  1. "Stay" By Rihanna

    (feat. Mikky Ekko)

All along it was a fever

    A cold sweat hot-headed believer

I threw my hands in the air, said, "Show me something,"

He said, "If you dare come a little closer."

Round and around and around and around we go

Oh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know

Not really sure how to feel about it.

Something in the way you move

Makes me feel like I can't live without you.

It takes me all the way.

    I want you to stay

It's not much of a life you're living

It's not just something you take – it's given

Round and around and around and around we go

Oh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know

Not really sure how to feel about it.

Something in the way you move

Makes me feel like I can't live without you.

It takes me all the way.

    I want you to stay.

Ooh the reason I hold on

Ooh cause I need this hole gone

Funny you're the broken one but I'm the only one who needed saving

Cause when you never see the light it's hard to know which one of us is caving

Not really sure how to feel about it.

Something in the way you move

Makes me feel like I can't live without you.

It takes me all the way.

I want you to stay, stay.

I want you to stay, oh.

I think I posted this one a while back... I still like it for Eva & Gideon .... Actually I think of them when I hear it LOL

  2. Just thought of another thing... He also felt guilty that he had 'dropped the ball' so to speak when Nathan attacked Cary. He felt responsible for not protecting someone Eva cared for and I don't think he would want to make the same mistake again. Given Clancy knows the full history of Nathan and Eva (something Angus may or may not know) I don't believe he would have had any qualms about covering up Gideon's crime.

He might not have the same drive to commit the murder (if you know what I mean, he wouldn't just kill Nathan for appearing in NY and stalking someone he's hired to protect) but I think he would understand Gideon's motivation for doing so, and assist him in anyway possible if he realised what Gideon had just done.

In fact Eva asked him what he would do to protect his wife. His answer "what wouldn't I do?"

I LOVED his answer to Eva

  3. Broke my heart when Gideon said that at times he couldn't stand being by himself. Wondering what he would do if not have s*x with whoever he brought to the f#*k pad.

"There was a time when I couldn't stand to be alone with myself, but didn't want to talk. I didn't want to even think, let alone feel anything. I needed the distraction of focusing on someone else, and using my d##k was too much involvement. Can you understand that?"

So focusing on someone else I think thats where all the toys came as he didn't wanna use his TOOL.

Same here.... Just wanted to give him a big hug

  4. Hi Peachies,

You come up with an interesting theory. Do you think that Detective Graves planted the evidence solely to protect her career because of her major screw up or do you think that something more may be going on? What do you think?

Originally yes... But then in my reread I began to think maybe Clancy was involved.

  5. Christopher Jr. really made me angry by very deliberately trying to wreck Gideon's attempt to win Eva back. As far as Christopher (and everyone else, even Ireland) knew, Times Square was the first time in weeks Gideon dared even approach Eva. So what does Christopher do very deliberately in front of Eva:

    • Made it clear that Corrine talks to him (Christopher) frequently -- meaning Corrine has some sort of closeness to the Vidal family
    • Gideon is being a jerk to Corrine now by refusing to talk to her -- just like Gideon had cut off Eva for weeks (and likely will be a jerk to Eva yet again, if Eva gave Gideon any opportunity to do so)
    • Accused Gideon of (unfortunately, this part is true) of sending Corrine mixed signals -- and doing so in a way that would point out to Eva the fact that Gideon (unfortunately had done so recently) sent Eva herself mixed signals.
    • " .... gone over to her place last night." Last NIGHT. Hint, hint, Eva -- Gideon's f**** Corrine last night. He probably wants to f*** you tonight, but don't let him.

Good Lord, how much you want to bet Christopher knew all about Eva's insecurity and jealousy problem, compliments of Mrs. Giroux (who of course would have spun it as Eva being some nutjob while Corrine herself was a sweet little victim of Eva's crazy). Now Christopher is doing Corrine's dirty work for his own selfish ends --- trying to make Eva jealous and insecure and making her believe Gideon still is some cold-hearted jerk. Gideon was doing to Corrine now the exact manipulative thing he'd done to Eva -- and soon as Eva would let him back in, he'd turn on her again and run back to Corrine. Lather-rinse-repeat Gideon using women.

I think Jr wants Eva & Brett back together to boost sales and marketing for Vidal Records. Then he can show his mom he can manage a company successfully. Then he will work on Elizabeth to have her convince Gideon to not have controlling shares in the company.

  6. Is anyone else slightly confused by Victor's almost immediate acceptance of Gideon & Eva getting back together? Giving his permission to marry Eva after seeing him cheating on her just 3 weeks previously.

I'm sure he understands that there are details of their lives that are private and between them. But I know my father would never give permission to marry me to a man who publically cheated on me & appears to have chosen the other woman for at least a while. Do you know what I mean?

Cary also, I know by the time he and Eva talk about Gideon he has other things going on in his life, and also that he's been aware of them being back together for a while. But I find it hard to believe that he would just accept Gideon's cheating on Eva with Corinne without questioning Eva about it at all. Especially considering he and Eva don't really keep secrets from one another. Then again, he may just see it as Gideon was falling back into old habits - running instead of dealing with their issues or pushing Eva away because he wasnt ready to deal with his past. Ok Cary I can buy, but he has information Victor isnt privy to.

I think the context and content of the conversation between Victor and Gideon would be great. Remember Gideon is a negotiator... He could have revisited and revised until he "won" Victor over.

  7. Hi Donnad,

What I saw during the prenup scenario was Eva's automatic negative reaction to something that Gideon had done. What I really liked about that scenario is that instead of automatically going to find Gideon and lay into him, she went and took a shower and actually gave herself some time to calm down. Then she actually looked at the document instead of rushing to snap judgements and making rash decisions.

For me that was huge progress on Eva's part. Those actions told me that she was mentally heading in the right direction. What do you think? What does everyone think?

    I agree GiGi

  8. I know that Gideon is getting better communicating with Eva but ....

Does it bother anyone that Gideon had time to text Angus requesting that he pic up Eva. I'm sure Gideon told Angus and/or Raul that he was leaving town but he couldn't find a minute to tel Eva. Was he angry about the tape and needed time. He turned off the tracker so Eva couldn't track him even though he gave her the instructions to track. Also, when he got back in town Gideon left Eva without telling her. I think he still needs some work in the area of communication.

I think Gideon was in the airplane when Eva tried to track him. I don't think he turned it off.

  9. I keep replaying the conversation that Eva has with Clancy. "How far would you go to keep her [wife] safe? We slowed at the light and he turned his head to look at me. "How far wouldn't I go?"

He already feels guilty that he didn't watch Cary closer he doesn't want Eva hurt by Gideon going to jail.

I noticed that too. And it also makese wonder if clancy or a connection of his (fbi brother) had anything to do with the bracelet, photos, and mob corpse

  10. No the question I was thinking about from the start,,, before we were allowed to talk about it was the whole Russian mob/Nathan conection...that really didnt play into Graves explanation...the detectives really had no idea about that...as I said in the pre spoiler time I think that this is going to be a key element in book 4,,,that tie in

I kinda have a feeling Det. Graves planted the bracelet and photos on the mob corpse. Graves knew she blew it when she asked question to Eva after Eva requested her attorney. The only way to "close" 2 of her cases was to paint the mob guy as the one who killed Nathan and supply the evidence.

    Just a thought
