I think those women were so hot for his bod and his billions they didn't care where he took them and let's face it, as long as he was still unattached they still had a chance. I think in the next book there's a good possibility we will see a lot of them come out of the shadows to give Eva grief because of their vile jealousy; I think this may be a big problem for Eva and her insecurities may surface again. . :(

I remember a while back in one of the interviews ; Sylvia said Eva would have a hard time adjusting to life with Gideon simply because she is so social and he has always been very private. He would much rather have her all to himself in private while she is more outgoing. And as Barb mentioned earlier, Gideon is very insecure in his relationship with Eva and right now she is the stronger one . As someone said , he needs her to breathe which puts him at a tremendous disadvantage and also in a position he is not comfortable with as he is usually in control of any situation. I can totally see why he went to SD and they are all valid reasons but he told Eva he would NOT go so I can see her being very angry about this and possibly that is what these teasers are referring to. Eva still needs her independence and does not want to be swallowed up by Gideon's persona which I think is a valid concern when married to a billionaire. I think the new book will be a lot about this and Gideon struggling with his nightmares and coming to terms with his relationship with his family ; especially his mother and Christopher. The more I think about it, I'm glad Cary will be close by for Eva to lean on because I think at some point Gideon may try to shut Eva out in order to protect her because he thinks she will run but I think Eva is done running and Gideon just has to get that through his head. . :)

I have seen her posts and she looks like she is having a lovely time. I am so disappointed for you because everyone that has gone to a book signing says they are fun... Oh well your weekend in France will probably be amazing as well!! . ;)

I know Gideon is brilliant but I actually do not think he keeps track of her practice associates unless of course one would be named Dr. Peterson lol!! Oh well only Sylvia knows for sure!! Hi jmhope I would actually love to see Gideon spending time with Victor on his own. I look forward to a respectful relationship developing between these two and I can't wait to see how Sylvia writes it. Afterall nothing would make Eva happier than to see these 2 most important men in her life forming a strong bond.

As far as the name on the pill bottles go, it could be one of Ann's associates in the same practice that Corinne is seeing...I'm sure Ann would have access to all patient files in her own practice and devious as she is , she can get her hands on anything she wants to know.

Yes deek couldn't agree more....Someone awhile back on this blog stated that the Crossfire series was Sylvia's masterpiece and I too believe this to be true. GidEva are two characters that you can't get out of your head. The reader experiences a variety of emotions while reading about them and of course after the read, the time spent thinking about them is just as intense. I almost don't want CBY to release because then we will be that much closer to the end of their story as if there ever could be an end as Gideon says...So I totally agree with you when you say READ THE BOOKS AGAIN and be certain that Sylvia is writing the perfect complement to the books so far!! By the way my favorite so far was EWY. I absolutely love that book and have read it and listened to it at least 20 times. . ;)

Welcome jnmclain you make some good points. Yes it has to be killing Gideon that he can not share a bed with Eva and he must wonder whether he will ever be able to. I do think he trusts Dr. Peterson because he would never have continued with him up to this point if that were not the case. As far as Dr. Travis is concerned , his specialty is with "mad" kids and Gideon is certainly no longer a kid but I am sure he would love to at least meet the doctor that Eva has credited with saving her life.

Hi Ann totally agree about Gideon needing Eva to " breathe" and I think that is what prompted his slipping off a cliff comment.... I really do think he feels that way when he is away from Eva and I think when he says that to her in the new book it will "shred" her and she will get over any anger she has toward him about his appearance in San Diego.

My question is how this "chance" meeting actually takes place. From the teaser it appears that GidEva are surprised to see each other. He obviously wasn't expecting her. Is Gideon in the fitness center of one of his properties since he is working out? And I still wonder why Cary and Eva wouldn't stay with Victor. Raul could guard her there just as well as anywhere else...

Actually I also think that the sweaty, hot Mothers Day teaser shows that Gideon is fully prepared to use his amazing body and sex god vortex package to keep Eva from getting mad at him and to keep him from falling off the cliff so to speak...He can play dirty when warranted just like Eva!! . ;)

You make good points llurvegc...Gideon knows he has a lot of baggage to unload on Eva hence that one sided pre-nup and now this quote referring to him slipping off the cliff or even earlier when he gave Eva the first promise ring and referred to the x's as him holding onto her... Just can't wait to read CBY. . ;)
