Is it what Brett said about Eva or is it what Gideon saw when Brett showed up at the Crossfire Building and when they went out to lunch?  If Gideon had security detail on Eva before Nathan was killed then I am sure that Gideon would have continued to have Eva’s movements tracked.  What if one of Eva’s security details reported back to Gideon that they were both spotted having lunch together?  Gideon probably saw with his own eyes Brett and Eva meeting in the lobby of the Crossfire Building.  Do you think that would be enough to set his insecurities off? 

Well he sure did know about the lunch because if you remember Angus was there waiting for Eva and he took her back to the Crossfire

Hi Gigi Dallas was is one of my all time favorite shows and I totally agree with you about Gideon being a too obvious choice that is why I'm going with Mr. Barker. LOL

I agree with your agree to disagree thing.  I guess for me, the problem with the theory was always the level of hatred that Gideon would have harboured for Corinne.  At the end of the day, Corinne didn't kill one of his loved ones, she wasn't torturing family pets.  What she did was nasty (no doubt about it), but I think that Gideon would have tempered his anger toward Corinne because of the feelings he once had for her.  I also think that if Gideon grew a little, he would have realized his part in this entire mess. 

 

That's ok though.  I will be Captain of Team Monica/Stanton/Clancy killed Nathan.  Someone has to take up that position and I like the challenge.

 

I don't know if you remember the show "Dallas".  Their famous episode was "Who Shot J.R.?" and there was a huge list of likely suspects.  At the end of the day, the person they thought that shot J.R. didn't (public opinion at the time was the Sue Ellen- J.R.'s wife shot her husband).   I just think that it would too easy and too convenient if Gideon killed Nathan.  There are so many legitimate suspects to choose from in this instance that I don't know if Sylvia would have gone with the obvious choice (i.e. Gideon).  Ultimately we will all find out on June 4th.

I'm returning thoughts to snapshot 1 the newspaper .

With that in mind the Tuesday that Eva had lunch with Brett she took him to the restaurant that her and Cary had been at and papperazzi had photographed then.

So then with that in mind could the papperazzi done the same with her and Brett ?

Witha little digging they surely would have found out that Eva Tramell is the Eva in "Golden"

Breaking that news prior to the concert in time square with a quote from Brett that he wanted to hook up with Eva and make it work.

Any other thoughts ??

Yes I agree I think that's exactly what snippet 1 is the gossip column page 6 is the press and the pen is referring to the song Brett wrote for Eva

My immediate thought was NC or a new hotel a Fu@@ Pad just for them..! I thought about it being Gideon's penthouse but why the ribbon.? And if they are keeping cary in the dark what will eva tell cary about where she is.!? When you see something like that it usually repersents guest... (I'm guessing)..!! Maybe it has nothing to do with the two of them.

I agree I think a possibility is an alternate hotel in town for secret meetings since there may be surveillance at Gideon's and Eva's.

I agree with LN Cronan i don't think they will bring Cary in the loop till the coast is clear. And they may never fully tell him the truth about Gideon killing Nathan. It could be risking having too many people with this big of a secret. Not that Cary would ever intentionally hurt Eva but i think its too risky to tell him about the murder.

I agree. I think Gideon and Eva will take that secret to their graves and no one else will ever know.

If Eva is seeing Gideon in secret at his penthouse where is she telling Cary that she has been all night? She usually calls Cary to tell him when she stays out all night.

I think today's snapshot shows new sheets...like they are moving in together and setting up house in a new place together.

Maybe Gideon purchased the house in North Carolina and they can lay low there on the weekends till the mess with the cops is cleared up

If the Times Square event happened on Friday night maybe Gideon whisks Eva out of town to one of his hotels(hence the towels) to get her away from Brett if he is allowed to leave town.. What do you all think?

No way a look on someone's face can convict a man of first degree murder. As far as we know there is no murder weapon and no one placing him at the scene. There is no physical evidence linking him to this crime and it is a stretch that he could have walked to the hotel committed the murder and walked back in time to resume the party. Their evidence is weak at best. It is Detective Grave's interpretation of the look on Gideon's face ; perhaps he was just gassy LOL

I keep going back to the same point. I do not understand why the NYPD would be wasting their resources trying to solve the homicide of a convicted rapist/child molester. They themselves have seen the evidence of his heinous acts so for them to even pursue it this far is completely unwarranted let alone trying to convict one of the richest men in the world of this crime. Career suicide or career stupidity take your pick. Not only was Nathan a danger to Eva but he was a nature to others as well. He certainly was not cured of his affliction if anything his situation worsened. So I think we should put this to rest and hope Detective Graves gets fired for her tenacity .

Hi Gigi when Eva is up in Gideon's office he states that he wants to do whatever he has to do to spend as much time with her in and out of bed. Also when they are at Crosstrainer he introduces Eva to Daniel as his girlfriend. Eva herself says they are both so confused about what is happening between the two of them that it is easy to fall back into established patterns like Gideon did by taking her to the hotel. So even though she was offended by it she understood it. Gideon wanted to take Eva back to his place for more than sex he wanted her warmth and her presence there too. I think he was reeling by how he felt when she ran out of he hotel and he was trying to process it. At this point already I think it is beyond girlfriend and probably love. What do you all think?

I don't think Corrine is as bad a character though. For some reason I think she will suprise us all.

Her and Eva won't be BFF but I don't think she is such a bad person.

I suppose we can always give her the benefit of the doubt but only June 4th will tell. LOL

I can't wait till Corinne reads PAGE SIX and reads all about Brett Kline serenading his GOLDEN GIRL EVA in the middle of Times Square. I think that is when she will figure out that Gideon is using her. Just Sayin...LOL

I think the new snippets all seem to show Gideon sleeping through the night with Eva. I think this is because Gideon's meds have finally started to take effect. I think he was probably prescribed an antidepressant which takes 3 to 4 weeks to kick in as opposed to a typical sleeping pill but I also think that since the Nathan problem has gone away he doesn't seem to have the vengeful nightmares that I think Eva's situation triggered. what do you all think?

Oh he'll try, but I doubt he'd ever succeed. I think Magdalene was a unique case. He had much better access to Magdalene (families are close and mothers are best friends) -- and Gideon wouldn't have been at any family gatherings. Creepy Christopher probably spent years slowly wearing Magdalene down as Magdalene put up with years of knowing Gideon was getting laid elsewhere while Magdalene was keeping herself unattached.

I also think Corinne is quite a bit older than Christopher and I just don't see that happening at all. I think she should take a break from the Vidals and move on to someone else outside the family LOL

I think this is just another instance where Gideon sneaks into Eva's bed because they are still keeping their relationship undercover. Maybe it is the middle of the night. What do you all think?
