where Brett is concerned, Eva could do worse. Where Corinne is concerned, Gideon did do worse. We are so naughty!!! ;)

Oh I think Gideon knows, how much Corinne hurt Eva. He knew Eva's insecurities after the limo trip to NC, he just didn't realise how bad they were. Gideon felt the same after seeing Brett with Eva. Gideon knows Corinne still loves him, Eva told him. I'm sure Eva will tell Gideon some of her altercations with the lovely Corinne. Gideon used Eva's love for him against her(Eva ). Everything Gideon told Corinne, she used against her(Eva). Both of them hurt Eva, resulting in Eva's trust being destroyed.

Favourite lines Shawna to Eva. "Holy sh*t, tell me that's for me," Shawna whispered, gripping my wrist like a vise. "Hey you got your own. That ones mine." And it gave me a huge thrill to say so. Mine to clim, to touch, to kiss. And later on, to f*ck to exhaustion. Go yeah..... I also love the banter between Arnoldo and Gideon in the restaurant.

I cannot believe he thought she would never find out. That the cops would never visit her asking about Nathan.His quickly hatched plan had many pitfalls. I agree it was for her benefit. Even if it meant loosing her, he knew she would be safe. This poor deluded man. Now we have new Eva. She has grown, respecting herself, more self assured and happier, but I think the jealously will always be lurking in the shadows. Even chapter one confirms this. U Gideons story will be a mirror image of Eva's I think. How he grows and learns just like Eva did. Deja vu. Bring it on.

Well lady. Your brain matter woke up refreshed this morning. I don't think Gideon will relax with his insecurities, until Eva says "I do". He needs that level of commitment I think, to put him in a better place. Eva telling him, she loves him won't be enough. It will drive him insane knowing, Brett or someone else could tempt Eva. Poor guy is going to have it rough-no pun intended-over the next couple of weeks! Starting in 12 days time :)

The audio books take it to a new level. The way Jill Redfield expresses herself, is good. You pick up things differently to how you might read it.

I think you could be right. This book is not just about Gideon and Eva. Sylvia said the other characters had to sort their lives out too. Could this be about Brett holding a torch for Eva? He said he never forgot about her, hoping she old turn up at one of his concerts. There's the "Golden" song, and something is going to happen in Times Square. Just a thought, Sharon said its followed by a hospital pic. Could he overdose after being rejected by Eva? :(

Me too. I did post a comment a while ago telling them it wasnt her fault and to give her a break, some woman was giving her grief. It would do my head in the way they repeat themselves. Their like wolves baying for blood!
