I just had a thought.  What if Deanna is Anne Lucas' sister? Maybe she isn't a natural brunette but colored her hair to make Eva think she is an ex. Â

 It doesn't make sense to me. If they were just social dates why would she be so angry. The type of anger and/or revenge she feels would be the result of a woman who felt used sexually. IMO. If she just attended social affairs she may have wanted more but would that make her lash out at Gideon and want to do an expose?  Another thing I can't get my head around is if these women chase Gideon and he has a role in the hay with them why would any of them be angry. Gideon does seem like the kind of guy who would make any promises of a future. Maybe it is the fact that he likes it rough with toys. Deanna agrees to play because she thinks it will be more but I just can't figure it out.

 I think I've had too much time on my hands. It says in the book it was the doctoral student but then I kept thinking about it and tried to put my own twist on the story instead of staying with Sylvia's story.

I'm actually surprised he went home, knowing that his daughter had been interviewed by the police investigating a murder so close to home. Especially given Eva's reaction to the news. Didnt alarm bells start ringing? Or perhaps he thought he could investigate better from his side of the country. Â I had the idea that he didn't really go home but then I wondered why he would stay in NY and not with Eva. My guess is he went home and started to investigate and then put in for extended leave for personal reasons and returned to NY unannounced.Â

 Watching different news reports the child abuser is often married with children or his/her own. I don't think it unusual.

 I first thought Vidal Sr. was involved. I wonder if the doctoral student was the first abuser and then Vidal stepped in. But then the more I think about it I think Dr.Terry was the doctoral student. He is in his 40s now which would make him in his 20s when Gideon was abused.

 This is sold out. I'm on the waitlist but so far, no one has cancelled.Â

  I hope you are wrong about the way he deals with Gideon. Eva loves her dad and she loves Gideon. I the reveal to Victor is going to hard enough on Eva I don't want her to worry that her dad doesn't like Gideon too.Â

 Personally I don't think he will be as angry with Cary & Gideon. They are Eva's friends and they kept the secret at her request. As far as Monica she was the parent that kept the information from him.  I think Victor would even understand that Stanton is Monica's husband and, therefore, following her lead. I think it would be wise if Eva had the conversation with her dad. It is possible that Gideon can help her.

 Graves said they found the pictures and videos in Nathan's room. If he gave any to Gideon they were copies.

 I like this theory. I need the book too!. I have my boss hooked now so we are both planning lunches/breaks/days around reading.

  I hear what you are saying but in books, TV & the movies bail is often given regardless of flight risk. I think if Sylvia takes that road that leads to a trial she will have Gideon out on bail. It will advance the romance more. I don't see Eva/Gideon in a situation where they will have conjugal visits.Â

 I have a feeling that Gideon is aware of the guest list including Eva. Sylvia said there is going to be more alone time for our couple but what if Gideon still wants to show her off in a subtle way. He would ask her to attend. Also, Gideon told Eva that he will introduce Cary to any contacts that he needs they don't have to depend on his family.

I have a couple thoughts about the comments today.   Gideon's quiet demeanor--I have a feeling that he is so concerned about Eva after seeing the pictures but especially the videos that Nathan has. Can you imagine hearing her cries as her step-brother rapes her? I'm sure seeing these videos also brought back some of his own past. I think he is mentally working through ways to fix this for Eva but foremost in his mind is protecting her.  Regarding Victor and his relationship with Gideon - I'm confident that he is going to see the evidence that the NYPD found in Nathan's room which will include the graphic "trophies" that Nathan recorded. I believe Victor is a father first and as much as he is a police office, even cops will take matters in their own hands on occasion. I think it would be difficult for any parent to view pictures of their child from the age of 10 to 14 being raped. I know I would be able to forgive anyone who protected my child. It will also come out that Nathan is the person who violently attached Cary, a man they all love and consider family. He knows that it wouldn't be long before Nathan got to Eva. Graves and company know this too.  Sylvia's surprise - I feel there will be a trial at some point too. I believe there has to be something that will remove the treat of arrest from hanging over the couple's head. I don't think Gideon will be in jail however. I think someone posted that he wouldn't get bail because he is so wealthy and can run easily. I just don't see Sylvia putting Gideon in jail for any length of time so she will probably fall back on creative license and keep him free.  June 4th is getting closer!

 I haven't worked that out in my mind yet, and I could be way off base, but I was thinking they might stage a scene of some kind. It might make Deanna think that Eva is ready to help her get Gideon but it is just a ploy to get information from her.Â

 I'm not saying that Deanna showing up isn't part of a plan. I think any interaction with Deanna is used to manipulate a story they want out, however, using Deanna would mean Gideon/Eva are up to some kind of mischief. It isn't my favorite theory but it is a theory.

I am thinking about some of the comments from all of you and I wonder if Cary is really causing mischief or if Eva is causing it. She is the one who called Gideon from the bar. Gideon comes in and finds her dancing with someone else. Maybe Eva is trying to leverage some power to get Gideon out in the open with their relationship. What if she lets Deanna know that Cross is going to show up at the bar. Could it be part of their plan to use Deanna?  I just can't see Cary hurting Eva if he knows she wants to be with Gideon. Maybe it is wishful thinking on my part but there are so many people out to hurt these two; I like to think of Cary as an ally.Â

 I think the publisher will try to get the book out by the end of the year, if possible. Personally I think there is a lot of anger with the way this book's release was pushed back. The publisher doesn't want to anger Syliva or her fans any more.Â

I love "Eternity with You" especially if it is the end of the series. Great suggestion.

I just finished my MBA and I have too much time on my hands. I spend a lot of my free time analyzing and re-evaluating what we get from Sylvia and here trying to figure out what is going to happen. I think I have turned this into another assignment.

 Love your analysis. I have been working on my own project to figure out the clues. I printed out the pics, snippets, etc and put them together but not as successfully as you did. Great job.

 This is a great interview. I love all the little hints that Sylvia has released lately. I just can't wait for the next book. I think this alone time puts a new twist on some of the snapshots released. I have a feeling that Eva and Gideonl look for ways to get away in the evenings maybe Atlantic City or hotels in NYC or the beach. Can't wait. (I know I said that already but I just can't wait.

Do the choices you make in life follow you everywhere? This could mean a lot of answers in this book. In addition to Eva and Gideon there is Angus, Dr. Terry, Deanna, Corinne, Cary, Monica, and Elizabeth.Â
