I thought that it was Corrine who said that she talks to Gideon daily. And Gideon told Eva that "most times he is not available to talk."Â

I am thinking that Brett will be the "problem" in this book and not Corrine. I am hoping that the investigation is cleared up early on so we can move on. I think i am in the " gideon did it" club, but i'm not sure. LOL. I have been going back and forth.Â

Maybe Corrine will think that Gideon is using her to make Eva jealous because of Brett Kline. Also, as far as i know there has not been any relationship between Corrine and the Vidals, so i'm not sure that Christopher would be able to get to Corrine like he did with Maggie.

So nice to get a little taste of Gideon and Eva today:)

I have re-read these books some many times it's not even funny. I'm obsessed.Â

Maybe Brett will be doing a performance of golden girl at this event in Times square.

I definitely think that this snapshot ties in with the last snippet. It is a good theory that Brett might announce "Golden Girl."

Ok, this could be a reach be what if....after the Eva and Elizabeth showdown, maybe Elizabeth realized what a bad mother she was. She could possibly reach out to Eva to help her make things right with Gideon again. A long shot but possible!!!

Maybe Gideon did bring Ireland so that he would have an excuse to talk to Eva. Since Ireland and Eva are friendly.

I'm not sure that Elizabeth would reach out to Corrine. I think Elizabeth knows she is on thin ice with her son and she wouldn't want to push any buttons. I'm sure it made a big statement to Elizabeth when Gideon came to the house to get Eva. Especially since he never goes to that house. Elizabeth may not like Eva, but I'm sure she knows just how important she is to him.

I really hope that Ireland and Eva become close, like sisters. Â I think Ireland needs to have family outside of the Vidals.

I think Cary is Team Eva!!! He only wants whats best for her!

I think that Gideon will try his best to not upset Eva after everything she has been through. Even though everything he has done has been for Eva, it still has been really hard on her.

Maybe because of the whole " Brett and Eva" gossip, Gideon won't have to take Corrine out on "dates" anymore. He can hang out with his little sister and lie low until the investigation is over. I am really so over Corrine. Â I want her sent packing. HA

This snippet definitely seems like it comes from an interesting scene. It's Gideon's turn to trust Eva. I agree, i think on some level Cary knows that Gideon and Eva are back together. He has made comments in the past about hearing certain noises from her bedroom;) So imagine how hot the make s@# was. I'm sure if Cary was home he is clued in. LOL

I agree that Brett could help strengthen Gideon's alibi for the cops. I just don't want the whole book to be about the murder investigation and other people trying to sabotage their relationship. I am hoping the story will move forward with the progression of their relationship. It has already been established that they both have people in their pasts who want them back. But this is about their love story and i am eager for their relationship to blossom. I know that sounded a bit cheesy. LOL. Waiting for this book is driving me crazy.

I hope Brett respects Eva's decision to be with Gideon and doesn't start acting like Corrine. Lol Once they can be together in public again. (Gideon and Eva)

I'm not sure if Cary is "Team Brett." i think he knows that Eva cannot be a "rockstar's girlfriend." I do think that he is trying to stir the pot where Gideon is concerned. I think being her best friend he would be very upset at his treatment of her and looking to get under Gideon's skin. I do believe that it will come out that Eva is Golden Girl.Â

@KiMa: I read that book too, just last night actually. Her name was Ana and she was investigating a jewelry heist. I have been reading a lot of Sylvia books lately to pass the time until Entwined comes out. I am very impressed with her writing.

I know he ignored her in that meeting, but I'm thinking that Mark was probably the only one who picked up on it. I'm sure everyone else was just focused on the business. Â The coffee i definitely think is hers because he takes his black.

I think Corrine was/is so desperate to have him that she treads lightly. Deep down i think she knows that he is not in love with her. I don't think she would ask about the ring because she doesn't want to admit the truth to herself.

Do you think that Gideon chose Corrine's apartment? Remember that she asked him to help her get settled when she was moving back to NYC. Just a thought.

I do not believe that Gideon would french kiss Corrine. I think he knows that would hurt Eva TOO much, even if she knows it's just an act. Kissing is a very intimate act. I think all of the "romantic acts" Gideon does with Corrine are in public only!Â

I don't think that Gideon's family will be in cahoots with Corrine. There is no proof that they ever had any involvement with Corrine at all. Gideon moved out at a young age and it doesn't seem like he ever goes back to that house. I think that Gideon is going to end up telling Corrine to go to h***, once he realizes what she has been up to. I do have a feeling that Christopher is definitely going to make a play for Eva, and may even get to experience her Krav Maga skills.Â
