That theory could work. However i really don't think Corrine has any relationship with any of Gideon's family. I am really hoping for this book to focus on Gideon's demons and his journey with Eva. I really feel like they focused enough on Corrine and her attempts to get Gideon back. I feel that Eva has moved past caring about her (Corrine). I'm thinking that she is trying to handle Christopher and thats what Gideon is talking about in that snippet.

I am thinking corrine might be out of the story early( fingers crossed). i really don't think she has any ties with his family. I think they know about her through the press and Maggie. Â I really want to learn about Gideon's childhood and see how they handle this part of their journey together.

I don't know that Elizabeth would team up with Corrine. I don't think she would do anything that would hurt her relationship with Gideon anymore than she already has. I wonder how well they even know Corrine, his own sister doesn't even know him. So i'm thinking that his family doesn't know Corrine well at all. They probably know what Magdalene has told them and what they read in the gossip mags. I definitely think that it's going to come out that Eva is "golden girl."Â

I think he took her to that restaurant because he knew that the paparazzi would be there because it was a hot new restaurant. -
Why would Gideon pretend to leave Eva then? I thought the only reason for their separation was for an alibi.Â

I also don't think the detective is trying to set them up. I think they are being careful at first just to be sure.

I really think that this book is going to focus on Gideon's abuse in his past. I don't see a lot of time being spent on Nathan. I also don't think he is going to face any sort of money problems. I think we are going to get to see many other sides to Gideon, and I can't wait!!!

Hi, I am new to this. I have been reading this forum for months and finally decided to jump in. I ABSOLUTELY love Sylvia Day's writing. I have read many of her books. However the Crossfire series is by far my FAVORITE. I am really hoping that this press release is for the NYPD dropping the case. i want to get right to the good stuff! lol
