Hi llurvegc I dont agree with this train of thought because the excerpt said earlier in the day Gideon had sent Eva a sext so she was expecting a night of romance and then Gideon never showed up...that is why the bruises are disturbing. As for the Brett situation he did say he would be around and Gideon cant stop him from performing because that is what the Vidal record label is paying him to do so Gideon will have to grin and bear it but Im sure he knows that Brett will make his move if Gideon ever f&&&s up...

Maybe Brett wrote another song about Eva and thats why Gideon was pixxed...

Im thinking if Brett is still in the picture in chapters 11 and 12 then maybe he didnt have anything to do with the sex tape or he would have been kicked to the curb by now... He did tell Eva he would be "around..."

I would like some tidbits about Eva's earlier life. Did she go to boarding school for high school? I would also like to know if her grandparents are still alive and if she went to San Diego for holidays or on school breaks while she was growing up...

Hi jm hope i have to laugh at your opinion of Cary because I actually think that is also Gideon's opinion of Cary lol but as we know Gideon is a smart guy and his ANGEL has told him that she and Cary are a package deal so I suppose he has to deal with it and he's more than capable. Hopefully by Eva getting married Cary will also become more independent and they can lessen or eliminate the co-dependency they have with each other!!

Idk divorce papers would be drastic after all if the books continue at their present rate this would only be one or two months time...I give Eva a lot more credit...I think she can hang in much longer than that...what do you all think?

I totally agree Gideonfan2014...As Gideon gets deeper into his therapy he may shut down and shut Eva out and she actually voices these fears to Gideon when he talked about marriage...the song is perfect for them . :(

I agree the dice may refer to Monica's former husband. Remember Gideon is looking into Monica's backstory for Eva. I think the book may move right into Monica's secrets early on...I can't wait!! . ;)

Hi llurvegc, I like reading about Gideon's possessiveness too...Sylvia does make it very sexy to read. I just can't wait for the new book it's gonna be a great read and even though I think there will be dark parts, I am comforted by the fact that they are married and I know that no matter what Gideon throws out there, Eva is totally committed to making things work. I think they both know that they are the other half of each other and have no choice but to weather the hard times to gain the happiness they both so deserve!!

I certainly can't blame her for that if I had a taco place that close for lunch I'd eat there every day !!! Oh and you forgot about the pierogi another home style favorite lol. . :)

Hi Gigi your post brings up two very important points. The first is Megumi ....as someone earlier may have speculated is the reason she is staying away from work because she sold Eva out to the press ? Remember the nite Megumi joined Cary for dinner with Trey? Cary was giving away a lot of Eva's secrets and you are correct Megumi did share a cab with Monica the day of her tryst with Victor so she may actually have had some dirt to sell to the press. It fact that the Page 6 article mentions the name Richard bothers me. I hope Monica and Richard are not on the rocks. I agree with Eva when she says Stanton is good for MommyCa and gives her what she needs... I think it would take a lot for Stanton to dump his trophy wife so I really do not think this is the case. Hopefully Victor will find a wonderful woman now that he has had what I hope is one last fling with Monica.
