Hello Ladies- I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow for a week and I've made a momentous decision! . I'm going to leave my Crossfire books behind. I don't think I've gone more than a couple of days without at least a taste, since I discovered them in the spring. So it will be cold turkey. There is wifi where I'm staying so I will have to subsist on board comments and Sheen's luscious photos. I may have to go back into the Chapter a Day favorite quotes section if I get desperate for a fix. Wish me luck. Nancy

Who is HC dating now?

There is no doubt in my mind that Mrs. Cross is going to work at Cross Industries.  Gideon wants her and Eva wants to make Gideon happy.  Besides, the pre-nup gave her 1/2 of everything he earns from the day they are married, she would really be working for herself.

Gideon wants her working with him, but he will need to give her space. She has a good head on those shoulders, she will make mistakes, but it will make a good business woman out of her and it will be a learning curve for her. If Mark joins her, he will guide her as he has done at the moment.

I must admit my oldest daughter and I talk about these books a lot.  (My middle daughter is shy and I don't say to much to her but her sister will share.)  A couple scenes in FSOG I couldn't figure out how Christian got Ana in the position described.  I called my daughter and asked her to try it out with her husband and let me know if it was even possible.  Her husband was game to try and they made me laugh when they described their attempt.

When reading these books my imagination goes onto overdrive! It's like watching a film in my head, putting words to pictures.

she has been rereading the trilogy for so long, the books are literally falling apart. She enjoys the romance, the setting of the novels,  Ana's dealing with the fact that Cristian's filthy rich (the scene when she gets her graduation present from him, a first edition of Hardy's Tess, always cracks my mum up!!) As for the s*x scenes she simply skips them now.

 

BTW: I typed Gideon instead of Christian!!!!

I often wonder about this type of person.  My mother would have punished me for life if I were that rude to someone, especially in a public forum.  I wonder why celebrities even respond to them.
