Hmm still sneaking around in Chapter 9 ...I wonder if Brett is still in the picture... I don't see resolution of this till the very end and now in the next chapters I expect Victor to rear his not so ugly head because I would think there is no way he can let rest the fact that his beloved baby girl was questioned in a murder investigation...too much coincidence. What do you all think?

Back to snapshot #8...Eva's apartment does have a creme colored sectional and the NC beach house has white couches also but the beach house also specifically mentions glass and metal accessory pieces which the table in the snapshot appears to be. Also the pillow looks like it is somewhat of a summery fabric ...

Hi Gigi but even if someone did have the key card type master key if the occupant had the bar latch fastened someone would still not be able to gain entry . I think Nathan let his murderer in or he was already there waiting for Nathan to return.

Who knows, maybe Gideon has further investigated his father's death now that he has the vast resources to do so. Gideon mentions in the book the fact that his dad never really knew how to connect with people as rationale for the swindling but never discusses the suicide. I have always found it curious as to why he kept the name so maybe this will be addressed at some point.

I agree with you about the article Gigi and I also think a prosecutor would be crazy to take this on especially since Nathan was such an unsavory character coupled with no concrete evidence would be professional suicide. That being said, I just can't decide if Gideon did it. Only June 4th will tell and even then it may not be crystal clear until Book 4 . Oh well I guess I will pre-order that one too. LOL
