It was fun visiting with you all today.  Hopefully Sylvia will start quoting Reflected on Monday, Entwined on Tuesday and snippets for Captivated on Wed and a release date on Thursday.

It looks like the administrator for the site moved the "Books as good as Crossfire" to the Introduction site.  My guess is they want to share the suggestions with everyone on the site and it really isn't Crossfire related.  I signed up for updates.  I want to continue to keep my list uptodate.

Sorry I just one more quick question on the subject; is/are said actors able to realistically sell the book (so to speak)?  Is he/she believeable in their telling of the story? Thanks everyone. 

 

The person reading the book isn't trying to be the characters (in my opinion) it is more like going to the library or book store for a book reading.  I like to close my eyes and let my imagination take over as she reads to me. 

Since they announced the name of the 4 book "captivated by you", I keep thinking that Gideon could be in jail.

 

The same happens in entwined with you, obviously they get married.

 

Somehow Deanna find out that Gideon was the main suspect for the death of Nathan and she makes it public.  The true came to the spotlight, so they FBI reopen the case. They find out about the Eva and Gideon’s marriage so they suspect that there is something to hide with all the lies.

 

I really don’t know, we are just guessing right.

 

As Gigi mentioned the timeline Sylvia set up doesn't fit for a murder trial.

 

Since Sylvia told us book 4 & 5 is Gideon's story I think Captivated is how Gideon is trapped in his history and how Eva sets him free.

Monica is very busy trying to meet Gideon's requirement for a quick wedding.  She is very stressed by the pressure but she succeeds.  At the reception, she faints from exhaustion.....she thinks but she is pregnant.   Baby daddy is Victor!!

 

 

REMINDER

 

Monica and Victor got together at Eva's apartment.  This was their second meeting after not seeing each other for 25 years.  Victor had returned to New York when he learned Eva had been abused by her stepbrother.  The love Victor and Monica felt for each other was obvious.

 

Most important, Monica is less then twenty years older then Eva.  Her age would be 43 or younger.

 

Good theory Betty but I can't see how the book could go this way. 

 

• Monica hasn't been pregnant since Eva so she is either on birth control or can't have any more children.  All of her husbands can't be sterile. 
• Besides that would be a terrible turn of events for Victor.  He suffered enough over the years and he knows he can never marry Monica.  She can't give up money regardless of how much she loves Victor.  She admitted this to Eva. 
• Finally I just don't see Sylvia taking this road she loves a happily ever after and I don't think Eva would get there if she watched her dad hurt again.

Hi Sharon I've been distracted for a few days by reading the Gabriel Series but now that I am finished I am back to obsessing over GidEva and am more than ready for CBY!!

 

sscrph,  I keep reading many of the books suggested but I keep coming back looking for a Gid/Eva fix.

You're right it must be a proof reading error after the translation.  When I talked to Sylvia she said she hadn't thought about Eva getting the 10th floor for offices.  We will see how it turns out when she actually writes the book.

Think these last 9 characters will take us a while to kill.

Hopefully Sylvia will have a release date for CBY before we kill Gideon or Eva !

I think if anyone finds out that Eve and Gideon are already married that there might be no NY wedding will come.

Most people are talking about the 10th floor where Eva and Gideon had sex.

This is the  floor that get renovated.

I think this is the 9th floor and not the 10th.

In my e-book it is also  9th floor (page 170)

 

I can not wait for book 4

 

Per my Nook e book, paperback and audio "The elevator car slowed to a stop on the tenth floor and the doors opened to the high-pitched whirring sound of power tools and the rhythmic banging of hammers."

I'm debating between starting the KGI or the Gabriel series... hmmm.  Inputs on which is better?

 

I skimmed the list and didn't see these, so I thought I'd share.  I just finished the Highlander series and really liked them.  They are very easy reads ~300 pages or so each.

Me too!  I really don't want to wait until next year for Captivated.

Got a question for everyone.  I have been re-reading the books to get my Gideon fix.  And in EWY, after Eva sees Gideon in the lobby with Corinne, she takes the elevator up to her office on 20, but it stops on 10 and won't close, etc.  So she gets out, knowing that Gideon is doing this.  "... to let me out and another guy stepped out with me.  The doors closed behind us and the car continued on.

 'What the ######?' the guy said, scowling as he turned and surveyed the other three elevators. ...ding announcing the arrival of another car.... Doors to that elevator opened, Gideon stepped out....  Grumbling under his breath, the short sleeved guy walked into Gideon's vacated elevator and left us."  Page 177

 

This has 'niggled' me a bit.  Is this a random guy that stepped out of the car, or was this something more?  Following Eva?  For Gideon? For Stanton/Monica?  For someone else?  For some reason I don't think this is a police tail, but I don't know why. 

 

 

My impression is the guy got off the elevator because he was nervous that it wasn't moving.  He walked into Gideon's elevator because it didn't stall.  I know I would jump off an elevator if it stopped for no reason.

I read your comments about Gideon and Eva's upcoming wedding and I can totally see where you are coming from. I think that if Eva had not caught her mother tracking her movements through her graduation gift (a.k.a. the watch), then I could totally have seen Eva just handing the reins over to her mother.

It was something that Eva said in Entwined; along the lines of something had broken between her and her mother, so I could potentially see Eva finally making a stand with her mother, and the wedding venue may just be it. I could be wrong, but I wonder if Monica has finally taken one too many liberties with her daughter (and her daughter is finally fed up). What do you think? What does everyone think?

I disagree. More than once Eva worried that her mother's feelings would be hurt. She didn't want Monica to think Eva excluded her and eloped to hurt her. Eva loves her moher regardless. She will let Monica run the NY wedding.

There isn't any BDSM that I recall.  There is one time that one of the guys ties a woman to the bed but it is more fun play than anything else.  I've read them all and like them a lot.  I classify them as romantic adventure or romantic mystery.
