The fun part of the chapter was the practically full-blown phone sex about the DB9.

"Your lack of respect for this vehicle's upholstery is appalling" (page 163) is the funniest line since the infamous B.O.B. phone conversation in Bared to You (pages 51-52). In fact, I was reminded of that conversation, the first time Gideon and Eva ever spoke on the phone, and her sassy line, "You definitely have the voice for phone sex, but I've got to go. I have a date with my v.i.b.r.a.t.o.r. .... and Gideon's response "What will it take to talk you into a threesome with B.O.B.?"

Love this scene too! I found myself smiling as i read it :-)

I thought it was that title combined with the original book cover that was too racy to put on the shelves...

I was actually surprised at how rude and disrespectful Tatiana was. When Cary and Tatiana showed up at the apartment and Gideon and Eva were eating pizza,Tatiana saw Gideon and flashed him a come-hither smile. Then the following morning, Tatiana was walking around the apartment butt naked, I love that Eva confronts her. And I really like the part where Eva walks into the kitchen and sees Gideon leaning back into the counter, leisurely drinking his coffee. He wore a black suit and pale grey tie and look unbearably handsome. Ava asks "enjoy the show?" Ava hated that he saw another woman naked and not just any woman, but a model with the lean, willowy body type he'd been known to prefer. He lifted one shoulder in a careless shrug, "Not especially." "You like 'em tall and skinny." Gideon set his left hand over mine. The rubies on his wedding band sparkled in the bright kitchen lights. "Last I checked, the wife I can't resist was petite and voluptuous, Spectacularly so." I LOVE this part, I can just picture our Sexy Gideon standing there all nonchalantly in his gorgeous suit......Yummmmy!

I loved how Eva tells Gideon a bed time story and sooths him to sleep. I also love how she cuddled with him all night long too.

I know we don't have an official title for book 4.... Yet.... I think a good title is "Deeper in You".

I know that was a suggested title for the original 1st book, that was changed to "Bared to You". Eva & Gideon have grown so much together "Deeper in You" could be an appropriate title.

What do you think?

I am also curious if the cuffs were attached to something else (like the bed) besides to her wrists. Later when she went to the bathroom and eyed the shower, she remembered she still have the cuffs on. so were they attached to anything ?

I think the cuffs were not attached to anything. Eva had them around her wrists and Gideon instructed her where to put her hands and what to hold on to (the pillow). He didn't attach them to anything.... I think he is being cautious and taking baby steps with Eva

Perhaps it might be best for Corrine to find out the truth -- Gideon already was married to Eva even before Corrine swallowed that bottle of pills -- while Corrine is still hospitalized. She'll find out anyway, so maybe it's best she do so while she's locked up for her own safety. Because whether it was a desperate gesture to get Gideon's attention or genuine "nervous breakdown" engineered by Dr. Anne Lucas, Corrine is a danger to herself at present.

I agree The Giroux's need to know the true relationship status of The Cross's. I think it would help solidify the reality for 'both' of them.

I think Tatiana would go for a hair grab and then Eva would knock her OUT. No where near the belly of course but hey being pregnant does not give you a free pass to get physical with someone and have them take it like its all good.

Tatiana would probably give Cary an ultimatum.

Tat did hint to an ultimatum already. When Eva informed Tat she needs to wear clothes in Eva's apartment.

I'd love to have Tat attempt to physically attack Eva when Cary and / or Gideon are within line of sight, so they can see who started it and see Eva finish it. I think that would be the end of Tat once and for all.

Did you notice how Elizabeth Vidal was orchestrating the entire scenario at the hospital (ye I stated that in another posting), but when I went back and re-read the passage, I noticed that Jean Francois was almost like an outsider himself. Corinne was his wife and yet he seemed to be playing second fiddle during the entire situation. My question would be why wouldn’t Jean Francois tell Elizabeth Vidal to sit down and shut the heck up?! Did you/anyone also notice that Corinne’s parents weren’t stepping up in support of him either? Do you have any thoughts?

