Hi gellay welcome to the forum and thank you for sparking this discussion the forum has been too quiet! Love hearing everyone's thoughts but I have to say I don't think Gideon would ever kill himself either even more so now that Eva is in his life. Before her the way he dealt with his pain was to block it out by his work 24/7 and in his sexual encounters with no "exaggerated expectations". Lol. I really don't think the story of Nathan will come out. I think GidEva will take that to their graves. I think Clancy and the Stanton camp know what Gideon did but they will not pursue it. The dark days for GidEva will come as he finally confronts his past and his demons and Eva will be there every step of the way. I do think she will use her Krav Maga in some way so that remains to be seen whether it is a real threat such as a kidnapping or on Gideon himself due to the nightmares etc... Just can't wait for the book and Sylvia if you are reading...need a snippet/excerpt real bad !!!! As Victor would say "I'm cryin a river here". . .

I wonder if Gideon will take Eva to a little intimate Italian place he knows in Brooklyn where they won't be recognized; perhaps Rossi's? Or could it be that Gideon is acquainted with Jackson?? I can't wait to read if Sylvia will "entwine" the two stories... . :)

OMG just want to let everyone know that I read Aftershock and lets just say DEANNA is not presented in a favorable light... I knew I didn't trust her...LOOK OUT GIDEVA. . :(

Hi Sylvia somehow I knew you would say that but that's ok ... Hopefully by the time I'm done with reading AFTERSHOCK several times the GidEva snippets will start rolling LOL Just can't wait for CBY it's really been a long winter here in the Northeast need a little GidEva to help us pass the days till spring!!

I have to say I love the thought of Christopher being the baby daddy how devious; but at this point it looks like Giroux is the baby daddy especially as she was 4 months along...

Hi Andie as I mentioned earlier so great to have you back and I too was throwing confetti at the use of the GidEva endearment and thought of you immediately ; perhaps you too should consider a career in writing if you are not already. . . Anyway that being said I still do not trust Deanna and I have said this numerous times on the blog simply because of the vow Gideon made in BTY about destroying any reporter that published a story about Eva's tragic past. To this point Deanna is the only reporter in the story so I DO NOT TRUST HER... So far in the series Eva has been right about her perceptions and I believe she is right about Deanna "that woman is hot for you" most recently comes to mind. Considering Gideon's cluelessness in regard to his female conquests as we have also discussed in depth on this blog when Gideon states to Eva that "there comes a point where it becomes clear that there is no hope," I think he is responding with his usual naïveté' regarding women. So do I think that Deanna is waiting in the wings for Eva to screw-up so to speak ABSOF-INLUTELY. Deanna is deluded of course cause Gideon is CAPTIVATED by his Angel and he's never letting her go!!

Hi Inic I actually think that Gideon told Corrine the bit about long distance friends the day Eva thre him the finger when he was putting Corinne in the limo in front of the Crossfire. They probably had the meeting in his office and then he had Angus take her home and he went back in to work... As for communicating with Christopher, well she's clearly desperate and this also proves without a doubt that she never truly knew Gideon... That being said it's time for her to GOOOOOO!!

Well seeing that they will be tabloid fodder for the next several months it's a great way to go !!! GidEva is right up there with Brangelina!! Lol. . :)
