 Hi Lorna,  I believe Sylvia addressed it in another forum.  It was not lipstick it was blood. When we re-read the scene the book said it looks like lipstick. Nathan had been up to see Gideon. Things didn't go the way Nathan planned them....

 My husband and I both read FSoG and The Crossfire series. We both felt the reading level was a little lower than we expected, especially with there being a heavy BDSM theme in the story. We also found ourselves skipping over some of the sex scenes because they were fairly redundant. However I too went through CG withdrawls when I was finished with the books. I was hoping for more from CG POV and maybe a mirrored series of the 3 books written from his POV.  I LOVE the Crossfire series, the characters have more depth to them and seem more like a real person. I find myself relating to a couple of them at times. Then at other times I am wanting to have a cup of coffee and conversation with them to find out what they are thinking and maybe point them in a better direction :-) And I am totally going through Eva and Gideon withdrawls waiting for the next book to come out!!!

I don't think Megumi's room mate is Deanna... If it was then Megumi and Eva wouldn't be able to be friends any more, AND I don't see them working together much longer....I am hoping Megumi is just a girl who loves gossip (and hot men) and that is really the only reason she was asking about Gideon and the relationship Eva has with him. Â I am hoping she is not dating Christopher JR. That wouldn't be good at all! Â But right now I just realized, when Eva and JR went to lunch near the end of Reflected he asked her out (again) to dinner. She said maybe and she'd be in contact.... So it makes me think JR isn't involved seriously with somebody. or he is a bigger creep than realized. Â Hopefully Megumi's boyfriend is somebody Cross did/does business with. Then Maybe Megumi and Eva can be better friends and maybe see each other at some social functions.... It would give Eva somebody to sit with other than Magdeline

I think Brett will be a bigger issue than Corrine. However with Gideon having controlling interest in the record label for Bretts band I don't think he (Brett) will be a big problem.

I don't think there was abyss contact between Gideon And Giroux. Everything at this point it traceable for the police. Gideon has been working hard at his alibi and into convincing everyone he & Corrine are together.... Any contact to Giroux from Gideon text, phone call, email, etc. could compromise that. The only way they could talk would be in person, and that is difficult with them in different countries.

I haven't been able to listen to the interview yet.... Did she talk about the dialogue at the garden party between Gideon And Elizabeth (about Cary)? And what it meant.

French passport.... Hopefully Corrine and her husband are returning to France.... Together. Hopefully they both stay there too :-)

I think he meant come home to him. Not necessarily referring to the house or physical location. But instead meaning come to be with him. (home in his arms)

I think Gideon needs control just as much as Eva does and for similar reasons. To me Gideon also has never trusted a partner in the way he trusts Eva. He was trying to find a balance of control that would work for both of them.

When Elizabeth says no not Cary too, Gideon replied with (I don't have the exact quote) I thought you'd like him, just remember he is Eva's friend which makes him mine too. What did all of that mean?
