  1. Okay. Update.

In May 2005, my first story will be published in the anthology Wicked Words: Sex on Holiday by Virgin Books Black Lace imprint.

Then in early 2006 my three pack of historical novellas will be published by Kensington Brava.

    :D

  2. I want to:

[*]finish my anthology by deadline. [-o<

[*]conceive my next story, pitch it, write it, turn it in.

[*]learn everything there is to know about promoting a book.

[*]find a balance between writing and cleaning my house.

[*]lose the 12 lbs I've gained spending the last year of my life in an office chair.

[*]strengthen my existing circle of online friends. :smt024

[*]really enjoy and learn a lot during my trip to Reno for the convention.

[*]go on a weeklong (or longer) vacation with my family.

      [*]find more auto-buy authors. :study:

[*]get back into the habit of going to the spa every couple of weeks for a pedicure.

[*]find something to do with my long hair besides wear it wrapped up in a clip.

[*]spend more time with my kids. :D

        I'll be adding more...

  3. Okay, I need to pay attention to my horoscope and have a little more confidence:

The weight of uncertainty lurks within your subconscious mind now. You can easily succumb to this self-made terror and hold back from encounters in the outer world. Or you can face your fears by engaging cautiously and thereby overcoming your own instinctive resistance to pain. The more light you shine on hidden places, the better you'll feel about life in general.
Even though it's a weekend, your mind may be on work, or at least on your overall life goals. Your perspective now is intense and your drive can even tend toward being ruthless. Be clear about what you want and state it as conscious intention. But then you must detach yourself from the outcome or you will just get in your own way.
  4. Thank you, Jordan! I really, really appreciate your confidence in my future. :D

I'm not sure what's going on. I'm back to feeling like the deer caught in the headlights. 8-[

I'm one of those people who watches horror movies, covers their eyes in the gross parts, and says, "What's happening? What's going?" but refuses to look herself. That's the way I feel right now.

  6. Hi Linda!

Life is rushing ahead as always, dragging me along with it!! I'm charging through a manuscript edit now. Hard work, but the story is dear to me, so I'm trying to keep that in mind as I push myself.

I love Dean Koontz!! I've read several books by him, my favorites are his Christopher Snow series--Fear Nothing and Seize the Night--both of which remind me of Fort Ord, California. I was stationed at the nearby Presidio of Monterey for a couple of years. My sister was just transferred to Fort Gordon, Georgia.

I would love a magnet!!! Thank you so much for thinking of me! I can send you a SASE if you e-mail me your address.

  7. Thank you, Jordan and HelenKay!!!

Kelly Harms of Avon judged the historical category and called me "a great storyteller"!!!! :bounce:

    Kelly Harms!!! Avon!!! :prayer:

It's just too cool. I'm completely humbled by the experience. I'll never get over it. Never.

  8. Yay!!! I WON!!!
