I think the EWY is going to show a lot of Gideon's struggles, especially with his insecurities over Brett, but like you said Eva is so much stronger now and more determined to get answers from Gideon about his pains and struggles and I think she is the only one who will bring him out of his shell so fingers crossed for both of them

I know with the records being broken with Nathans death I would have hoped that Stanton could still protect most of the content from the prying eyes of the reporters, surely and LN you will probably know better than us, but I would have thought some of it could still be sealedÂ

I so agree, I actually started reading Crossfire last August when I was going through a Pancreatic Cancer Scare and only 3 weeks ago got the all clear so far but am being kept a close eye on as we have this cancer in our family. Â Hence the big trip next year to New York for me and Memphis for my hubby, it has been a horredously hard time but like all good Scottish people and many other people around the world do, we just get on with us. Â Us Scots are classed as hard nuts, well we are certainly nuts LOL. Â I love how you can just escape in these stories, imagine you are Eva or just imagine you are watching from the outside but crying, laughing, hoping, praying and wishing alongside these characters and I love Sylvia for giving us all that, she makes what we are going through in life disappear for a wee while so you can just relax and enjoy. Â

sorry just looked at picture again, it says "will you learn from mistakes of the past" NOT your past (not shouting here by the way just emphasing the not word), it could be the mistakes from any one of their pasts coming back to haunt them or like my theory of Cary, he is always pushing people away as his mum did to him so maybe he is still pushing Trey away or even Eva as his past - his mum pushing him away - is the only way he knows how to deal with situations or not to deal with them. Â You know how Eva always say's Cary screws up his relationships well I think this past of his is the crux of the problem.Â

have you noticed the surrounds of the chair, it looks like a desolate room, not loved, but cold, could this have something to do with Cary's home life as a young boy when his mum was so uncaring for him ?

Sorry Ladies been a way from site for most of Saturday so just catching up now. Â OMG this is so confusing but I like your idea here about taking the bull by the horns, it needs to be done and hopefully in this book, most of it will be done and we shall get some closure on some of the things that are in our minds. Â It is great coming in here as I sometimes have a thought to what a clue could be then read what everyone else thinks and start to think, yes that could be it or no I think it is the other way round, it is great having all these ideas floating around. the thing I love about reading on my Ipad especially if I am somewhere public is that you can have a stupid great big smile on your face reading Gideon and Eva and no one knows what you are reading, making it a bit mysterious lol

Welcome Kaz  Originally I wondered if it was Nathan but now he is dead and Megumi is still seeing this guy, I changed tactics and thought maybe it is Chris Jr as you never see Chris Jr at Eva's office, he always goes up to Gideons office and his family have a place in the Hamptons which I presume the Vidals would have, could be way off base here but there has been a bit of talk in the books about her boyfriend
