I apologize if this is a duplicate question. I am busy this week and I haven't had the time to read everything.  I'm still confused about Graves:      The detectives stop by Eva's and ask her about Nathan and the Russian mob.      Gideon knows he was given a get-out-of-jail-free card and he wants to know why.      Gideon's lawyers tell him the case is cold or on the shelf.       Eva runs into Graves at the Krav Maga class and she is told don't worry the case is cold.      At the same session Graves told Eva she needs to worry about the bracelet.  What's up with all the mixed messages? Is Graves still playing with Eva? Isn't the prosecution required to give the defense accurate information? If yes, why is Graves still hounding Eva?

One more thought about the video. I suspect the Chris Jr. knows about the sex tape and told his mother as a way to continue to drive a wedge between her and Eva. The sad thing is I don't think Elizabeth would hurt Gideon again if she knew he was already married. I think deep down Elizabeth knows that she failed her son; she just can't admit it out loud. Eva saw the love in Liz's eyes when she looks at Gideon. I think if Gideon ever talks to his mother she will see how happy he is with Eva.Â

A couple thoughts. The discussion about the Gideon/Terry relationship. I think that by the time Gideon went to Terry there would be an indication of rape. If he was still at the hand job stage why would Gideon be so angry. He would know that there wasn't any tangible proof of abuse. I don't know what was going on when the first doctor say Gideon but I'm positive that Terry had proof that he covered up.  Regarding Corinne. I think her husband found her and called Corinne's parents, like a husband should. I suspect Corinne's parents were at an event with Liz and went to the hospital together. Eva knows that JFG told Corinne about her engagement and that sent her over the edge. I agree with everyone that Gideon never should have gone to the hospital. Even if he did, it would make more sense if he took in the situation and left knowing that her husband was there. Gideon continues to take too active a role in Corinne's life and problems.

 I agree.  Lunch is over...back to work until I can take a break. I think I'm addicted to this website and the only fix won't be here for another 5 or 6 months. Not that reading book #4 will cure the addiction it will just mean we will go dark again for a couple days.

 Yes me too. She talks about Angus and Clancy a lot. Sometimes I think she is closer to Clancy than she is to her mother because she can talk to him. It was interesting that it surprised her that she didn't know Clancy was married.Â

 My theory is that Stanton knows that Monica is still in love with Victor (e.g. Corinne/JFG) and he does this stuff so she won't leave him. I think the reason he helped Gideon via Clancy is so that Monica won't jeopardize her daughter's happiness. (Crazy theory I know but it isn't the first crazy theory I've had.)

 Me too. This will probably come out as part of Gideon's story that Sylvia is telling in the next two books.  I think Gideon set up boundaries for his mother and the Vidal's. Like Tableau One is my place your not welcome. Arnoldo is my friend don't try to associate. Cary is Eva's friend, Eva is mine therefore Cary is mine don't mess with him.

 It wasn't Raul. In fact, I don't think it is anyone on Gideon's team or Gideon would know. It has to be Clancy. If it is someone else it will be another person trying to destroy/blackmail/whatever Gideon and/or Eva.

 Elizabeth is delusional. I remember at the garden party she was happy that Gideon came to the house and even started to kiss him but he pulled away. Then she invited Eva and Gideon to dinner and Gideon lifted his eyebrow as if to say you have got to be kidding. The only reason I'm here is to get Eva & Cary.  I think the only reason his mother was at his penthouse was because he wanted to discuss taking Vidal Records public and he refused to come to their house.  Eva said it is obvious that she loves her son; Eva could see it in Elizabeth's eyes. I think at this point it is easier to tell herself that Gideon was a troubled child instead of admitting the truth after all these years. If she admits the truth then she will have to admit that she failed her son. It must be a terrible burden for her because she knows, especially after Eva told her about the dreams, that she did fail as a mother.  Like Gideon was an easy target for Jean Francois, Eva is an easy target for Elizabeth. Not only that, Eva is the only person that Gideon has discussed this incident with.Â

 I agree with you. As soon as I read about the Mafia twist Clancy came to mind and every time I re-read or listen I am more convinced. I think Clancy is upset that he failed Cary and he is making up for, what he considers, an error on his part.

LN - I was reading your post on the other thread and it reminded me of a conversation that I really wanted to hear Gideon & Eva have. I was really hoping that they would discuss the call Eva made when Gideon was at the police station. Eva was so hurt when she found out Gideon saw the pictures and Gideon was so hurt when he realized Eva thought seeing the videos and pictures was the reason he broke up with her.  I know he they mention the videos when he is talking about their dreams, and I'm not sure what they would say, but I wish a conversation would happen.

 I think the reason she said she doesn't like Stanton half the time is because he backs her mother when she was tracking her phone, letting her go wild with her over protectiveness, etc. She thinks Stanton should support Dr. Petersen's efforts to let go.

 I like Scarlet in some things but she isn't consistent. I'm not a big fan either but if she is chosen I hope she is on point.

 I made a similar comment about Christopher earlier today. I don't really see that in FSOG however. There are similarities between FSOG and Crossfire but I don't think they are telling the same story. I don't think Gideon is going to buy WF&L because he doesn't want Eva working on projects that benefit his competitors. I think that Gideon will have a division that Eva will run along with her foundation. I haven't decided if Mark will come to work for Gideon and Eva yet but it is a very good possibility.

 I agree. I never thought the baby was Gideon's but I did think that Corinne was trying to get Gideon in the sack so she could make him think it was his. That never happened. Personally I don't even think he kissed her goodnight.

 Since he didn't know what was going on in Eva's mind at the time, he probably just pulled the information and barely perused the data and pictures.Â

LN as much as I know that Gideon used Corinne to help with his alibi I just can't believe that he would use Elizabeth to send a message to Corinne that he was going to ask her to marry him. I don't get the impression that he is that heartless. It hurts him that he is using Corinne at all and making her think, even a little, that a ring is coming is a heartless thing to do.

 You're right I forgot she offered to cancel. I guess that is something.

 I don't think he asked Elizabeth. He had the ring already waiting for his dreams to be answered.
