I know Henry Cavill is often mentioned as a possibility for the role of Gideon, but he's a Brit, and I personally favor an American born actor Matt Bomer, who currently starts in the TV series White Collar. His film credits include Flightplan. His most striking feature is the same as Gideon's -- very striking blue eyes.

In BTY the bottle that contained "hair of the dog " had a cork in it so this is not that bottle. Now I am really perplexed so all I can say is we need another snippet please!! LOL

Cary's meds would probably be in drugstore prescription bottles so perhaps it is Eva nursing a hangover I think that is definitely her couch...

Well if Cary does do a short stint in rehab to withdraw from his pain meds that would explain why Gideon is staying the nite at Eva's place if in fact he is...

Ohhh! I hope it's HBO!   I was looking around on Pintrest last night and a lot of people like Amber Heard for Eva, I have to agree. She is so beautiful. Also Henry Cavill as Gideon. He was good on The Tudors that was on Showtime i believe.

Henry Cavill could be Christian Grey or Gideon Cross how lucky for him!!

I don't know about them separating again. That has already been done a few times. I'm sure there will be lots of drama but i don't think it will not include them being apart. I think this book is going to take Gideon and Eva on a journey that they have not been on before.

I do think Eva will feel a lot of guilt about what Gideon did for her and perhaps that will fuel the separation but hopefully they will find their way back to each other. The luggage tags on the cover are encouraging a happy ending. What do you all think?

I agree LN but I also think Eva will need to come to terms with Gideon's possessiveness. I'm sure at some point they will have to address his bad habit of "information gathering." It will be nice to see them as a solid couple addressing their issues.

I agree we may be all wrong about this . SD is probably laughing her a--off if she is reading some of our posts. I think I've said this before, I just love reading their day to day stuff and even how Gideon f---- up cause he's never been in a relationship before. So I too hope the investigation wraps up so we can get back to the romance and also Cary, Monica, Victor, Stanton etc. It's also great reading to hear about Eva's blossoming advertising career and Gideon' s mogul business. I say bring it on!!

The one thing that perplexes me, if Gideon is consistently sneaking into Eva's, is how they're dealing with Cary overhearing stuff. I suppose it's possible they told him at least part of the truth -- Gideon is under suspicion for Nathan's murder -- but it's still risky.

 

One of the main reasons Gideon kept Eva in the dark was to prevent her from getting dragged into the investigation. The same deal applies to Cary -- right now, ignorance is his friend. Thus far the cops have left him alone. Until recently, they left Eva alone too. But that's changed.

 

So is Cary still home recuperating?

This perplexes me because I think this secret is one that only Gideon and Eva will ever share and they have to be telling Cary something because he is not stupid or deaf LOL...

I'm wondering if this has to do with the Easter Snippet.   Was Eva waiting for Gideon and he was late.   In the snippet initially she protested until she felt his warmth and went back to sleep.   I wonder if she's upset at him.

The reason I think it's his place is because she asks him who is singing and I'm thinking it was his sound system so he probably should know...

So if we are correct in assuming this snapshot is connected with said snippet then Gideon and Eva are at his place in Chapter 7. Does this mean that they no longer have to hide their relationship or is Eva still sneaking into his place at this point in Chapter 7. What do you all think?

Who was it that liked red wine Gideon or Eva?? And when Gideon was at Evas for dinner to meet her dad didn't it describe her kitchen or the counter top?? I don't remember, anyone??

Gideon did imply something about Elizabeth liking Carey. Which makes me ask why? Then he did kind of warned her off him. Why? Does she have a thing for young hot guys?

Yes in reading Bared to You numerous times LOL I have always wondered about that comment . At first I thought it was a loyalty issue but now I'm not so sure... If in fact Elizabeth was having an affair with Vidal while still married to Cross the only way Gideon would have known this info was through Angus because as a five year old he would have been too young to realize what if anything was going on what do you all think?

I don't think that Gideon will marry Eva to keep her from having to testify against him. That's not very romantic! Being that this a romantic novel, i will be disappointed if that happens. 

No it wouldn't be very romantic but I don't think it will be necessary
