I guess I have to keep in mind that I tend to read more mysteries and thrillers so I'm probably going down the wrong path for a romance novel.

 I talked my neighbor into reading these books the other day and we came to this same thought this afternoon. I showed her the snapshots and clues and we were putting them together trying to see where they lead us. Almost immediately when she looked at the last snapshot and said they are going to deal with someone releasing Nathan's pictures. She thinks someone was working with Nathan maybe Deanna. I don't know if that is a possibility but it sounds good and could be a way for Gideon & Eva to take on the world together in Book 4.

I check my library every day to see if my book downloaded early but not yet. :-(

I am so jealous. I was hoping to get to New York when I was in Baltimore but I couldn't work it in.

Also, if it was money, that would explain Gideon's gaining controlling interest in Vidal's music business. Now Gideon controls the purse strings.

 I think it is going to turn out to be money. I think Vidal Sr. didn't want bad publicity and bought the young doctor off. If he was newly married and saddled with a lot of student loans, he would be an easy target. Also, Vidal may have sent patients his way. I think the doctoral student will turn out to be related to Vidal or Lucas.

I like today's chapter it gives the reader hope. There are still tears for Eva and the reader but it kind of shows a Phoenix side to Eva. I think about her golden hair with lighter highlights are the sun pulling Eva from the ashes and bringing her back to life. (I like Greek mythology)  I like the new Eva. She is a strong woman, stronger than most the people around her, and now she knows it.Â

 I like this idea. I'm looking forward to solving old questions and asking new ones. It is great meeting with all of you regularly.

I still think that Gideon was honest with Corinne from the beginning of his little" play" that he was performing for the police. I also think that Corinne knows that Gideon isn't that into her anymore.  I have a feeling that after he (Gideon) puts his hand on her back as he leads her to the car once they are in the car Corinne & Gideon are sitting as far from each other as possible. The more I think about it, if Corinne thought that she was reeling Gideon in, why would she have staged that "just f#*k" meeting for Eva at her apartment. You just don't do that.  If Corinne felt Gideon was even slightly interested in her romantically she would have opened the door and let Eva see how secure she is in her relationship with Gideon. That would hurt Eva more than the little head trip she tried to play.  I'm not saying that Corinne won't be hurt when she sees Gideon & Eva back together but she knows the truth deep down.         3

 I don't think Gideon is going to be hanging with Corinne anymore. Even if he is sneaking around, I suspect he will tell Corinne he is "working late" or some other excuse to start cutting ties. He can't continue to hurt Eva that way anymore. (I hope! I hope!)

I would like this to be their wedding picture but since this isn't a trilogy but a pentalogy I have a feeling it is going to be something else. I'm thinking way back in Bared Gideon told Eva he would make anything Cary wanted to happen regarding music videos, this could be his video.

These pictures take me up and down. I'm think the book is going to give a little joy and then slap these characters back down again.  This clue could be anyone. Corinne holding on to Gideon when he doesn't want her.  Gideon holding on to the pain from the past  Cary holding on to his bad habits  Monica & Elizabeth holding on to their lies that hurt their children.

 This could be a tearful read. Looks very bad. I'm thinking we are learning a lot about Gideon.

 This is perfect. I'll get off work at 4 and by the time I get home, there will be plenty of chatter to read and respond to. Looking forward to the 7th almost as much as the 4th (almost but not quite).

 Even if they changed his name society people would know him just like they know Madoff's family now.

I agree completely. I just think she had to be told. In my opinion it is after this point that Eva starts to get a hold of her situation. She hits bottom so to speak, but she has all the information, except what Gideon did, and starts to fight back.Â

Another really sad part was when Eva bit her arm to stifle her cry. I felt her pain. It made me wonder about Cary. Didn't he cut himself as part of a self mutilation syndrome? I wonder if Eva did too.

 But don't you think once the police started investigating, the records are unsealed then Victor starts his own investigation after the meeting. I think it would be harder on Eva to find out from her father. Personally, I think everyone keeps so much from Eva it is time to give her all the information. She needs to get control of her own destiny.Â

This is the hardest chapter to read. I felt so bad for Eva and Gideon. My heart breaks for Eva and I cry like a baby every time I read this part of there story. Poor Gideon, I could feel his pain too. As heartless as he appears at this point, he didn't want to hurt Eva. I'm sure he wanted to hug her but he couldn't because of his flawed plan.  LN - I think Monica had to tell Eva about the photos. The police were going to tell her eventually anyway and I'm sure they would come up in a trial if there is one.

  Good post. It is getting close we can actually see light at the end of the tunnel.

  This picture makes me smile. It's been a very busy day. What a way to sit down and relax and dream of good things.Â

 He has gorgeous eyes. He could play a tormented soul and let his eyes do the talking.

It is possible that once Gideon ruined his abuser's career, the abuser killed himself so his family can't get any additional information from him. I don't know why but I think Deanna is more than just a former sex partner. It would be like a groupie regretting her one night stand. It doesn't make sense to me.
