  1. Hi Sscrph, At the end of the day, I don't think that guilt is romantic. The whole notion of murder isn't romantic either. I think that Eva would suffer unspeakably (for what Gideon may have done because of her/for her) and in the end it might tear Gideon and Eva apart.Â
  2. Hi Julie54, I also just wanted to add, that there were so many ways that Gideon Monica and Stanton could have all made Eva safe without having to kill Nathan. It is too convenient for me. All of them had every single advantage at their disposal (money, power, connections and even Nathan's stupidity in providing evidence of his crimes), so why resort to murder? I too will wait until June 4th for my answers.
  3. Hi Julie54, I agree sister! I need book three and four and five to confirm my suspicions that this was all just a rotten ruse!
  4.  Hi Julie54, I see that you are burning the "midnight oil" (ok, so I couldn't resist one tiny little pun ), but I think we would all make millions ourselves from all our contributions.  I don't think that any theory is trivial, each one has the potential of being true. If anything, I think each one of use has had the opportunity to hone our skills in figuring out which of all the theories presented may have been the plausible. For me that is a good thing.  I also think that you are absolutely correct. If Sylvia has been paying attention, she may have gotten a really good idea or two for another book. I think that there has been some incredible dialogue amongst the members. One would only hope that may have inspired Sylvia.
  5. Hi KiMa, I agree with you. I think Sylvia has played with us too often (just kidding). I want to hold that book in my hands and read it from myself before I say that Gideon killed Nathan. I also agree that I will wait until the very last page of the series to finally raise my "white flag" of defeat. I want to make sure that this wasn't some really bad dream on either Gideon or Eva's part.
  6. Hi Mrs.CrossXxXxX, I agree with your point. I too want to wait and see what will happen on June 4th. Until then I am not going to "convict" Gideon of anything! I need evidence. I need proof!Â
  7. Hi Julie54, I agree with you completely! I think that once I threw out my scientific perspective of wait and see or "gather the evidence" first, it opened up a floodgate of theories and speculations! I also think that was half the fun of this whole process! I am however going to wait until I have printed evidence in my hands before I raise the "white flag" of defeat on who killed Gideon.
  8.  Hi Julie54, I am absolutely sure that we have kept Sylvia entertained. That woman could have sold tickets and made millions from the "show" we the fans have put on for her (and for us)!  I can personally recall a time or two when I had steam coming out of my ears from one discussion or another.  I am also sure that many others may have had similar experiences. For those who didn't have the "steam experience" I am completely sure that they sat back and enjoyed the show.  It is brilliant unscripted entertainment!
  9. Hi KiMa, You are too hilarious! Â If your boyfriend is a good sport and is ok with you nicknaming him Gideon, then I say that guy is a keeper!
  10. Hi KiMa, I say go for it! I am all for change! I also agree that it is complete agony and torture to have to wait for the release of books. I understand that there may be delays or schedulling problems that can't be helped but this wait has be ridiculous! I hope that the publishers and all the higher ups who have been in control of this past situation have learned from their past mistakes and that nothing like this will happen in the future.  If not then I highly suspect that there may be a huge outcry from Sylvia's faithful fans!
  11.  Hi Julie54, There is always safety in numbers!  If you are crazy, then I am crazy too! Crazy for Gideon and Eva to have a happily ever after! :)
  12. Hi Julie54, After I stopped rolling around on the ground from laughter I agree with you! You ladies renew and restore my faith when it faulters just a bit! I too am keeping my fingers crossed that this just some ugly cruel ruse that we the ever faithful loyal "anyone other than Gideon did it" club have had to endure.
  13. Hi AMC, I love it when other people post their opinions and theories! It provides such a great opportunity to explore different ideas that I may not have thought of before. It also enriches my experiences of Sylvia's books.Â
  14. I am always more than happy to do research for team Gideon!
  15. Hi KiMa, Maybe it is a good thing that I am not married right now. I too have devoted so much time to these books, that I probably would have had issues with a relationship. As it is, all my friends ears have probably fallen off from me discussing and dissecting one theory after another.  I am so glad and grateful that you ladies share the same enthusiasm and passion for these books as I do! Thank you! :)Â
  16.  Hi Julie54, You are correct in that our imaginations are often so much better than our realities. I am a 42 year old woman who has yet to find herself a husband.  As far as my relatives are concerned, I am a complete oddity! I even think that my father secretly subscribes to a "goat herder" catalogue in hopes of finding me a husband (just kidding...sort of...).   So seeing as I am still an unmarried woman, I want Gideon to be innocent. I need this gorgeous, beautifully gifted man to be innocent. If I must suffer the indignities and subtle insults from my clan for not being married than surely Sylvia and the Universe can grant me this one simple request!
  17.  Hi KiMa, I agree with you completely! I have to wonder why Sylvia would choose now of all times to spill the beans. If what she said is true then couldn't that possibly affect the sales of her next book? Who would want to buy a book if they already knew what the outcome of the storyline was going to be? Surely it couldn't be just for the s**?  I have to believe that we the readers are smart savvy consumers and that we couldn't be swayed solely by a gorgeous, wealthy man, who was hung like a horse and could f*** like a p*** star. Yes, yes we all enjoy that but surely there has to be more!    I want more! I demand more (wink, wink)!   Â
  18. Hi MrsCrossfire, I am glad that Nathan is gone too. I would just be sad if Gideon is the one who killed him. I think that he would have to carry such a heavy burden for the rest of his life and I think that he and Eva have already been through so much. I wouldn't want him to suffer any more than he already has. Sigh!
  19. Â Â Typos shmypos...it's all good!
  20.  Hi KiMa, You are absolutely right! I have been sitting here and thinking and reading all of the snippets that may or "may not" have been deleated from the next book and I wonder whether this may a really well orchestrated ruse. We are so close to the next release of the book so why spill the beans now? Why not wait another month and a bit to let the reader find out for themselves if Gideon killed Nathan? That doesn't make sense to me. Thus far Sylvia has been tight lipped about this entire subject so why spoil the plotline? It is not like Sylvia was being interviewed by Oprah or Barbara Walters so it could have been some "exclusive scoop" of sorts.
  21. Hi MrsCrossfire, I don't think that there is any way you could offend anyone. I think everyone loves these characters and has come to their own conclusions based on their understanding of the storyline. If anything your opinion adds more spice to an already spicy topic.
  22.   Hi KiMa, Your skepticism has renewed my faith and hope in Gideon. Now all I have to do is hold on until June 4th to find out for myself what exactly happened.Â
  23. Hi MrsCrossfire, Do you think that Gideon killed Nathan? What's your take on the situation?
  24. Hi KiMa, I keep thinking about all the shows of the past, where the viewer was lead to believe one thing when really at the end, the storyline took a completely different turn. I keep hoping that this is just going to be some kind of bad dream of sorts and in the end we the readers will have been reading all about a really bad dream sequence that either Eva or Gideon had...fingers crossed!
  25. Hi Julie54, I think that Sylvia must surely be enjoying herself.  We are all sitting here in one camp or another, just stewing, or fuming, or giggling with glee over the news. Oh how the publishers must be loving all this activity!Â
