    Just a side note if anyone is interested...I have this decorating book called Alexa Hampton the Language of Interior Design and inside are gorgeous photos of many Manhattan apartments. I have been looking through it and now I can visualize what exactly Gideon's and Eva's places look like.. There is even a great photo of a marble entry foyer for Gideon's place!! It's making my re-read so much more enjoyable.

    My favorite thoughts are right at the end of the chapter because it is so telling of what is to come...Everything inside me twisted into a mess of wild and vibrating anxiety. I had no idea what I was doing with him, only that I couldn't stop even if I wanted to.

    I think because New York is the center of the advertising business and since her mom was there it probably could work but also because this is where Cary could have the most chance for success...

    Yes this was a big mistake on everyone's part if Gideon had told Eva about Nathan he could have openly protected her as he said he would instead of having her followed and so much heartbreak and angst could have been avoided I wonder if he will learn a lesson or just go back to his old ways ...

    I agree I think this point would be a big question for a DA to consider...Why would a guy like Gideon Cross KILL for a woman he has only known for two weeks...we know why because we know about his tortured past etc but the cops don't know -it just doesn't make sense that he would do it with everything he stands to lose.

    I totally agree with you I didn't like Gideon at first either but I think that's part of the reason we can't get these two out of our heads and we are on this board day and nite discussing them.Their story is so tragic you feel the pain of their childhood being snatched from them. We feel their desperation and we so want them to have their happy ending...

    They could even have a small reception at the beach house but then Eva and Gideon can fly to Italy for their honeymoon and Eva can eat to her heart's content since she loves food....sigh!!

    I would love to see it on the beach in North Carolina with Gideon in a white linen suit and Eva in a flowing gauze number with Victor Cary both giving her away ... Ireland as a bridesmaid and perhaps even Mark, Steven , and Shauna in attendance ...What do you all think? Let's all put down our ideas of what their wedding would be like!!!

    I don't think they will spend too much time engaged both Gideon and Eva both want EVERYONE to know that they belong to each other.
