  1. I was thinking about the theory involving one of my least favorites characters, Anne. What if she is a member of a physician group? Corinne comes in to find out why she is feeling bad and the test shows she is pregnant. Not sure how it would work out but somehow Anne gets involved. She doesn't tell Corinne about the pregnancy. Anne tells the OB that Corinne is experiencing depression resulting from her failed marriage and ends up treating Corinne as her psychiatrist.

Corrine's prescriptions are signed by the OB/Gyn in the group. Often these multi-physician practices are like a mini clinic with all types of specialties. A physician assistant will get the scripts together before the doctor even comes in to see the patient and signatures are stamped on them. Anne could have stamped another physician's name and no one would think twice about it. Anne is such a sneak I'm sure she would prepare for Gideon stopping by Corinne's house. This would explain why Gideon didn't recognize the doctor's name. It would also explain why a doctor didn't recognize changes in Corinne's behavior. Anne is intentionally trying to hurt Gideon through the person she thinks he wants.

The thing is after the charity benefit Anne knows Gideon is back with Eva. Does this mean Eva is in danger again? Eva expects something but what is she thinking? I'm ready for book 4

Hi Sharon. I always thought that Anne somehow found out that Corinne was pregnant, thinking the baby was Gideons, , and that prescribing antidepressants would result in a miscarriage. She would be hurting Gideon through Corinne. The same as Gideon hurt Lucas through Anne.

In answer to your question, yes Eva is in big trouble, because Anne will realise she got it wrong, and will still want revenge!

  2. Based on your recommendations, I'm reading On Dublin Street right now.  I'm enjoying it.  My only complaint is with the grammatical mistakes.  Number/amount, she/her, me/I, etc.  I wish the editors had caught more of these.

(My one complaint about Sylvia Day's Renegade Angels series is that she keeps saying there are "less than 200 Sentinels" or "less than 200 Fallen" remaining. Fewer! Fewer than 200!)

Sarah, you would have trouble with Cockney rhyming slang! You would tear your hair out! Lol

I agree, sometimes I re read a sentence because it doesn't sound quite right. I think it all depends on where the story is based.

  3. Right ladies I need your help :)

I've been re reading EWY and I've come across something that needs to be shared and discussed . I apologise now if its already been discussed on the forum and I've missed it

It's the night that Gideon and Eva are at the hospital when Corrine has take her overdose.

The text to Angus say " I need her out of here"

It struck me could this mean not Eva but Corrine . Was this text before the brawl in the corridor ?

When Gideon and Giroux were taken away they were flex-cuffed and hustled toward a service elevator by the guards. I blinked when Angus appeared in the doorway, certain I was imagining him.

How could Gideon text if flex cuffed?

And for Angus to be there so quickly was it to deal with the commotion / brawl but he was too late to stop security dealing with it.

Seeing Eva there the need to get her home and safe kicked in for Angus to carry out his duty.

Did Gideon know the potential for Ann Lucas to professional see Corrine if left in that hospital ?

Anyone else got views on this or am I now just reading double meaning into everything now that I've read EWY yet again ! ;)

    Hi Shaz

Somewhere between going to the hospital and before the brawl, Gideon text Angus to come and get Eva. With his mother Giroux and Corinnes parents all there, he probably felt Eva might feel vulnerable given the circumstances.

I think it was a good call on Gideons part, but he should have explained to her. But as per usual, Gideon didn't! He may learn by the end of the series!!

Just for the record, in England, the name of the doctor prescribing the medication doesn't go on the prescription bottle of pills. I assume from comments that this does happen in the USA.

  4. I totally agree about Seven Years to Sin.  Totally see where SD got G and E.  Loved Allistair a lot.  All of the heroes in the Georgian series are great.

Started And the Mountains Echoes.  While the writing is excellent, the subject just was too depressing for me.  There is just too much in life to be depressed about.  Right now, I want light and se xy.  Just me.

    So agree with you.

I want to read to escape the doom and gloom not get sucked into it!

Have you read On Dublin Street. That's a good read. And Janes Melody.

  5. Just finished Ask For It...Very good! I loved A Passion for the Game....St. John was yummy. :)

I've got And the Mountains Echoed by Hosseini to start. That's a totally diff category than these books lol.

Glad you enjoyed the Georgian series. Have you read Seven Years to Sin. Brilliant! You will see where Sylvia gets her inspiration from for the Crossfire books. I keep going on about Alistair, he is gorgeous, in my head! If you haven't read this one, I promise you, you will not be disappointed. All these books are great.

    St. John was scrummy. Lol:)

  6. Thats a good plan:) I have a few other books that i am going to finish and then i will go back and re-read crossfire because its my obsession.

I haven't touched the Crossfire series for three weeks now, been reading Sylvia's Georgian books-brilliant reads. Read Janes Melody-very good read. On Dublin Street-very good read.

Also got Afterburn coming out in 2 weeks. :) just in time when I finish with Gideon. :)
