This is definitely a chapter where someone bares their sole. I hope. But we have so many candidates. As for Monica's fragility, I don't think she will cope at all, this will put Eva in a bad place. She is going to be put under enormous pressure, Monica, Gideon, and Cary. I just hope she is strong enough to cope. Yes we are seeing a new Eva, but her shoulders can only carry so much.

Well ladies. We have reached the chapter where it all goes pear shaped. That being an under statement. Eva's world is going to fall apart. Gideons stress levels have gone through the roof. The heartache they are going to suffer, indescribable. Dark days. :(

Hang on!!! Just another theory. Didn't Monica sit in a chair like this in a restaurant, when she went to lunch with Eva and Megumi. Could it be about her guilt over Eva, her abuse, and bad parenting? Could this be a chat with Victor? Oh I don't know!!! My head is swimming with theories. Ive been consumed by this book. Finding it hard to function, because I'm thinking about Gideon and Eva, when I stop for a coffee!

I I think this is in the library at the Vidal house. Could this relate to Elizabeth, and her mistakes abandoning Gideon as a child. It might tie in with the watch in the previous photo. Which some thought related to Elizabeth. Gideon having a talk with his mother at long last about his abuse and how she handled the situation. Why she didn't believe him. Hopefully it is. A long time coming.

I think Eva would have been pleased to know that the pad had gone. She did think about it when they got to NC. I suppose, if he said he had got rid of it that weekend, then 5 days later, have a vodka party at the pad for the alibi, it would have made him a liar. But up to that weekend Nathan's murder hadn't been planned. The plan happened Monday after Cary got beaten up. So many if and buts!

It is definitely a watch. A ladies watch. Not as pretty as the diamond encrusted watch though.

Hi Gabri. At the end of Reflected, he told Eva he got rid of his f*ckpad the night of her nightmare. He said it wasn't the time to tell her, so soon after her being sick. So when she brought it up in NC, why didn't he tell her then? It was another secret to fuel Eva's insecurities.

I agree with you. The audio version is heartbreaking. When I imagined it happening, I kept seeing Gideons face, and the pain he was feeling. So sad. Unfortunately Graves is good at her job. Gideons, ducks in a row, went a bit awry. His heart over ruling his brain.

According to Sylvia Days FB page, the Norwaygate vendors who gave the book away early were in violation of the embargo. Publishers are trying to stem leaks worldwide. Yet another boob. Spoiling it for the rest of us. One woman has down loaded it to her ebook. Another woman has posted on FB that the book is out there, and she has done reading it.

I feel the same. I want to mother them, talk through their troubles with them, cuddle them, put them right. And always be there for them. Do what a mother should do for them. Love them unconditionally.

Ok ladies. I don't have a favourite line or passage for this chapter. I have a favourite two pages today, and they are pages 190 & 191, when they kiss each other to or*asms. So da*n hot. "Your kisses are mine" "Yes. Gideon....." I was shaken, left emotionally raw and open by the most erotic moment of my life. Swoon. Also the line, "I'd rather argue with you, angel, than laugh with anyone else" "You know.......I love you madly" He smiled. "Yes I know" "Heaven with my angel. It doesn't get any better than this." Heck, the whole darn chapter. :)

So agree with you. This chapter was heartbreaking. I cried for both Eva and Gideon. The hurt they were both going through, was indescribable. Eva knowing that Gideon had seen the photos of her abuse. Gideon knowing that he had to use her love for him against her. I have never got emotional over a book before. The whole two books are emotional. I'm expecting book three to also be tough on the tissues. :(

Had to replace Bared to You this morning! My other copy fell to bits. Young man smiled at me in a cheeky way when I gave it to him. :)
