...! Your NOT naive..! I don't care what happens to Eva I don't think she would cheat on Gideon..!!

Is anyone else worried that whoever helped Gideon by setting up the Russian guy will blackmail him with... stay away from Eva or I'll out you.  I have a bad feeling about that whole thing...

No..! I don't think SD would ruin the series like that..!! The point is to get them to a HEA..!

Oh wait I forgot Megumi had a nooner maybe she got pregnant..!

Does Megumi's bein "sick" have anything to do with her knowing about Monica andVictor knocking boots.?

Maybe she said yes because of what happened in the plane -- by lowering his ultimate sexual defenses and trusting her, he proved he was capable of being able to open up.

 

His pattern of shutting her out, present from day one of their relationship, had been the real dealbreaker, not Corrine (Corrine was just the last straw.) When she did get back together with Gideon, she still (rightly so) was afraid he'd go back to shutting her out again, making it impossible for them to work out after all -- would have broken her heart all over again.

 

He proved he is ready and able to change, and I think that's what made her finally ready to marry him.

It's more it..!! Oh course she thought he shut down but something else was going on in that head of hers..!

And you know what else?!?! Gideon has to stop doing things and finding out things and not tell Eva. Granted he's learning, BUT going to California without letting her know? They're constantly texting, etc., he couldn't have let her know? I don't have any triggers but that not knowing where he was for 2 days would put me into a frenzy!!!

Yes that me off..! He should say something..!

WHY DIDN'T GIDEON GIVE CORINNE THE RING OF ELIZABETH'S INSTEAD OF BUYING HER ONE.  I WONDER  IF CORINNE RETURNED HER ENGAGEMENT RING TO GIDEON WHEN SHE BROKE OFF THE ENGAGEMENT?

Cary is like a brother to Eva and anyone can see GidEva are serious she has $$$$$$$ in her eyes when she looks at Cary!!!

But Gideon is keeping a watchful eye on her as Eva whispered to him "baby mama" when she came in and he said "she's trouble" so he's no idiot..! As I think she may have told Ian who Gideon was because Cary said Ian didn't get a look at Gideon and they didn't know who the other girls were so how did Ian find out who Gideon was..??

If Elizabeth wants a relationship with her son she's definitely gonna have to come over to TEAM EVA !!! Everyone in her family loves Eva--Ireland, Chris Jr, and even Chris Sr liked Eva right away ...Elizabeth is going to finally have to suck it up and come clean!!! Her son is madly passionately obsessively in love with Eva and ANYONE can see that even prefect strangers but not only that Gideon has never been happy until he met Eva even Ireland sees that .....Elizabeth needs to start being a real mom to Gideon if she wants him in her life.

They can just leave her out..!! with Corrine..! S H I T even Magdalena is happy for them.!!

Yes! In BTY Elizabeth was all happy that Gideon was with Eva but now I bet she cant stand the sight of her, especially after seeing her ring on Eva's finger.