I wondered if Corrine's patents felt Giroux has taken their little girl away from them... She was in France while they were in the USA. I think Giroux may have been heart broken as well. He was in a hospital waiting room because his wife was in love/ for another man and she tried to overdose because that man doesn't feel the same way for her.

I have a question about one of my all time favorite scenes--the airplane ride to the Caribbean.

When Gideon was introducing Eva to the cuffs he told her to close her eyes and use your safeword before you open you eyes if you have to.

Then he said "Let's be very clear about this, Eva. Your safeword isn't for me It's for you. All you have to say to me is no or stop, but just like wearing the cuffs makes you feel bound, saying your safeword will put your mind in the right place. Do you understand?'

Where is the right place he wants her mind that means no? Just curious.

I believe it puts her in a submissive state of mind. Submitting to Gideon mentally as well as physically.

Think back to Reflected when they talked about the "swing". Gideon says something about he wants Eva bound mentally, not physically....

LOL I can't picture Angus hollering much of anything. I just thought how great it would have been to see the looks on the faces of Elizabeth and Corrines parents if they had in fact heard Angus address Eva as Mrs. Cross :-)

I actually loved that scene. Finally Eva felt safe enough to let her mom hear her feelings.

I also loved how she went to their shared apartment to get some space from the rest of the world including her mom.

I took it as he meant " I don't mastar**** anymore" as in since he met Eva he no longer does it. He always says about his sem** that "every drop is hers" which makes me think he regards it as sacred now he is with Eva! He also says the only time he got himself off since he met her was when he was in the shower with her!

Before he met Eva it was just a normal daily function for him but now he views all forms of se.x.u.a.l actIvity as sacred!

Does that make sense?

I liked that too. I just wish she had actually cancelled but I can understand why she didn't (if she was using Brett as a cover of sorts). I don't think I buy that whole Eva and Brett wanting to be friends deal. Given different circumstances, I don't know that Eva would have had further dealings with Brett. He was her past and Gideon is her future. What do you think?

I think that Elizabeth Vidal was too busy glaring at Eva and then at the engagement ring to notice anything else. I think her brain shut down when she saw the ring. After that I think she was seeing big black spots in front of her.

I have also been curious if anybody (other than Eva) heard Angus address Eva as Mrs Cross when he came to the hospital to taker her home for Gideon.

I had a thought and am wondering what everyone else thinks. Gideon is wearing a wedding band at this point. Did Lizzie ( ) not notice this?

I doubt they will... Monica is team Gideon. Elizabeth is team anybody other than Eva.

I would love to know your thoughts on why Gideon needed to get married then, that weekend so badly? He tells Eva, I need the vows, the legality......I'm going crazy without them. We know they are deeply in love with each other and they agree there isn't anyone else for them but why did he want to get married so quickly? Don't get me wrong, I love that they are married and thought is was so romantic but as I re read the wedding last night, I wondered why he was so desperate...

I think he wanted to know his safe place wasn't going anywhere. He drafted a pre nup with provisions to protect the unity and stability of the relationship not his financial assets.

I know this is one of my questions for Sylvia but I'll bet it won't be answered until book 4 or 5 ...

That has been a question of mine ever since I read that scene the first time....

Your theory about why Christopher Jr. may be pushing the sex tape (or has knowledge of it, who knows) is plausible. I only struggle with how short sighted that plan is. I have wondered how smart or devious Christopher Jr. really is and what his reaction to the news, that Eva and Gideon are now married, will be. Oh to be a fly on that wall….

I have a feeling the reaction to the wedding news is going to hit a few of the characters hard. Namely Elizabeth, Chris Jr, Corrine....

I think Eva knows cheating is a HARD LIMIT!! Remember in RIY when Eva was distraught over Coinne's appearance at the Crossfire looking freshly fuc$ed? Later when she and Gideon were rehashing the event he says"secrets are something we can work through cheating isn't." There is no way she would cheat after all it took them to get where they are now in their relationship...

I agree. Eva will be faithful to Gideon. If Brett pushes his luck he may get to see a whole new side to Eva.... The Krav Maga side :-D Followed by Cary swooping closely followed by Gideon
