I love all the sex scenes but my favorite is the library.  It is so sexy but it is also very informative. It shows the reader how good they can be for each other. As a team they can get each other past all the old baggage and abusive and make a new life for one another.  I love the new one in Chapter 1 & 2. It is a window into their future.

If it is a watch it is probably time for us to get the books.Â

 I'm with you there. I don't know what the picture is but I know you can't trust everyone around you. What if Stanton turns out to be a bad guy? Or at least bad for the Gideon / Eva match up.  I just realized it is less than 2 weeks now to reading about Eva & Gideon.

 I can live with this. Let's see if you are on the same wavelength as Sylvia.

Great pictures. I like Henry and Amber for Gideon & Eva most. Hopefully their schedules/contracts/etc. will line up.

 I hope not I'm almost 60 and I still like to dream.

 I have a question about this. Do you see Cary thinking this after he realizes Nathan attacked him or before? I kind of think Cary will change his mind once he realizes Gideon thought being in Eva's life was a danger to her and her friends.Â

 Eva couldn't safe word because she needed to tell Gideon how she felt about Corinne but she was afraid. She believed she deserved the punishment just as she believed that Gideon deserved to be punished by her kissing Brett. Gideon knew she was lashing out at him. He said to her "you knew I would be coming after you."

I also want to say again that I want to know more about Angus. I hope Sylvia opens up about him in one of the three remaining books. I think he is such a good person.

This is a hard chapter to read but there was hurt on both sides. Gideon isn't very confident with his relationship with Eva. We watch over and over that even a little attention from another man makes him crazy and Eva knows that too.  Eva asked herself "why hadn't I pulled away sooner? Why had I kissed Brett back?" so even before Eva & Gideon were in the limo alone she knew something was off with her actions.  "Looking back I had no idea what had come over me."  "Gideon's life was spiraling out of control because of me"  I believe she was thinking back to the perfect picture in her mind that Corrine and Gideon made; Eva believed the picture of her and Gideon was flawed and she wasn't worthy.   Then when Gideon gets in the limo Eva thinks to herself "I cringed away from the horrible bitterness in his tone...I knew just how he felt. how badly the mental images could sting and claw until you felt like you were going mad. In my mind, he and Corinne had f***** dozens of times while I watched in sick, jealous fury."  Eva knew why she kissed Gideon but she didn't want to admit it out loud. Gideon wanted her to talk it out but their communication skills were so bad that he used the only tool he knew to get her to open up...s#x.  I must admit I cry for both of them through the whole chapter. It is very said that two people who love each other so much can intentionally hurt each other because they both feel unworthy.Â

I keep thinking about the question "What is the cost of your love?"  It could be a discussion about the past when Eva was taken to the hospital with the miscarriage. Maybe someone isn't going to the hospital in the present day but a discussion takes place about the past. Then what if this discussion is between Monica and Victor? Maybe they have a confrontation and then has some kind of cardiac event it could be either one of them.

  I think you're right. I didn't get this the first read through but the second time I read it I felt like she was his angel that he prayed for from first sight.

  I will be disappointed with Cary if he becomes a Brett advocate mainly because he saw how Eva was hurt. He knows the life of rocker's girlfriend and he knows that Eva won't handle it well. He said so. Even if Brett is a good guy (and I think he is) I know from experience it is tough being the girlfriend of a lead singer even if they aren't in the national spotlight. I would want my best friend to help me through a tough spot not throw me into another difficult relationship. I'm sure you are right but I just don't want it to happen. I want someone on the Eva/Gideon bandwagon and I think most people won't be. My hope is that my and/or Eva's best friend would support her decisions to love the person she wants and needs to love.

  I like the other characters too. I read the books several times and I don't normally re-read a book immediately after reading the 1st reading.  I think the reason I'm more involved with this series (and read it over & over) is because Sylvia develops all the characters. Regardless of whether I love or hate them I learn something about everyone in the book. The support characters have a purpose and stir emotions. I love that. The characters aren't just dropped in and leave the reader scratching her head wondering there has to be more.  I often speculate about the support characters in the Crossfire series, and hope to learn more in some cases, but at the end of the trilogy I felt cheated. I wanted to know, at a minimum, the conversation between mother-in-law & daughter-in-law about the evil b**ch troll. That said I will go back and read the other books again sometime but not until I've had my fill of Gideon & Eva.  Another thought -- I enjoyed these books so much that they make me want to ready more by Sylvia

I was just looking at the pictures again and one of the concert pictures is followed by the hospital picture. I hope Gideon doesn't get in a serious fight with Brett.Â

I really don't want Brett to be as big an issue as it appears he is going to be. I really hope he isn't going to team up with Cary to try and get Eva back. To me, that seems like a betrayal of a friend. If I'm interpreting this correctly there are 4 pictures that potentially point to Brett. He could be a theme through 1/3 of the book. It's making me crazy.Â

 I don't blame her either. Some of the posters on FB are just ridiculous. I want to slap them myself.
