What about when Gideon popped into Eva's apartment before the advocacy dinner? I always thought her doorman phoned Gideon to tell him she had returned from the day spa or do you think Gideon was having her followed even then? And Gideon must have access to her credit card information because how would he be able to purchase her brands of cosmetics etc I have always wondered about this what do you all think?

Hi LN I think after that steamy session in the limo Eva broke Gideon of a lot of things....even though some would say he was sexually advanced emotionally he could only be described as virginal and he didn't know how to handle all these feelings it was like having sex for the first time and no wonder he was reeling and running scared as Cary suggested... I give him credit for pursuing Eva and trying to build and maintain a relationship with her because it certainly hasn't been hearts and flowers. Hi LN I love your Brett idea . As much as I love Gideon and know he has been through a lot , he really hurt Eva these past few weeks and perhaps he needs a wake up call but your idea about a separate car seems to make more sense. You know everyone loves a good love triangle!!!

And how odd is the behavior of Elizabeth Vidal at the garden party to which Eva even commented on? Who asks someone they have never met before what their natural hair color is and even Ireland voiced this same observation they are all obsessed with hair color and what is the reason for this I hope SD lets us in on the secret ...I think the Vidals treat Gideon as some kind of oddity as opposed to the brilliant mega mogul estranged son that he is ...What does everyone think?

Hi Gigi, but the opposite can also be said... Many individuals and families are the victim of violent crimes at the hands of the so-called criminally insane... These families never get their loved ones back or even have their day in court because the criminally ill perp is locked away in a mental institution and always have to worry about their release someday. Nathan is a perfect example . He was obviously not cured like so many others let out on the streets to have free rein. I personally feel in the US our penalties for child molesters and the like are too relaxed and these people are released to terrorize again another day. But this is a subject for another day not on a forum about a romance novel about a guy who f--- like a p*** star and is hung like a horse-- your words LOL

I totally agree with this I look forward to finding out if and when Victor knows the truth and I would love to see him rip into Monica Stanton. That being said, just imagining the horrifying and depraved content of the videos and pictures that Nathan possessed is enough for me to conclude that Gideon was in an impossible position. I would never want someone I loved to be subjected to living through what would be such a degrading experience as having those pictures viewed by outside parties in a trial not to mention that Nathan was criminally insane and a certain threat to Eva. We will just have to wait for the book we have no choice...

I find it hard to believe that Eva wouldn't have refused to sleep in her own bedroom during those years; I think Monica must have been a complete idiot . She is my least favorite character in the book and a complete fake in my opinion not to mention a failure as a mother. The extreme guilt she lives with is well deserved...
