Hi everyone, How about from page 8. "Five minute with Mr. Dark and Dangerous and I was filled with any edgy, restless energy. I could still feel the pull of him, the inexplicable urge to back inside where he was."  Ok, so there are two lines there, but I am sure we all get the picture...Sigh! So many of the good lines are gone...Sigh!

Hi ShazScott1980, You are great! I can just see everyone scrambling to pick out their favourite lines from the book and waiting until the appropriate time to post first! A new frenzy has begun! So until we get to EWY I guess that line is still up for grabs (just kidding)! Â

 Hi Donnad, At least you get to choose the hair colour you would like to be. Hey you may even decide to go blonde which means as far as Gideon is concerned, you would wind up at the front of the line.  The rest of us brunettes, haven haired beauties will be at the back, kicking rocks.

On Page 219, Sylvia clearly states that "His mother AND sister had his colouring, both women boasting the same glossy obsidian hair and thickly lashd blue eyes. To me that statement means that both Elizabeth Vidal and Ireland Vidal have obsidian black hair. What am I missing?

Hi Sscrph, You make a good about how Elizabeth Vidal acted toward Eva at the garden party. I have to say that the entire interaction between Elizabeth Vidal, Christopher Sr. and Eva was just plain weird. It is also like watching a bad episode of "Dark Shadows". It was almost surreal. What do you think? What does everyone think?

Hi Julie54, So why would Eva describe Ireland and her mother both having the same kind of obsidian hair colouring as Gideon? It doesn't make sense. There is a huge difference between the two; one is black and the other is brown. Perhaps there is an interchange of the wording. What do you think?

 Hi Jeanmarie, I think we will all have to wait and see until June 4th to get some definite answers. Thus far, we have speculated up the wazoo and have had steam come out of our ears. It is obvious that there are many key elements that are missing in order for the reader to be able to assess this specific situation accurately. Otherwise, I think there might be a round of fisty-cuffs amongst some of the readers.Â

Hi Julie54, I thought that Eva was making that comment to Cary, since he had just entered into the picture. Sylvia had clearly written on the pages before that both Gideon and Ireland had black hair and blue eyes (just like their mother).  I have no idea what to say. Where would Ireland have gotten her brunette hair from?    I also wonder even if Ireland had brunette hair, how would that relate to Gideon's fetish of women with certain hair colours. Sigh! This is getting confusing.

 Hi Sscrph, I wonder when Gideon found out about Eva. Did he put a name with the face when he rented the apartment to her or was it after he met her in the Crossfire Building? It seems that from the moment he laid eyes on Eva, he never let her out of his sight. What do you think? What does everyone think?

 Hi Julie54, I went to Bared to You and I read on page 219 Sylvia writes "His mother and sister had his colouring, both women boasting the same glossy obsidian hair and thickly lashed blue eyes." I was under the impression that Gideon, Elizabeth Vidal and Ireland all had black hair and blue eyes. Can you tell me where you read that Ireland was a brunette? Maybe Sylvia put that in a as a ruse?  I also noticed that Gideon dated every type of woman except women who had black hair. I think that Corinne may have been the only exception. Maybe Gideon was so repulsed by his mother that he avoided women the same characteristics as his mother. What does everyone think?

Hi everyone, If the information that Sylvia releaseed was accurate, then she did a great job of stirring up controversy. Just think, the forums have been buzzing with activity and heated discussions ever since. Otherwise it is a clever ruse or a "red herring" of sorts.  I know that the first chapter is supposed to come out on May 7th, I am not sure if that chapter will contain all of the information that some of us in the forum are so desperate for. I guess we will have to wait and see. By hook or by crook, we will all have to wait until June 4th to get all the answers we are looking for (although the amount of time that the next book is supposed to cover is only two weeks).Â

Hi Julie54, I think most children want to believe that they were hatched from a pod or found in a field somewhere.  Not too many kids want to think that their parents have s** or G** forbid, they enjoy s**. I think their brains would begin to physically melt from that kind of realization.

 Ciao Gabri, You make some good points. Your observations were correct. In many ways Sylvia was making a parallel connection between Eva's budding love affair with New York and her soon to be budding love affair with Gideon. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hi everyone, At the end of chapter one Eva ran into Gideon in the elevator going down after her first day of work. Was it coincidence or did Gideon orchestrate the meeting? What does everyone think? Thoughts? Opinions?

Hi everyone, If Gideon's mother had black hair and all of the rest of his s** partners had different hair colours then how does the two issues correlate? How would Gideon have a fetish? Could someone please explain this point. It doesn't make sense to me. Thanks.
