I know that Gideon is getting better communicating with Eva but ....  Does it bother anyone that Gideon had time to text Angus requesting that he pic up Eva. I'm sure Gideon told Angus and/or Raul that he was leaving town but he couldn't find a minute to tel Eva. Was he angry about the tape and needed time. He turned off the tracker so Eva couldn't track him even though he gave her the instructions to track. Also, when he got back in town Gideon left Eva without telling her. I think he still needs some work in the area of communication.

Speaking of Monica...  I'm wondering if Stanton knows that Monica is still in love with Victor.  I have to agree with Eva Victor should have taken Monica to a hotel instead of doing the deed in an apartment that Stanton is paying for. I was more upset with Victor when I first read it but now that I think about it he is only human. Maybe he needed one more time to be able to move on. I felt really bad for Eva. I so happy that Gideon was available for her that day.

 I think anything is possible but I have a feeling something is up with Megumi.Â

 If Michael is Chris Jr. why did he start dating Lacey? He didn't know that Lacey wouldn't be that into him and then turn him over to Megumi. I think he is just an abusive jerk but then I've learn that Sylvia will throw a curve ball like the bracelet. I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait for the next book already.

There is no way that Eva would cheat on Gideon. She begged Gideon not to look at the tape because it would spoil their relationship. Finding out they repeated the video would be the end and Eva couldn't live with hurting Gideon like that.  I don't like the Brett story arc but after listening to Sylvia's interview today, it looks like the next 2 1/2 books will focus on Gideon's issues. I think one of Gideon's issues is not allowing Eva to fight some of her own battles. Brett is going to be a battle.Â

 I agree. I said that when we first met Deanna in the Chapter 1 release. I think she wanted more because he is a rich, hot guy but he never promised any more. Gideon said he used her to distract Anne so maybe he gave her the impression that more was possible and then she found out once was enough for Gideon and it hurt.

I keep replaying the conversation that Eva has with Clancy. "How far would you go to keep her [wife] safe? We slowed at the light and he turned his head to look at me. "How far wouldn't I go?"  He already feels guilty that he didn't watch Cary closer he doesn't want Eva hurt by Gideon going to jail.

 I like the fact that Sylvia is developing the support characters. I think it makes the story more realistic. Let's face it in real life there is always so much going on around us that we have to learn to deal with it all.  I think that Eva sees some of herself in Megumi and can help her. That said, I just think Michael came back and knocked her around.Â

 Good point. Maybe that is how Gideon and him mom get back on good terms. Maybe Elizabeth will fight for Gideon against Christopher and help Gideon get the tape.Â

Sorry I'm jumping in and out of the discussion but has anyone talked about Megumi,  I think she is in an abusive relationship with Michael. At first I thought it was CVjr. but now I think it is someone else. I think when Lacey returns she will find Megumi beaten and report back to Martin and Eva.  Also, I think Christopher Jr. knows about the sex tape and is going to try to get it and release it. I wonder if that is why Elizabeth said she knows about Eva and the rocker.Â

 I had the impression that he just wanted company for the most part and serviced the women. He would engage in the actual act occasionally (Deanna) but it didn't really mean anything to him. In the middle of doing business he took a phone call and just dismissed Deanna and made her feel cheap.  My guess is that was a common occurrence. I'm thinking he used the toys and maybe his finger to avoid emotions on his part. Therefore, he regular morning shower included masturbation.Â

 I thought I read in one of her interviews that book #4 was finished...it could just be wishful thinking though.

 I think they were both working on it but Gideon wanted Angus at his wedding.  I want to know what Angus said to Gideon after he was married that made them teary eyed.  I also want to know what Arnoldo said to Gideon at the restaurant before the concert in the last book.

 I don't see Eva having any relationship with Brett if he makes a major play for her. If he does I hope she uses her Krav Maga skills on him. She is a married woman now even if no one knows it.

My list for sex scene favorites  1. The plane - I think it was just perfect. Eva wants to help Gideon and it took me back to the Vidal's library when Eva asked Gideon to erase Nathan.  2. The office. I liked everything about it, the ring, the "Tell me about your meeting with Giroux/" and Eva's response "How did you know?" "Eva Christ. I love you." "I guess you like the ring."  3. The first scene in chapter 1 and 2. - It just made me believe that they were back together and going to make it some how.  4. The nightclub sex -- OMG was that hot and voyeuristic.  5. I like them all so I hate to leave any out.
