I agree, Gideons hotels are most likely upscale and equiped with high security standards in place. Especially if he is comfortable letting Eva & Carey go and stay in one without him. I was thinking of a way to enter the room in an emergency like a fire, earthquake, flooding, complete loss of power etc. In these events the key card may not be operational or functional. I'm sure there has to be some way to enter the room to clear it or rescue the guests.

Sylvia suggested reading a chapter a day from Bared then Reflected. So we will be ready when Entwined is released.... anybody want to compare notes for each chapter? Bared to you Chapter 1 Eva & Cary have relocated to NY and are finishing the unpacking. Eva is nervous starting her new job. Decides to do a test walk to time it for her commute. It depends on what master key he uses. If it is a housekeeper key, it would only be recorded as housekeepers... Who most likely discovered his body. Or he could have used an actual master key, the metal kind, which don't get recorded. I had not thought of the master key idea before now. I think Gideon was involved somehow. During their time apart, he tells Eva he "had an opportunity he had to take", "this is how it has to be", and to "wait for him". At another earlier time Gideon tells Eva (I don't know the exact words) he would give up everything for her, and he would kill for her.

Me tooooooo! Guess it has been so long inbetween books I was hoping to have a longer adventure together while waiting for the next one :-)

Waves hi back! Oh Okayyyyy, now I get it. I was hopeful for a longer journey with Eva and Gideon this time around :-D

This sounds to me like the length of time we spend with Eva and Gideon through Entwined. "and only two weeks since the end of Reflected in You". (the laps of time between books?) Maybe I'm reading the paragraph wrong though?

I think Entwined is a few months and it picks up two weeks after Reflected ends.

I totally understand. Maybe I'll take my time and savor every word so there isn't as much of a gap in time? *sigh* But at least we know there is more coming our way *giggles*

I think that could be a possibility. I think if it has only been 2weeks from where we left off I'm hoping they can move out of the shadow of Nathan and forward as Eva & Gideon, maybe discovering a few if Gideons secrets along the path? And I'm hoping Brett doesn't become a bigger character in this book. :-)
